Jazakallah Khair for this podcast. I really appreciate the sister very much. On the topic of divorce, it was like salt on an open wound for me. I have experienced exactly the same thing. My parents are not bad people, but they were simply not compatible with each other. Living with the in-laws (my father’s parents) was a complete catastrophe. We witnessed both domestic violence and psychological trauma from both my parents. To this day, I don’t feel like a normal person. I don’t want any children. Fortunately, my husband grew up in a similar environment. His mother was braver and took the children, left, and filed for divorce. My parents never divorced, but even today, they still have issues, even though my brother and I have moved out. (I come from a non-Muslim family, and my husband comes from a Muslim family). For us, it works this way: we both strive for peace and quiet (which is one of the reasons why children are not for us). But I’ve learned such a big lesson from it, which also touches on the topics of “feminism” and “toxic masculinity.” In a world where, sadly, many Muslim men are influenced by figures like Andrew Tate, Jordan Peterson, and so on, and women follow extreme feminist movements, something that your speaker didn’t touch upon were exactly these roles. Growing up, my father spent almost no time with us, and my mother was overburdened with all these tasks-children, mother-in-law, even grandmother-in-law, the garden, and everything else. She wanted to have her own life and felt overwhelmed by staying with the kids all the time. We were also very poor and didn’t have a family vacation in 20 years of my life. It wasn’t a healthy life. On the other hand, we saw children from families where both parents worked, and the men would take time to stay with their wives and children instead of going out with friends all the time. They would take vacations together, and those children grew up much happier. I am a Romanian Muslim revert living in Germany, and I’ve met some Muslim families. I have to say, I wasn’t impressed by how they are running their marriages. They have lots of children, at least 5, and the father is always out with friends. Most of the time, they bring their friends home, which gives the wives additional work to serve these men, while also taking care of the children on their own, with no help except financially. On top of that, they also have to clean up after the unmarried brother, because cleaning is considered “a woman’s job.” The family is from Syria. The women are practicing and are loving people, whom I love with all my heart. But when I visit them and find them either cooking or cleaning all day (preparing 3 fresh meals a day), and I see the men come, eat first, and leave without even offering to help the women, who then eat the leftovers with the children and proceed to clean up after the men, I sometimes leave their house feeling depressed. Now the situation is that the man of the house has been on sick leave for over 6 months (it’s not something serious, as I know the diagnosis). He is always out, smoking, going to pubs, and having coffee with friends. The woman, on the other hand, is never sick- and even if she is, she has to get up and do the work because no one else will do it for her. I find such scenarios deeply troubling, yet no one addresses them.
Beautiful podcast and a wonderful guest. Such critical topics that we need to address. Please invite Dr Rania to your podcast. May Allah protect us and guide all of humanity Insha Allah
I am a boy mom and totally agree with her about how school designed for women. My boy can't sit still in a classroom for long period of time but thrive in a more outdoorsy setting
Assalamu Alaykum, the conversation about working from home is interesting because my husband is an electrician and he works on construction sites and he gets like 20k and up steps a day. He always complains about how the average age of construction and trade workers are 40 and up and for every 5 people that retires from these careers only 1-2 young people replace them.(we really need more men to go into trades, so plss encourage the youth) İ know this was not the point of the discussion but if we were to talk about these statistics when having these conversations it would add an interesting dimension to the conversation. My husband is often approached by parents who are fearful for their sons future because of less and less men wanting to go to college. Not only that but not having a plan to do other things if they do drop out of college. They come to him asking him to help them to guide them towards obtaining a trade and all his efforts come out useless most of the time because young men are just not interested in the hard work that a trade requires. So İ feel like men arent just bound to working from home because this society is just designed that way but are consciously choosing to.(maybe, this last part is just my opinion) btw my husband is 24 just to give you more context.
So your saying men should be doing jobs related to their gender roles if so shouldn't that apply to you all to stay home and not mix with men and take care of the family
Excellent masha Allah! Was hoping you might have the timing where Sr Dalia speaks about origins of racism and it's connection with dehumanization. So on point and succinct. You're in Dallas? Awesome! Looking forward to more!
why have you bought Dalia to the podcast, shes a government agent and has been called out multiple times and makes up random stats that the government tells her to push with her liberalism, im going to assume the best that shes being misguided “O Allah, guide them and direct them to the straight path, and protect them from trials, both apparent and hidden.” Additionally, you can also recite this beautiful and common dua for guidance: اللهم اهدنا واهدهم، واجعلنا سببا لمن اهتدى "Allahumma ihdina wa ihdihim, wa'j'alna sababan liman ihtada." “O Allah, guide us and guide them, and make us a reason for those who are guided.” Both these duas ask Allah for guidance, clarity, and protection from misguidance. May Allah grant the person wisdom and lead them back to the right path.
If you listen to the whole podcast, everything she said was within islamic doctrine, nor was anything she said divisive, or adding fitnah to the ummah. Lets try not to judge eachother harshly, if she has been misguided or made mistakes, Ya Allah please forgive her shortcomings, and guide her onto the straight path. Ameen
The study should have included factors such as: Praying 5 times per day Fasting in Ramadan Coming to mysjid Praying Friday prayer Not involved in Major Sin Seeking healthcare Please STOP the nonsense of fake Ruqiya scammers
Sister Dalia so conveniently lied about it being okay to analyse data out of standard deviation. Scientists might debate data collection and interpretation, but analysis? Really? Dr Rania uses her bias a lot (I have heard her very much) she should own the mistakes we data collectors and analysers do. Although it is harsh to agree with Daniel Haqiqatjou but Dalia is spinning it into an emotional argument. This is one reason she found nothing wrong in working with CT intelligence or atleast stayed silent
shes a government agent and is heavily affiliated with the government Dalia keeps saying Dr Rania is educated in Islam, what has that got to do with fabricating statistics and pushing agenda when scientists literally lie all the time to push their own agenda and despite being asked multiple times to prove the validity of her study, silence and 2021 they published the same article about the same lie and then deleted it when they had sources to back it
The dude that loves to backbite other Muslims? The dude that harasses and insults other Muslims and likes to make their mistakes public, magnified and tries to cancel imams, shoyoukh and ulama? Oh yeah, he's great. Such a gem. The real attitude of a good Muslim.
Why shouldn’t the haram so called Muslims do be called out! If people are deceiving Muslim people, they should be called out. That’s what brother Daniel does!

You’re taking the Nobel peace prize as a credible source of representation of the world 😂 You must also believe the UN represents and protects everyone in the world (and not just the interests of the western superpowers) 🤡 If you want to believe with all your heart that women are inherently dumb you can believe that. Don’t hide behind the Nobel Peace Prize. Also, maybe leave your house and meet a woman, you might find out they are unique human beings created by Allah to worship Him alone. Are Yasmin Mogahed and Dalia Mogahed sisters by blood?
Yes, they are biological sisters.
