So, if I understand it rightly : the DCC protocol is compatible with the vehicle's protocol sequence and all one has to do is connect the infra red transmitters with the DCC signal. Very clever of mister Viessmann to make the vehicle decoder's work with DCC.
Thank you for your video's, I am only just starting with Carmotion and want to try to drive them onto the "rolling road" cariages and use the infra red communication to stop them once they are on it.
@@Fromdownunder-dq6he Hello Downunder - greetings from the North 🇩🇰
Yes it is correct - the decoder in the car is a dcc decoder. I have made this little document that might help you 😊

My wife and I will visit Australia next month - 22/9 -> 18/10. Darwin - Alice Springs - Sydney - Adelaide - Melbourne. It will be our first visit to Australia and we look forward to it
Many regards Jens
@@jenskrogsgaard Good morning Jens, It is the right time of the year to visit downunder, before the heat. Darwin has its dry period, during our summer it is just humid up there. Interesting that you start in the hottest part of the country and work your way down. Melbourne has much the same climate as the mediterranean countries which we consider cooler.
I am curious about how you will like this big empty continent. One of my sons lives in Sydney, I live about 100 km East of Adelaide. One other son has an excellent (father's opinion) chocolate shop in Stirling close to Adelaide, called "Red Cacoa". It is probably listed in any tourist brochure. : -D .
Thank you for sending your information on how to connect to the DCC system. The trucks can be programmed like the locomotives ! Vielen Dank, Marcel.
@@Fromdownunder-dq6he thanks for your answer - right now I am on my way to birthday celebration at the local Modeltrain dealer. I have my CarMotion diorama with me - so I shall demo carmotion the whole day.
I am sure we will try to visit the chocolate shop near to Adelaide 😊😊😊
Lieber Jens,
Gerhard
Very good. Son I start my modelling
Hej Jens, Altidsjovt atse dine videoer.
Very good.
Hello, Jens,
Do the reed sensors always work without problems next to the 3 mm wide magnetic tape? I once read that the magnetic tape is said to be problematic in contrast to the wire because the distance to the magnet on the vehicle is too large, so it was recommended to place the contacts under the tape.
Yes the reed sensors work perfect - even they are placed next to the magnetic tape.
Hello Jens, thanks for the quick answer. I am currently using Rocrail in conjunction with a Märklin CS3 for my railway. In addition to the IR LED and reed contacts, do I need a booster or something else to control the vehicles?
greetings from Hannover
@@Mark-t3c8x A booster ? No - I do not this is necessary. The cars has a battery and the IR LED’s uses very little power 😊😊
Top 👍
Hej , hvor har du købt paintmarker henne ?
