Yay! Congratulations to you guys. You’ve had amazing progress with Maronda. I am praying ours picks up speed here. We signed July 2021 and the permit was issued December 28, 2021. We are awaiting for them to rehome the gopher tortoises on our lot before lot clearing and construction can begin. Looking forward to seeing the empty house tour.
Thanks again! and we sure did. If permit was issue in December, they should have had your concrete slab done. If not, hopefully they pick up speed soon 🤞🏾 congrats to you again as well, but once they have the permit it's pretty much down hill from there, everything should start flowing a little bit faster now. Also looking forward to sharing our open house tour, thanks for the support 💯🙏🏾
@CanVil thank you 😊 🙏🏾 and Adriana is the one that helped us as well, you're in good hands. You will live it here, it's pretty chill/quiet, great for raising kids for sure. Well congrats as well and good luck the rest of the way 💯🙌🏾
Congratulations to you guys. I’ve been following your journey for a few months now. My family and I also moved to PSL nine months ago and we just love the neighborhood and the friendliness of the people. Welcome and I wish you guys the best.
Thank you so much.. and congrats on your move as well and I can't wait to move and settle in and get to truly know the place, it really does seems very friendly and quiet which we like 😊
@@berriesrus7143 The coordination between the bank and the title company was not the greatest. I went back to NYC without keys to my house because I got my final closing amount the day before the closing and the title company sent their payment options that afternoon…not enough time. Because my bank is not located in Port St Lucie, my only option was to wire the money and the wire was completed after I left Florida.🙁
Oh ok, I understand. Must've been frustrating, glad they were able to get it right 🙌🏾 I heard wiring the funds is the best way, so we might look into that option.
Congrats guys! PSL is booming with new developments. Can't wait to find a home in that area one day. Your home is probably up a lot already and it's not even done yet.
@Jess Love that's a long time 🫤 but it seems as if they are almost done with your dream home, good luck and like you said fingers crossed, because some of these builders just be taking their sweet time 🤦🏾♂️
I cant understand maronda. I signed in February 28th 2021. My closing date is now set for March 23rd. Hopefully they don't move it. It's going on almost 13 months. But it's very close. Congrats and thank you for allowing us to follow your journey.
Oh dang! we started after you and closing before you 😳 not sure why, but maybe some areas takes a bit longer for code inspections and other things that need to be done. But I'm also glad you're also almost at the finish line as well, big thank you and congrats to you also🍾🎉
Congratulations to your new home.. I just signed a contract in October and am waiting for my home to be completed . Do you have an email address ? I would like to see if I could communicate with you about your experience with this home builders as now that I’ve seen some reviews online I’m a bit worried .
Same boat. We started September 4, 2021 and they cleared the lot but nothing else. We are still waiting on the survey to be approved. This seems like the longest wait ever. I don't think we would have went with Maronda if we knew this.
@Krystal Allen Damn 😳 since September 😧 that's not good, they usually do t take that long, but sorry to hear that, something else must be going on for it to take that long, I really you hear good news soon, so they can finish up your dream home 💯
We signed contract July 2021 for a build in North Port and our lot hasn't been cleared yet and we are halfway through October 2022. Permits were not issued until August 2022 which is 13 months after we signed our contract with Maronda.
@Jeff Baker, wow!!! The lot is not clear yet? Im speechless. Sorry to hear that, I'm not sure what the hood up is, but what time table did they give you? For us, they did tell us 1year from when we signed our contract, but the home was completed within 10months. That's a very long time to wait and seeing no progress, must be devastating. We were on their case every second to ask why and checking up, so they had no choice but to try and complete our house in a timely matter, but good luck with your home, hopefully they make some progress soon.
@@berriesrus7143 yep, lot hasn't been completed. No communication either unless we reach out. Not one time has Maronda reached out to us since signing the contract. We were told no longer than 14 months to completion originally, even in a rising price market. We have been renting a small room and paying $500.00 per month storage fees. We sold our house a couple months after signing the contract and timed everything based on what our sales person told us.
@Jeff Baker damn, that's ridiculous and professional of them, this has to be the worst one I've heard so far. I will be doing a review on them, we've had our issues with them as well. And I'm really sorry you are going thru this with Maronda
Yay wating for thw empty house tour! Can u believe they havent finish mine? And closing date is next thursday!!! I am so disappointed with maronda in cape coral
Ok 🙌🏾 not sure what's going on with them in those other areas 🤦🏾♂️ I really just think we were lucky to not have any crazy delays. I feel yuh pain, ours were pushed back for 2 weeks and it did not feel good, but just keep the faith 💯🙏🏾
Maronda Homes give you the run around. They take forever to build your home. Be careful make sure you are watching them build your home. They make many major mistakes. My friend is having a home built by them the home is a 5 bedroom home with 3 bathrooms. Plumber assume the home only had 2 bathrooms he plumed it for 2 and they poured the concrete slab. Then they had to break the concrete floor to fix the plumbing. My guess plumber didn't even bother to look at the plans, project manager is an idiot and the inspector who signed off on the plumbing is clueless aswell.
@Kool one, yeah I lot of people had bad experience with them, ours were a little smoother than most. But that must have been an nightmare for your friend 🤦🏾♂️ sounds like that project manager wasn't doing his/her job. Hope they were able to rectify issue with any major delays. We have a little small cosmetic issues to all get corrected and been here patiently waiting.
My friends are still waiting for there home to be built. They signed the contract on February 2021 and it's February 2023 and there only at the drywall stage. 2 years and there not going to be done fir another 2-3 months is ny guess.
@Berries R us yeah could not walk away from the equity. House basically has doubled in price in those 2 years. It would be dumb to walk away now and Maronda probably wants them to walk away so they can turn a profit.
@koolone3791 oh ok, that's very true. I totally understand, but more than likely that is what they are trying to do, but that's just bogus business man 🤦🏾♂️
@@berriesrus7143 i am too! Thank you very much. I drove by yesterday and found they have already framed the house & wrapped it! Happy New Year to you & your beautiful family as well! ✨

Awesome, How glad I am that they are about to close, we are still waiting, we signed since June 1, 2021 and 9 months later they have not started.
