It feels so weird looking at the Saturn version after playing the Genesis version for my whole life

I love the Earthworm Jim series. The levels are creative, the gameplay is tight, the puzzles are challenging and the music is superb.
I love the idea that Jim is the cows' hero. As in, he's the one that allowed one of their kind to explore the galaxy and colonize other planets, saving them from the oppression of mankind. You gotta love that.
this is just ficction, never gonna be true, the fantasy aways are funny, but reality is not fun.

Oh my God, that remix of 'Anything but Tangerines' is amazing. It sounds like a completely different level of music. This is a remix of a game's soundtrack that was actually done right.

I can't believe that the Puppy Love stages in the Sega Saturn doesn't have the 3D effect of the crow's house and the dog's house, like in the Mega Drive and the SNES!.

This is my favorite video game ever. None can compare.
You all can keep your Super Mario Bros. 3 and your Dragon's Quest VIII, or if your a no-nothing 6-year-old, your Fortnite and your Candy Crush.
Me? Give me Earthworm Jim 2 for the SEGA Saturn any dang day of the week...
Now if only the creator of this game (and series as a whole) wasn't such loathsome bigoted trash...But that's a topic for another day, and another video, for that matter...
I love the EWJ franchise and you can still enjoy the games even if you disagree with the creator as long as it's legal :)

Holy shit, at 31:00 in the game show segment there it is clear as day, the candy mountain song from Charlie the Unicorn.
I'm still not sure if that segment is great or bad. On one hand, the correct answers make no sense. On the other hand, neither do the wrong answers or the questions! It's the Anti Quiz Show!
I love this game more than the first. Great port, great fun.

Saturn and PlayStation versions are the definitive editions
One of my favourite games of all time had they used a 32meg cart instead of the 24meg one on the Mega Drive it would have been as good as this version.

This doesn't really challenge the Saturn in any way, but it does have a decent edge over the PlayStation version - depth to the background in Anything but Tangerines, a much superior vignette effect in Lorenzo's Soil/Villi People, cloud effects on The Flying King... though the background to Puppy Love glows a bit more on the PlayStation version. Make no mistake though - this isn't any more colourful than the (admittedly pretty) SNES version... and I always preferred the 16-bit version of Puppy Love.

I like how this game is obessecated for cows, i think it made me when child to love cows same form eh? I just like to sit near the cow's belly which is warm and confy, but i have no cows in farmhouse yet, so when i visit my country cousin i try to do that.
This ending is way better than SH dog ending 😂

Flyin King looks and sounds exactly the same as the Mega Drive version, but I do remember being very impressed with it back in the day

I don't know if it's my emulator, but Jim seems to have a hard time doing the snot swing since it's so precise
I get a chuckle in the Puppy Love stages when Jim says "Son of a--" when he misses a power-up.
