When I used my self cleaning oven my house got so hot my shower curtain rod fell down and broke! It’s far from my kitchen (happened twice) so I never use it anymore!
I actually have the cover for my stove that has the holes in it and I absolutely love it. It cuts down on the cleaning cleaning I have to do when things fell over. I’ve never had any problems with it had ordered my first one on eBay and saw it on Temu and I bought another one. It works great for me. I’m sorry you had a hard time with it.
