Seriously suggesting to anyone considering sliding seat rowing (which is very efficient) to take a lesson especially if you can find a college coach. There is some technique involved. You don’t want to sit up too soon or bend your arms too soon, or you will strain your back. Also thumbs over the ends of the grips.
Rick, she looks like a fine boat, but, due to my inability to hear what you are saying, something like half the time, I didn’t learn much about her, or how you use her, which left me, after watching, with a sour taste in my mouth.

Have to agree with you Chris, my first attempt at a talking video. If I do it again have to be aware of wind noise and facing the camera.
