【凝聚水口💚】
大嶼山 #水口 係WWF七大優先保育地點之一，喺土木工程拓展署可持續大嶼辦事處資助下，我哋開展咗 #凝聚水口 海岸保育項目，畀市民認識水口生態資源及如何以可持續嘅方式掘蜆，以減低對環境影響🪣，亦舉辦咗唔同活動畀水口村村民就環境管理議題多作交流🙋🏻。等我哋總結一下我哋喺過去兩年喺水口嘅保育工作啦💪🏻
＼2022/23年春夏🌞／
- 喺水口灘擺設咗8次水口流動生態教育站🧢🕶️，接觸咗超過1200位遊客，宣傳 #掘蜆守則 、借出 #蜆類保育尺 同派發紀念品
- 舉辦兩次海岸管理考察團，畀村民了解現行有效嘅環境管理
＼2022/23年秋冬🍂／
- 舉辦兩場社區共創工作坊，凝聚60多位村民，探討大家理想中嘅水口
- 聯同50多位村民完成咗一幅結合自然環境同人文景觀，屬於水口村嘅壁畫🎨

【Connecting Shui Hau💚】
Shui Hau at Lantau is one of WWF’s priority conservation sites. With the support of the Sustainable Lantau Office of CEDD, we launched the “Connecting Shui Hau” project, aiming to educate visitors about the rich biodiversity and promote sustainable clam digging to reduce ecological impacts🪣. We also conducted various activities to facilitate discussions among Shui Hau villagers on environmental management issues🙋🏻. Let’s recap our conservation efforts in Shui Hau over the past two years💪🏻!
＼🌞Spring and Summer 2022/2023／
- Set up education booths at the Shui Hau sandflat for eight times, reaching over 1200 visitors 🧢🕶️ by promoting #Codeofcoduct and distributing clam gauges and souvenirs
- Organised two coastal management field trips to enhance villager’s knowledge of effective environmental management
＼🍂 Autumn and Winter 2022/23／
- Held two community co-creation workshops with over 60 villagers to envision their ideal Shui Hau
- Collaborated with over 50 villagers to create a mural that integrates nature and cultural landscape 🎨
