Nice to see some modding on these commanders. I don’t really see many lifted ones where I’m at. They look like Wrangler 4-doors without the larger fender flares round headlights.
Rough country recommends 265/70r/17 tires with the 2 inch lift. My question is will they rub ? I've seen some posts where people said they rubbed and they had to use 1.5 inch spacers . I have 09 commander and just had the 2 inch lift installed. Right now running stock tires
I put the same lift on my commander. I went with aftermarket wheels with a -9 offset and am running 265/65/17 Nitto Tera Grappler tires. I hated the stance of the stock tires, like being on pizza cutters.
The only issue I have is a very slight rub at full turn. That’s with the spacers and factory Wrangler Sahara wheels and tires. Did you have aftermarket wheels with a large offset? I put rubicon wheels with mt tires on it and it definitely has a different ride. My 2010 hasn’t had any lights on.
@@LoadMaster it was with the stock rims. I went with a 3/16 spacer to just to have the tires clear the ball joint stud. Drives so much nicer. I really should buy a set of rims with the right offset.
Definitely. With any automotive bolt, especially wheels. The nice part about the spidertrax wheel spacers is there isn’t enough room for the nuts to come completely off with the wheel on. Hopefully a person would notice a wheel wobble if that would ever happen.

Do you need to add spacers on the rear tires
What rims are these?

I been looking at 2" lifts for my commander. What brand did you use?
Rough country 2”
I had them with a 2" lift and ~31" MT tires. My Commander drove like a go cart and kept setting off the traction control going around turns.

What size tire do you run? I Just ordered the same thing a few days ago before seeing this.
Stock Wrangler Sahara wheels and tires.
But there is some rubbing. Ever after pinch weld fold.
I’m going to get one size down soon.
I have the same jeep exactly, what size tires you are running?
Ariel Masamey from what I can see...the tires are Nitto Tera Grappler, but cant see the size !
Does anyone know do you need 4 spacers? Or can you just put the pair on the front
You can put just front only on but, it will look different with the front wheels out and the rear tucked in.
just check the lugs after some driving time.

What sides are you tire's bro???
32s on factory wrangler Sahara wheels now. They have a slight rub at full turn. It’s only on the plastic.
Need bigger tires bud
It now has a set of Wrangler Sahara wheels and tires for daily driving. I also have a set of rubicon wheels and tires that I put on sometimes.
