    Welcome to World of Rock Hounds!
    Today, We are unboxing a National Geographic Fossil Shark Tooth Dig Kit and exposing the shark teeth that are inside the digging brick.
    This video is NOT sponsored. I did this because I thought it would be fun and informative for parents to know what to expect with these kits.
    I'm definitely impressed.

    Bought our Grandson a fossil kit and we enjoyed going through it... The cost was worth the excitement he got doing this with Grandpa..

      I'm not sure if the Michael's down the street from me carries it, we got this a few towns North. I'll have to poke my head into the store this weekend!

      It's hard to contain myself, I wanted to release them all same day but I wanted to make sure the videos had time to "breathe".

    Thanks for this video, I have a couple of grand kids who I think would get a kick out of this pack as part of a birthday or Christmas present.
    I have seen other “fossil” packs as. well as “gem” packs and wondered if it would be worthwhile. After seeing the video I would certainly consider buying these packs for my grandkids, thank you. Might even think about one for “pa” 😜👍.

      I've seen few people have found shark teeth on the Oregon coast, I have not been that lucky!
      And I almost didn't read the directions but I felt it was a smart move for the Nat-Geo kits so parents know :)

      Sometimes I won't if it's straight forward but when it comes to building, it's a 100% must! 🙂
      (I'm also glad I did for the fossil kit - putting it in the water helped soften the material a little bit)

    Now I have to go out and get one of these. I bought the geode one. It was ok I received two in the box. One wes nice lots of clear crystals the other one was a solid. I thought it was expensive. I paid $16.00 for it at Hobby Lobby. I wanted to see what type of geodes were in the box. It is nice to try new things. These boxes are not just fun for kids but for adults to.

    I have been eyeballing these kits for a while. I'm going to get one to do with my granddaughter. We homeschool so we can actually play with this and call it a science experiment. We can do some extra research and find out about the sharks that go with these teeth. Thanks so much for doing this little dig for us. I'm excited now!

    I collect animals bones and skulls I find in the woods and like crystals and fossils and stuff so this will be perfect, I got one today. Only sad thing is I got a off brand kit from dollar tree and said it has shark tooth and fossils and they were all fake and the shark tooth was plastic :,) so these are real right?

    • @WorldofRockhounds
      @WorldofRockhounds  Рік тому

      OH NO! I would definitely go with the NAT GEO kits - You can even find them on Amazon and sometimes on sale. The teeth in these kit are legit. There are some kits out there where it says "TRex Tooth" but it should say "replica" somewhere on the box to avoid false advertisement.
