I think you put it in perspective very well. We have bought units since the 80's, before internet. You have to have multiple resources to move volume. I think what people dont see is a video series with units start to competion. Some units can take a year or 2 to completely milk. Unless you have multiple outlets. Your set up is perfect for that.

Thank you sir, you will only learn this by actually being in the business. Inventory from the units definitely begins to overlap and some items do take months and yes I have sold items several years later that just got pushed to the back somewhere.

I have heard in some states you cannot sell them. I'm glad I can because I get some in really good shape that I sell for good money.

Truth be told and spoken lol Everybody has to come up with their own plans but I too agree that not all can be sold online I just wish that I could have a place like yours It's one of those dreams that might have been but not at my age lol

That is true everyone has to come up with a plan that best suits them. I'm just pointing out the fact that when specifically buying storage units you will get many items that you literally cannot sell online make a profit on those in the process. Thank you for watching

If you're talking about on my channel that is not true. I have never ever deleted a single comment from any video I have ever posted. Not sure what you were talking about.

UA-cam does lots of comment removal on its own.

With exception of Pirate...these folks all buy storage lockers or pick estate/yard sales & sell items via online auction or other resale. Pirate started out doing that, but seems to have switched to buy outs. These guys do make money, but they don't resell every single item. They cherry pick the good stuff & dispose of the rest either trash or donation. The ones making a lot of money are also making money off UA-cam, Facebook, etc for views/ads. Treasure Hunting with Jebus has recently released a few videos showing how his large number of followers on UA-cam & Facebook are how they maintain a profit margin... just selling what they find doesn't make enough profit. Once in while they find a crazy, loaded locker & make a huge amount from resale, but, again, the ones with a huge following are going to make even more off that huge score through views/ads. In short, like you said you have to look a whole picture, not just the cool score. I sold antiques & collectibles for over 25 years and made a profit every year, but I had to pay attention to my time on the work & the balance sheet continously.
