I remember listening to these stories on my radio when I was in college in the early 80's and late 70's. I listened on the PBS radio station and each night was a different genre. one night was a love story. another was a comedy. then a western. and Thursday or Friday night was the mystery night and the final one was a sci Fi I think. some of those mystery theaters were so scary I could hardly sleep but I couldn't turn the radio off til the end. I always made sure I was in bed in plenty of time to listen to all the stories every night. Loved it.
Thank you so much for uploading these. I used to listen to these regularly as a young teenager in the early 70s. Loved them
Love it! Love it ! Love it! I never forgot listening to Mystery Theater on the radio long ago. It entertained me for countless hours and helped me get through a very difficult and painful time in my life. Thank you for this.
Thanks for keeping this GREAT series alive!! In THIS very episode we were treated to some of the best acting ever recorded. I listen every night before sleep....have been for over 2 years. By the way, one of the awesome writers, Sam Dann's daughter Victoria (I believe) was in the comments under one of these CBSRMT channels...she's cool, and also wrote some episodes herself. Thanks again. ;-)
Love this program
Hey dude. I've listened to all of your CBS Radio Mystery episodes via UA-cam, even though I already have these on my hard drive. (All the episodes are available for free on the Web.) Thanks for the effort that you put into the pictures that accompanied the episodes. The UA-cam channel ChillySunshine appears to continue to be adding episodes, it's almost up to episode 1,000 of the 1,399 total episodes. Again, your efforts are greatly appreciated. Cheers.
Enjoyable. Worth listening to! Thanks.
Takes me back Thanks

Hey Ken....it’s Kevin from TN from years ago! You and I traded cassette tapes with CBSRMT episodes about 20 years ago! You added to my collection quite a bit! Hope you remember me! I’ve subscribed to your channel. It’s good to hear these again. I never though of putting mine in here. No need now, your are here! Take care friend!
Ahh theater of the mind...
IT'S A WONDERFUL FANTASY HORROR WORLD CREATED WITH ONLY THE USE OF SOUND (NO IMAGES WHATSOEVER) : VOICES/ MUSIC AND SOUND EFFECTS. OH BOY: NO MORE!!!
Bravo
On a scale of 1-10
This episode is an 6.3
This was sort of like Twilight Zoneish. But a good one.
I ENJOYED THIS BEING A CHILD BUT IN SPANISH!!!
They were produced in Spanish too?
maybe you only thought it was in spanish - do you have signs of an implant? 😉

You rang...?
Why does every psychiatrist on the radio sound like Freud?
a pretty bad episode - unexplained motives for alien - terrible alien writing and acting and sound - slow moving plot - and that scifi trope that love is all-powerful in the universe
