This is not true at all lol. In the UK there are policies in place so that ticketing sites can’t oversell concert tickets (Taylor isn’t the one pricing them) but because of these policies they’re not extortionate. Standard standing was £195 I believe (I was seated close the the stage box for £185). I’m not sure about VIP but it wouldn’t have cos that much more. My estimate is £250 but people who bought VIP were given early access, merch and more which was included in the cost. Hope this helps!

She has definitely made herself into a powerhouse commercial product, somehow her talent management and agent has found a formula for her to bring in the money. I know many here are crazy for her, I mean she looks like a great package on the stage, all the supporting music , band, back-up singers, and not to forget the awesome sound engineers that can turn her mediocre voice into something decently good. People forget how important those sound engineers are. In comparison, you throw in Jessie J, Ariana Grande, these gals can really really sing, even without any supporting band or sound engineers. And they can perform awesomely on stage as well. Just take the performance Ariana did with "the weekend" singing LIVE on stage the song "Save your tears"... The mind boggling vocals Ariana has, there is almost nothing this gal cannot sing, her vocal range is out of this world... I probably come from old school, if you claim to be a superstar singer, then you should have the vocals to support it. There are so many less prominent musicians and singers who sing significantly better than TS, but they just don't have the marketing and talent management backing TS has. She had the luck of the draw, at the right place at the right time. If people know who Loren allred is, the original singer for the song "Never Enough" , tell me if TS can even come close to those vocal capability. Just look up the youtube videos on her performing the song.

I think the major TS appeal comes from the victimhood songs and ‘revenge’ songs/smear campaigns on her exes. I also think she has a personality disorder called Borderline.
Was Dave Grohl right? She takes the mic away from her mouth and awful lot and there is no difference in the sound....also when it cuts in for her to talk it sounds very different, can hear the breathing from dancing....

sorry I think she is very very over-rated. Her songs all kind of sound the same and melody and just sort of these shouted out small range rather boring melodies. The actual music is mediocre machine-driven Pop with insipid lyrics, sung by a lady with an ordinary dull voice, dressed in her skimpy Fairy Princess costumes performing some simple choreographed moves with no great talent.
