I'm watching "Hacks." It is great. What struck me about this interview, is that on the one hand, she was clearly putting on an act, even a bit of a shtick, yet she was simultaneously incredibly genuine. Color me impressed.
Props to you for noticing that. Jon loves to throw in these little easter eggs for people or maybe for his own amusement. My favorites are when he does renditions of video game music, like when he did the Green Hill Zone from Sonic.
I have neither seen this show nor heard of this person, but this was one of the most genuinely enjoyable interviews I've watched in a long time. Will definitely be seeking out her stuff.
She and the incredible Jean Smart are the best comedy duo on TV right now. Love that show, watched it twice already and will be watching it again with a friend coming for a visit. Also, Hannah is the daughter of SNL legend Laraine Newman!
Wow! I need to watch Hacks. She played that scene perfectly. I was mesmerized by her performance. Opposite Jean Smart as well. Hannah is going to be huge. Edit: I wrote this before watching the interview. I think I love this person. The quick, dry sense of humour is my favourite kind. The self deprecation is also right up there. The rhythm, the timing, the words. The words are very important. I feel like she could continue to give these sort of answers, that were almost little improv moments which never really answered the questions and I would remain enthralled by her performance. Stephen was me. Watching an amazing new talent do her thing. I love this person.
Hacks was a brilliant show. I can't wait for the 2nd series. Hannah is a truly fine comedian, and I would not have known about her if not for the recommendation of Conan O'Brien!
Just watched Hacks, had to come back and re-watch this interview, and the original appearance....Hannah Einbinder is an original, so glad I know this...will be watching everything she's involved in. Always loved Jean Smart too, and can't wait for S2.
I hadn't started watching it yet, but was really intrigued just from the trailer alone. I wish that they would've put a spoiler alert in the title of this video! I wouldn't have watched it because now I know that there's an up-coming kiss between them. This ruins it for me. How do I begin watching, with anticipation, already knowing one of the outcomes?
The gift of a nice pair of socks is my favorite...every few years I ask my family for one pair of wool socks... I wear mine year round, I spend time in a cooler at work. My feet are warm, so I don't get cranky. Positive vibes from New Hampshire and remember to be kind to each other and yourself
DO mechanics that work on lesbian's cars dress differently? WHY would a mechanic dress differently if they had customers that were lesbian? The joke makes no sense, comedic, or otherwise...
@@daxxonjabiru428 Since the comment leading to Stephen‘s remake was her saying, “I was just a boy, then,” bar mitzvah is a better choice for humor from Stephen.
@@MrSpade5150 Um, pansexual is a valid identity. Most people take "bi" to mean "I'm attracted to my own gender and other genders" nowadays, whereas "pan" is more like "gender is entirely unimportant when I'm looking for someone to date".

Damn she was on fire this whole interview. So funny. Love her.
alex falcone is also a stand up comedias so that is 2 stand up comedians
When she said: “Oh you stop!!!” I could see Jean right there, she’s amazing! 😀
I died on "Rachel Maddow's mechanic"
I teared up when he gave her the socks. Now she can be free.
I'm always fooled into thinking it's a genuine conversation but Steven presenting the socks snapped me back into rehearsed reality.
Oof!
Awww! Free Dobby! Free Anna!
That was a masterclass! What fun to watch. What poise and comedic timing, that was a beautiful dance.
O.K. ... She's *brilliant* ... Now to find time to watch the show
I'm watching "Hacks." It is great. What struck me about this interview, is that on the one hand, she was clearly putting on an act, even a bit of a shtick, yet she was simultaneously incredibly genuine. Color me impressed.
Yeah I think she just is a reincarnated old Hollywood leading man just trying to act normal
Pass the crayola. Color me. Impressed. As well. Gregg Oreo long beach ca
The champagne and socks!!! That brought tears to my eyes! Stephen is like the uncle that just gets you, when your parents never did.
Hi
She is amazing and her chemistry with Jean is off the charts!
I ship them
Ha, Jon Batiste playing "Who's That Lady" after Stephen forgot Hannah had already been on the show. Well played Jon
Hahaha! Levels

Her set from the Late Show last year is amazing.
She was on Conan O'Brien's podcast this week,it was such a great episode.
it's a fantastic show!
Make sure you watch Hacks! It’s just this for 10 episodes straight.

She had to mention the most important part of the show, the kiss. Excellent choice, miss Einbinder.
Getting so many “Dana Scully” vibes from her look, I LOVE it!!!

I think I would pay to watch her dinner conversations. What a talent.
Just finished the show, it's fucking amazing. Everyone should check it out. Hoping for a second season.
It's been renewed for a second season :)
I totally agree!!

she’s fantastic! if this is her in her mid twenties i can’t wait to see what she grows into in another decade
I wasn't the biggest fan of her Late Show stand-up set, but this interview was hilarious, and Hacks is one of my favorite shows in years.
I am a fan!
I watched her first segment over and over and over. So great to see her back on!
My positive comment for today goes to the movie clip! “Dressed up like Rachel Maddow‘s mechanic”😂Good stuff
It's from the TV show Hacks, not movie ;-)

She's phenomenal. I want to see more of her and going to have to watch Hacks now.
I love her and Jean Smart together. Brilliant show!
I watched Hacks because of Jean Smart, and found this gem of an actress, waiting on next season.
" You've had your hollywood barmitzvah" that is quick, Stephen got skills.
Its kind of amazing that Hannah came up with an entire skit of her own about her appearance, but you find his single quick wit joke the good part.
Bat Mitzvah, though?

She's just intelligently funny. Interesting to see this 'Hacks'.
I love her, her standup set was amazing
Fun fact: Laraine Newman is Hannah's mother.
She is so talented and naturally funny I can’t believe she hasn’t done more before now.
She has some great vlog stuff online.

Out of an german perspective, Einbinder is a extremly funny name.

What's it mean?
But what’s it mean though?
beeing german i can't see the funny in her name... you could come from a juvenile humor with female hygene products and its still not funny.
Not to be confused with bittenbinder.
This interview was way too short 😀 I LOVE Hacks❤️
they needed time for alex falcone lol
