Or just shift the layer by a little and keep the same instrument. That will help more than adding 50 copies of the same exact sound.

First find out how chords work, then scales, then chord progressions. It takes like an hour to remember all of it and you can even perfect it. You just need to know some music theory, which I've been diving straight into. Learning piano is one of the best change in hearts I've ever made.
