Ohhh God! The first 3 minutes of this video has already spiked my BP! LOL!!! One more time: If you want to be treated like a King, then treat your wife like a Queen.
I was married a year, dated 6 years before, when I had our first child. My MIL was saying SHE'D raise our daughter because we were "too young" Hello both of us had a Bachelors Degrees, lived in our own home. I was 2 days shy of my 26th Birthday and my husband was 28. Thank GOD MIL understood quickly I'd NEVER let that happen. I would NEVER try and take my grandkids! Not unless they were in danger and they're not in danger.
My mother demanded several times that I give my oldest son to her. At one point she even threatened to turn me in CPS if I didn’t abide her wishes. She still doesn’t understand why I want nothing to do with her. And honestly, that wasn’t even the worst thing that she did to me. Some people are just really crazy and you can’t fix it. I’m glad your MIL got the message right away. Parents used to support their children by helping them learn to care for their infants. But for some reason, some parents think it’s their opportunity for a second chance to raise their kids. I’m a grandmother myself now. Although I love having my grand babies, I’m just as happy to send them back home! 😂
I'm so glad Florence got away from those crazy people. If it had been me, as soon as they pulled the making me move against my will card; there would have been a divorce right there.
My thoughts exactly. Any move to invalidate my independence as a person, divorce. Even if they apologised, the fact they thought it and then expressed it meant its irreversible
Same. Or, if not divorce, at least me moving into MY OWN PLACE. I'd rather live in my car than move in with THAT WOMAN, who not only ignores everything I say, and outright disrespects me, but also tells me that I have to do ALL the household chores, because I am THE WIFE. I suppose that she did it all, as THE WIFE, until her son married, and then she became THE MOTHER, and no longer had to lift a finger for herself OR her husband OR her son. Disgusting. Yep, I would have told my boss, "We're having a crisis at home! Sorry, but I have to leave NOW." Then, I would have joined my husband and mother-in-law in packing, and then quickly put all MY stuff in my car, and drove away, telling them, "I feel better driving my own things, by myself. You can't always trust the moving vans, you know? See ya!" Then, after I got my car unloaded at a storage facility, I would call my husband and tell him, "I'm making alternate arrangements, until I can find a small apartment for myself. I don't need much, but I DO NEED RESPECT. In fact, I DEMAND IT. So, you choose. Either give up this nonsense about me living with that woman and taking over all the household chores, or sign the divorce papers. It's your choice. You have three days. I should find a place of my own by then. Or, WE can find a NEW place, close to MY job, and YOU can get a NEW job, away from THAT WOMAN. It's all on you, Harry. Make your choice, and make it soon, because if I don't hear from you in three days, I'll go for the divorce and my own place. That is all. Goodbye."
I love the revenge and comeuppance of these stories. This one was particularly satisfying, with the super entitled mother being completely unraveled at the end.
@@MsGbergh That, and if I didn't know better, I'd say that they were just trying to super size their greed by having some kind of marriage ties to a politician's family. I'm still unsure how this MiL didn't know that she and her son lost their rights to the grandchild after 3 months. Like, what the heck was she doing that warranted that long of her attention before remembering the grandchild. That's what I take from this story at least; a greedy family brought up by MiL prejudice and desire for an heir all blown up in their face just because the son divorced and signed all legal stuff, including the kid, to his ex.
Oh that was satisfying, especially the mother groveling at the end. I can never understand how someone can screw someone they know over and then try to intimidate or manipulate them to fix the problems they've caused.
Harry and his family don’t seem to understand that Florence (and her baby once they grow up) has her own thoughts and feelings, and can’t shove them into the roles they want
She had her own thoughts and feelings? Where were they? All I heard was enabling a psycho, her doormat son and whining. I thought she had an IQ of a lamp post. Would YOU be a slave to a lunatic while your husband screws around during YOUr pregnancy?? Nobody sane does that.
Do people still really expect a wife to quit work and become a housewife looking after the husbands family? Ugh! As soon as someone suggested that to me, I'd be divorcing the husband. Not a chance I'd remain a part of THAT family!
In certain cultures that is indeed the expected role of the son’s wife. Not doing so would bring great shame to the family. The husband can divorce her if his parents are not “pleased” with her and she would be completely ostracized by the community. She would then not be considered marriage material. A divorced woman is a pariah even if she divorced an abusive husband. What’s worse is that unless the husband agrees to it, she could not even get a divorced. Some of these stories do seem to be from those cultures.
Yikes! Karma was merciless towards this psychotic and deluted family! They were living in their own world, forced the DIL to live in said world, but they provided the means for her and her son to escape and now, they're screwed, badly!! Heh, serves them right! Also, may I add when Rose asked where she made a mistake, I was like, um....where do I even start? Perhaps we should start at the very beginning.
19:46 Did Rose seriously ask Florence to cook the books? That can get Florence charged with Fraud, Tampering With Evidence, Obstruction Of An Investigation, and Obstruction Of Justice and at least she was smart enough to not attempt it.
She should never have moved in the first place. She should have packed her things that they stole from her home and never moved. The fact that she's even entertaining these conversations is ridiculous with that ridiculous husband of hers and those crazy in laws.
“What do you think?” “I think we should listen to my mom.” The mom was a dictator, she put in DIL resignation, force her to move into and clean the in-laws house and give them an heir and take the baby from her. And then have some side chick raise him as her own. I know this is a story but how do ppl hide who they really are after marriage?
@heatheraucoin5832 probably a mix of weed and blue stuff lol. Joking aside, I have no idea just how these crazy people, like this MIL, can even cope with karma when it hits them, or even miss the point that all actions have equal and opposite reactions. Case in point; she got the desired divorce of her son and the OP DIL, *BUT* lost all her wealth and power at the cost of that divorce. The divorce being the equal reaction while the loss of money and power was the opposite reaction. Still, as I said; I just don't understand how these people think without the currency of consequences. And I don't think I'd ever will with how increasingly erratic they seem to get, both in stories and in the actual world, with how we see things nowadays.
I 'd have filed for divorce the minute she said she was packing my stuff to move! There is NO WAY I'd have gone with them! I'd have called the cops if they tried to set foot out of the house with my stuff! Edited to add: And since when do companies take resignations from family members? That's a lawsuit waiting to happen!
I suspect that is why her boss met with her. It was probably somewhere between "I can't believe you didn't tell me this yourself," and "um, apparently your mother in law is crazy." At least to start, probably just the latter once it was clear Op didn't intend to resign.
I guess that's why she was asking, "What's this I hear about you trying to quit on my behalf?" Clearly, the company did NOT take the notice as official, since she kept her job. But they obviously talked to her about how "unprofessional" she was, to send her MIL to do the resigning for her, only to be told, "I NEVER wanted to quit the job. She did that without even speaking to me! I am definitely NOT quitting!"
Gotta love these entitled MILs that say "it is the wife's job" and expect the DIL to everything for all of them...uh hey MIL, aren't YOU a wife too? Doesn't that make it YOUR job too? Lmao. Thankfully my MIL was never like the bad ones on here.
I thought my mil was pretty bad but she at least did not expect me to do her housework until she was really too sick. She did keep me busy running around since she didn’t drive.

I like it better when the husband stands up to the toxic family and cleaves to his wife. Another twist would be the ex husband does things right and as a side effect wins his wife back; no begging involved.
The entitlement level from Rose is wtf is wrong her level. So excruciating! I wouldn't deal with that family's dirty shenanigans. Not. For. One. Second!!!!!
Not all of them. Here in the last few decades, there’s plenty of abusive husbands willing to sit at home while the wife works. And if you live in a no-fault divorce state, she can be forced pay him alimony. Plus he’ll get the house the car and the kids. Then she’ll have to pay him child support on top of it. Evidence of abuse is irrelevant in a no-fault state. It’s an absolute nightmare.
That's why in the US, the "Christian" Republicans now want to moniter the menstrual periods of every woman in their state, in addition to giving life imprisonment to every woman who miscarries!
Great story. I really like it when crazy MILs get what’s coming to them. I’m glad Florence and her son got away from them but I personally wouldn’t have waited so long.

Would've eventually said she let her self go and try to toss her out because she was being run ragged and the constant stress and exhaustion took its toll over the years.
unfortunatly many states if you're pregnant or even suspect you are they won't let the divorce go through until after the baby's born due to the whole presumed father thing(which means if kid was from an affair real dad has to usually sue to get on his kid's birth cert or any rights)
These stories almost always end with "How could you do this to me?". People not quite realizing that their downfall is of their own making and that life choices are of their own making. Cue crocodile tears and that old song, "We're Faaaamily".
You can say that again. It like " hey you you got to help me. Sure I have cause you nothing but grieve. Gone out of my way to hurt you for my amusement. Put my need above your and did my best ruin you life. But in in trouble so you gotta help me. I mean we family so course you'll ignore all I did and help cause you good. I mean I would do the same for you so why not help me now."
It’s amazing how the antagonists in these stories are the same two dimension selfish characters with different names. It’s like the creators are too lazy to write a story with depth.
Different culture with different attitudes. These stories are not written for western audiences. They have been poorly adapted so it seems unrealistic on many levels for a western audience.
Don't argue, don't negotiate, just say no. But then the stories would be a lot shorter. This is the first time I ever heard of someone going broke while money laundering.
They would be left out in my house if they didn't like leftovers. I try to cook enough to last at least 2 meals (if it's something that will reheat nicely) because I don't like to cook. Sometimes I'll cook 2 and put 1 in the freezer for a quick meal later.
And you need to understand that it pays to pay attention. The company didn't immediately accept the resignation letter, they had a meeting with the employee to confirm the MIL's claims. Florence was still working there 3 months later.
On one hand it's admirable that all the people in these videos who have been treated badly are still able to keep their cool, but on the other I still at times really wish one of them would be petty and say "From the bottom of my heart, you deserve this, and I'm thrilled that it's happening." when their ex or relatives call them begging for help.
Florence needed to put a stop to this the moment her spineless husband tried to convince her to move. Also, why marry someone who doesn't know how to cook basic things?
No company would accept a letter of resignation from anyone except the person resigning. Little bit out of reality on this one. I wouldn’t of moved to begin with. If my wife made these kind of decisions without me. She wouldn’t be my wife much longer after that. I don’t or wouldn’t do it to her and I’d expect her to give me the same amount of respect back.
Crazy story. Resignation must be handed over in person, followed by an interview. If i can type resignation papers for all my colleagues, what happens? All of them "resign"? It does not work that way. Who typed this post? A 12-year old?
"ROSE! WHAT THE HELL! You were like a hardcore feminist when you were younger, what happened?" 😧 (notices the overworked daughter-in-law) "Oh...I see..." 😠
The fact that Harry went along with his mother's plan is terrifying. That was a red flag. People who change after marriage are terrifying. This is why women shouldn't be in a hurry to become housewives. You never know when you will need money to escape an abusive situation. I would have made arrangements with the landlord to continue to stay there even if it had to be a different apartment or get a hotel room until I could find another apartment. Oh no! Flo is pregnant for Harry. Not great news at all. I know she wants to make it work with her husband and in-laws. I don't know why, but she can say she tried with no regrets except the regret of she should have left earlier. It's not a wife's responsibility to take care of the in-laws' house. Mil is the wife of HER house. She should have been the one to make sure it's clean, etc. I was more upset that Florence actually wanted to stay with the abusive in-laws. Normally the wife is turning cartwheels at being given a divorce from abusive husbands and parents-in-law. That's the first decent and smart thing Harry has done for Florence since marriage. How would Florence fix this? cooking the books would have put them in more trouble.
Ohhh God! The first 3 minutes of this video has already spiked my BP! LOL!!!

The heir to the family business is about to find out how child support works.
MIL: Hurry up and come back so you can get out!
30 seconds into the convo I would brought up divorce
First time w laundry in the background. Very nice.
Run from that toxic family girl.
I wouldn't go and if they took my things I'd call police
Don't argue, don't negotiate, just say no.
But then the stories would be a lot shorter.
This is the first time I ever heard of someone going broke while money laundering.
These men think they know everything just because mommy says, they'll end up single for the rest of their lives if they carry on like this
"Respectable politicians". Jumped the shark.
And why tf doesn't anyone like eating leftovers or reheating food lol
They're assholes, leftovers are good
I love leftovers. Making something that lasts for more than 1 meal is a much better value! It's also a LOT easier on the cook!
They don’t like how the DIL got out of cooking duty
Honestly it's because leftovers generally tastes completely different especially reheated from fresh
They would be left out in my house if they didn't like leftovers. I try to cook enough to last at least 2 meals (if it's something that will reheat nicely) because I don't like to cook. Sometimes I'll cook 2 and put 1 in the freezer for a quick meal later.
Leave my husband? Your husband or my son.
Thanks for the video. Lol. Loved this one. Nice ending. Have a good evening
Harry can't force his wife to move into the in laws house. She doesn't have to listen to them. She isn't a slave. I would divorce him right away.
Good God and Goddess, did Rose really try to get Florence to cook the books?! Damn, the whole family is nuts!
Whoever writes these stories needs to understand no company would accept a resignation from a family member.
And you need to understand that it pays to pay attention. The company didn't immediately accept the resignation letter, they had a meeting with the employee to confirm the MIL's claims. Florence was still working there 3 months later.
Addictive, but they are pretty badly written.
@@catmaxwell6691 Watch the video again. The company didn't accept the letter from the MIL.
Not all the stories are based in the US
Obviously the company didn't accept it, as she continued to work.
“SOMEONE HELP US, PLEASE!” 😂
The sorrow of the damned.
Is it just me, or does the term respectable politician sound like an oxymoron?
Nah, there are respectable politicians. It's just that they're rare.
@@kitsumekat You ain't just whistling Dixie.
That family is both veil and horrible it’s a good thing that Florence got divorce and got away from that terrible family
Respectable politicians? It is to laugh! 😂😂😂
I know, right!
“YOU’RE THE WIFE. IT’S NOT YOUR PLACE.” If that is so, then why is Rose talking? Her husband should be handling everything. JS
Good evening everyone from Kentucky 🤗🥰. I super late better late than never. I hope everyone's Sunday and weekend went very well ❤️
It's been over 10 months. Time to leave Harry with his mommy.
Heirs? Do they think they are royalty?
They think they are high class instead of the Snobby entitled people they are.
Mother in laws like this don't seem to know their place, they go on like they are the scorned lover
Shouldn't they all be in jail. Us mere mortals would be.
How did it get to the three months later point? Why did she not get out instantly after talking to MIL.
Because "instantly" is far too short a time to do what is necessary to get out of a situation like that.
iText pro just sent me a notification. See y'all after this one 😅
Whoo! Go Florence!
It's a fictional story.
how the hell did this chick marry this aweful man i would have devorced him first thing this kind of stuff started happening
These stories are incredible..love the voice changes....going to watch every video..thankyou
Hey everyone 👋 Enjoy the rest of your day 🤗
From Louisiana 🐊
You as well….. from Western Colorado. 👋❄️⛷
Who else is imagining all the chaos that the family is suffering?
"Respectable politicians"
Yeah. There's an oxymoron!
19:58 I’d be screenshooting that and reporting ex-MIL for attempting to recruit me to cook the books.
Pay the child support in full, since the child still baby age, how much it should be?
This family is unhinged! Florence will be better off!
"ROSE! WHAT THE HELL! You were like a hardcore feminist when you were younger, what happened?" 😧
(notices the overworked daughter-in-law)
"Oh...I see..." 😠
The fact that Harry went along with his mother's plan is terrifying.
If it's the wife' job to do all the house chores why isn't MIL doing them? It's her house. She's the lazy one.
Surely the husband will have shown signs like this before marriage
No mention of MIL turning in a resignation for the wife?
