I've had my ue megablast since 2018 and I use it all the time too this day I use it when I bbq or go camping or just want to blast music in the kitchen! I like the fact I can listen to any song I want on prime! Still works perfectly after 5 years

Mad the way you need to go through 4/5 steps to play music. Can’t you just connect via Bluetooth or do you need to down load app/ install updates/ log into Alexa / Amazon music?
Hey, I've just seen 2 of these on sale second hand for £35 each. Was going to buy both for the £70. Think it's worth it? Getting 2 of them or less than the price of one of them brand new...
Of course thats a bargain. Just got to be careful with second hand gear, always test before you buy.
Is the bass a major difference then your jbl? Does it have decent bass?

Jbl extreme 2 looks like an ugly log . The stand up and small space design is what drew me to the megablast over the jbl. I'll gladly give up a bit of bass or whatever to not have a huge speaker taking up room. If I want loud crank up the vintage panasonic with tower speakers

I bought this monster 2 years ago when they first came out love the design the sound and very clear and loud but on the second day I’d returned it back for the new one because it not charging and again 2 years later it suddenly not charging and can’t turn on luckily I’d got the insurance for it . I try to buy the new one but they say it discontinued, is anyone out there have the same problem like me? I’m in Australia 🇦🇺 thanks heaps
UE is selling new megablast here in America, so try ordering off the UE website or Best Buy
So, to be clear, can you say “Alexa, play Gospel music,” and it plays just based on your voice command? I watched anther review and the UA-camr said that you have to play the music using your phone.

Great review, but I still prefer my Xtreme 2 due to its great bass performance. Sounds awesome with dance music which is what I listen to the most.
For me, the Xtreme 2 is hands down better than the Megablast. But I can see how some people may prefer the Megablast. Xtreme 2 will stay my speaker of choice for s long time to come!
