Diesel Vanagon Project

this is an introductory video into my new to me diesel vanagan project. it has a 1.6 l in a diesel engine and is a 1982 model year. I'll be doing some refresh work and getting this thing on the road to enjoy. follow along and hit me with comments if you have any questions and I can expand on those in future videos.

Hie my brother.i own one vanagon.but its a 2.3 5 cyl 1997 model.it a petrol engine.🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦❤❤❤

dropping an AAZ in makes these pretty fun. pretty much bolt and go, but you'll want a DK transaxle from an aircooled vanagon since they have the tallest gears from the factory. tin top should get 30mpg with the turbo, my full westy AAZ/DK combo got like 26mpg with 215/75r15 all terrains. fun stuff
