This is very informative. Had I known this earlier, I would've applied for this program. Hehe! ECTS in other Master's Degree at Universidad de Alcala is 60 to 120 units, depending on the program. So looking at it, baka legit naman yung completion of 60 ECTS as an actual MA degree that can be used in the Philippines or in other countries also. Thank you, Anina and Timothy.
The applications will open again in a couple of months. 😊
I saw a video on tiktok that i should prepare 10k usd for initial expenses. How true? How much should i bring as “pocket” money
Hi, Tim. Do you still remember what you did for medical? I'm currently in the province, and they don't know about the Spain package
Hi! If you join the Filipino Auxiliar group on Facebook, they posted a list for medical. ☺️
@@aninagabrielle Thanks so much, Anina. Appreciate you ❤️
hello, may i know if instuto frankin provided their own lawyer for the appeal or do they have to pay for the service?
@@levie4025 Before they provided one but I’m not knowledgeable na if they still do that.
Hello, do you think it's doable if I have a full time remote work 3pm-12am Madrid time?
@@paulamarizbarcenas5313 Hello! Most schools finish at 4/4:30PM so it depends on the flexibility of your remote job and if you won’t do private classes after school hours.
@@aninagabrielle even if I choose the Option B? I thought that only required 16hrs/week po?
@@paulamarizbarcenas5313 It will depend on how the school will organise your weekly schedule. Some schools stretch it out or some will give you a day off / half day / early out at the end of the week for university classes ☺️ but most schools finish around that time talaga
@@aninagabrielle I see. Thank you! I guess I would have to mention it na lang to IF or to the school upfront although I'm not sure if they give considrations. 😅
Hola! Thanks for this vid, super helpful. :) I just have one question po. Is it the LA's job with Instituto Franklin to check/grade students' work (for example po essays), or no need naman maguwi ng checkables since it's the main teacher's duty? :) I'm eyeing kasi yung Option A nila, kaso baka since sa private school ilalagay, baka ipaggrade ng outputs ng kids 😅
Thank you! :)
Hello! So sorry for the late reply but as far as I know we are not allowed to do those things.
thanks for the response, @@aninagabrielle :) hope to see you in Madrid!
Hindi ko namukhaan.. si Tim pla... tumaba ka na.. nahiyang ka sa Spain or galing magalaga ni Anina? ayiieee 🥰🥰🥰.. good job Anina.. 👋👋👋
HAHAHA! Ang funny po tita. Alagaan ko rin po si tetay 😂😂😂

@@sylviamagno19 Sige po tita hehehe ingat din po kayo diyan 😍🌸
Hello po! I hope you’ll still see this😅 I have questions po:
1. So if di sya boo na master’s degree, like yun lang ba yun or pwede pa sya ma continue para ma full master’s? Will it still be honored in Philippines?
2. Im really curious about the step by step process on how to apply but I think that’s a lot.
3. What are their requirements to accept an applicant po? And like what could give an edge?
Hello! If I remember correctly, half siya ng full masters na units. You can check which schools in the Philippines accept and convert ECTS (european credit) in their school. They have a thorough process and requirements on their website. As for the advantage, I’m not really sure kasi they change the requirements from time to time. ☺️
Hi! Thanks so much for the video! ☺️ i was wondering, if I'm an auxiliar under the Ministry, is it possibly to apply to the Instituto Franklin program when the Ministry program ends? Or bawal po ganon? Thank you!! ☺️
hello! pwede po, sorry super late reply hindi nag notif
Hi, is this road to permanent residency po after 2 years in Spain for Teach and Learn Program?
@@teachermary2062 Hello! No po since student visa lang to you will have to acquire a different type of visa.
Hi, Anina and Tim! Can you pls make more vid about the Teach and Learn Program? Thank youuu
Hello! We stopped making videos about it because he finished his MA program. Do you have any questions that we weren’t able to answer?
@@aninagabrielle Hi Anina! What does his second year look like?
@@captstef Hello! During his second year, he was still in the Ministry through Teach and Learn program. So the usual auxiliar work without the classes in Alcala. ☺️
@@aninagabrielle Ohhhh. Thank you, Anina! ☺️
Hola! Hi sorry just wanna ask
For option B is it enough for 1000 stipend to be spent in a month for expenses and bills or it can cover your tfee too? Thanks again
Hello! Unless super cheap ng rent at matipid, feel ko hindi kaya especially if kasama tuition fee. Usually they do private classes to make up for it.
Hi thank you this really helps me to gauge everything! But hm sorry I have one other q snce for Instituto theyre rquiring to pay for the reg fee and its non refundable how do we really know that Ill get accepted to the program i mean what are the chances since 150 usd still 150 huhu thanks again for your response ❤
hola!
Questions lang po..😅
1. Do you have to buy your own teaching materials when teaching as an LA ? Is it easy/affordable to buy teaching materials for your private tutoring?
2. Do you have time to travel to neighbouring EU countries while in the MA program?
3. Do you have to be boosted before being able to enter Spain now?
Mil gracias 😘
1. Most schools will let you use the materials they have. As for private classes, I recommend you to bring some materials from the Philippines like flashcards and educational games because they don’t have something like “national bookstore” here. I think it’s also cheaper in shopee/lazada.
2. Yes, I think so. We have a long Christmas/Winter Break, we have a lot of long weekends, plus spring/easter break. It will depend on your time management I guess.
3. I’m not sure about this one, but I don’t think so.
Hello po, I tried applying online, and its asking me to pay 150 euros to complete my application online. 😢
Hello, yes may fee talaga siya :(
Hi Tim, confirm ko sana if I chose option c, mag-issue rin ba sila nang certificate so I can apply for student visa and may insurance package din sila. Thanks kindly.
Hello! Not sure kung may ganon sila sa option C, mostly about A and B lang alam namin. So sorry!
Hi. I’d like to ask questions about the TOR requirement and do they ask for the original copy
Hello! Yes they do daw
Hi! I have a bunch of questions po. Ano rin po process and timeline niyo before kayo nakarating (when po kayo naaccept sa program, kelan po kayo nakaalis, when po start ng program)? Are you teaching on your second year po? Thank you!
Hello! Are you asking about the Teach and Learn Program or the Auxiliar de conversacion under the Ministry?
If both, or either of the two, I posted lot of detailed and informative videos about the programs, you can check them out. ☺️
Oh! Sorry di po naspecify. Sa Franklin Institute po. The teach and Learn Program.
January to March ang application period (for school year 2022-2023 ang application period is Jan 12, 2022 to March 15, 2022). May interview and then after nun is paperworks, they will guide you naman.
You will receive your carta (kung saan ka magtuturo) around last week of June to July. Tapos makakapag process ka visa late July to early Aug. Depende kung kailan entry date mo sa visa, makakapunta ka ng Spain around late September.
Start ng program (MA) is first week of Oct. Same week you will start teaching. End of program (MA) is end of June. 😊
@@timothyasinas2680 just wanted to come back to this to say thank you for your response! This was one of the few videos about the program and it helped a lot! I applied and got accepted po. Hopefully will be in Spain in Sept. 2022!

Hi! Are your classes in the MA program in English? And is it required to know how to speak/write in Spanish?
Hi! In Instituto Franklin, it depends on what program you'll choose. For Master's in Teaching, all courses are in English. Other programs may have courses taught in Spanish. They'll inform you right from the start if your chosen program contains Spanish courses. No, it's not a requirement to write or speak Spanish. Hope that helps! 😁
@@timothyasinas2680 Thank you so much for the info! Would you also know if they have admissions or accept new applicants mid school year? Like this coming January/February?
Love the videos btw! Super informative!
@@mmmmaarj I don't think they accept new students/applicants mid school year. But their applications for the next school year (2022-2023) should start around February next year (I applied around Feb). Thank you for watching!
@@timothyasinas2680 Got it! Thank you so much! Looking forward to more videos!
Hi, did they mention the reason behind rejecting your visa application? Thank youuu
Hello! They give you a letter stating their reasons.
How about the interview is it hard?
Hi tumatanggap po ba sila kahit sa ibang school ka nag study or may mga partner school sila?
For Instiuto Franklin, wala po silang partner schools. Kahit saan po nag aral. Yung sa Ministry po yung may partner schools. Pag nag open to general public, pwede po kahit sino mag apply regardless of school.
Nice!
parang galit ka ata HAHAHAHAHAHA
Hi! Can I ask if upon applying do I need to pay agad? or pag naapprove an after applying ung payment? Thank you
As far as I know you need to pay 100€ upon registration! They might have changed it tho, you can check their website. 😁
Hi! How was he able to get private tutor sessions? And how much yung pay for it? :)
Hello! Students from his school, the average pay in Madrid is supposed to be 20€ but it can vary depending on time and what kind of class
Shoot yer questions!

U are really a kindf hearted person for taking pain to reply all my queries one last thinga among ttmadrid, Canterbury English, alcala which program is better are the other two program authentic as ttmadrid claim assistant in work permit for English language teachers which program allow you to be as language teacher for longer period of time I mean may be 4 or 5 years is it possible kindly assist.
@@ketansingh5942 Hi! We don’t have experience with Canterbury English and we just heard of it recently so we wouldn’t know. As stated in the video, doing the Teach and Learn Program is a good option as well. From what I know, all the language assistant programs are under student visa not a work permit. Each program has a limit as to how many times you can renew. If you are looking for a program, I suggest you join the Auxiliar groups in Facebook. They have detailed explanations from different assistants.
@@aninagabrielle I really respect your precious reply. The one thing I need to know under this program I mean alcela for how long you can manage to renew your contract
Hi! Can I ask how much did you show as proof of funds and is tuition included in it?
May requirement po ba for grades? Medjo mababa po grades ko sa college/BA 😢
Minimum 3.0 GPA sa pag kakalaam ko ☺️
For Tim: how long after appeal submission before they notified you of the results?
A week and a half including weekends 😊
@@aninagabrielle Hi did Tim apply in Ph or in Spain?:)
@@talesandtails24 In PH!
@@aninagabrielle thank you for the quick reply. Sorry to ask again - how true Anina that if you choose option A - most likely madedeny daw ang Visa? I think the Visa app is the hardest part in this journey 😅🙏🏻 God bless 😊
@@talesandtails24 I’m not sure which option were they referring to, I’ll ask Tim! But someone from IF suggested to take the other option para mas ok sa visa. I’m not sure if it’s A or B! I’ll get back to you. Also, that was 2020 pa so not sure if ganon pa rin ngayon.
Hi is Instituto Franklin strict when it comes to gwa during application? Thank you and stay safe!
Hey, I’ll reply get back to you asap!
Hello again! I asked Tim and he thinks that they do considerate it but he’s not sure how important it is. I think they have a range of the gwa that they need for the application (I’m not sure about this too)

@@shirt-on7432 If you are applying for the Teach and Learn Program, you have to enroll for the MA program then it will depend on which option will they offer you (they will give you a school placement) Maybe you can check out their website. It’s different for the Auxiliar Program under the Ministry
@@aninagabrielle thank you so much!!
Under this program for how long can you teach in Spain
You can teach up to 2 years in this program then if you still want to teach in Spain, you can transfer to another program.
@@timothyasinas2680 but I have been through the official website it says 1 year only
@@ketansingh5942 the program (the time you're studying) itself is only for 1 year but you can renew you role as a language assistant for a second year. This is assuming it's your first year of teaching in Spain.
Hello is this internship program?
Hello! It depends on the option you choose but its like internship while studying MA (up to a certain number of units). Did I answer your question correctly?
What is the difference in option AB and C? Just the fee? Which one is better?
Hello!
Here are the basic differences:
Option A: You work in a semi-private school receiving a monthly stipend of 800 or less. However, you don't pay the tuition. I hear that you also work more hours and a heavier workload.
Option B: You work at a public school with a 1000 stipend but you will pay the complete tuition fee.
Option C: You must already be placed in a school under a different program. Basically, you're just enrolling to study.
You can visit their website for more information!
Mahirap ba maka pasok for masters?
Hindi naman daw po

I saw a video on tiktok that i should prepare 10k usd for initial expenses. How true? How much should i bring as “pocket” money
Hello! What do you mean by initial expenses? Teach and Learn application fees, visa requirements, and tuition?
@@aninagabrielle like the money you need to have for daily expense food transport etc before you start getting the stipend
Someone said on tiktok 10k usd to let you survive til your stipend arrives. That’s too much tho
@@MikiSantiago-r4s Oh, 10k usd just for pocket money is too much. 1,000 - 1,500 euros for your first month will be enough.
