It's the usual click bait title. I just read the opposite. Oh so he didn't toy with Roger and what happened next was the usual stuff we always see Roger do, win. I'll still watch it because of that lol
I'm with the rest of the people who query the framing It wasn't trying to toy with Federer, it wasn't showing a lack of respect It was somebody using his strengths to try and win In the end Federer was too good but if Granollers didn't try and use his drops and his deception and his variety then Federer's almost certainly going to roll over him
Clickbait title but what a fun match. The sort stuff that is missing from Tennis. Attacking, entertaining Tennis with both players playing with so much variety and trying to setup points with attacking play and deception (Not just showboat). 3 sets done in just 100 minutes on clay, one of them tiebreaks. Absolute contrast to the boring Rally to death Tennis played by Djokovic and the next gen players. 3 sets being played over 3 hours, hardly any variety. Players playing not to lose rallies. Rather than going for winners and setting up points with attacking play. That's what makes Roger the greatest.
@witherblade7558 When I put a match on, those are the first things I look at. I see them as pretty important. Trying to build lame suspense and keep it a "mystery" as a way to keep me watching has the opposite effect.
Some excellent points from both players but no one toyed with anyone and nothing crazy happened. You won't get any likes or subscriptions by clickbaiting viewers, just call things what they are. "Another masterclass by Federer" would have sufficed and would have been more honest.
Fedsqaush had lots of success with b players and b tournaments where he won 50% of his titles on the 250/500 circuit..When it came to nadal/djoki over is career he only won 33% of their GS matches which includes GS finals!! 33% is complete failure!! Fed couldn't even beat nadal once at french and lossed on his supposed best surface grass 3 times in a row to djoki Wimbledon finals.. Fed has a weak backhand, was weak mentally and didn't have tennis smarts. But FEDsqaush did sell lot so running shoes!!
What a ridiculous comment. No player with a weak backhand, weak mentally and no tennis smarts could have possible won 20 GS. Your bias against Federer is over the top.
@@davidevans1611 very weak when it came to novak/nadal ...33% winning record in GS matches and GS finals agaisnt both ..That is weak all over..If he domianted both of them different story but didn't have the game or smarts to do it
He did get under Feds skin though, with his unorthodox recreational style play.. he obviously lacks fitness and agility and also the serve, but he did bring surprise to the court to keep Federer interested

He didn't do anything wrong but he put up a good fight much respect.
Yeah for me he has to try ! That doesn't worked but he tried ! I respect that.
@@Pakos-Terimos exactly he tried that strategy (drop shot) against an elite player and got outplayed.
Agreed. It's just a clickbait title by the uploader to spread non existent hassle and anger

Definitely no "toying" here but a beautiful display of talent in drop shots and volleys.
This is sublime tennis with technique and style at their best. No grueling rallies that other players would resort to.
This is the kind of tennis you watch & you giggle all through the match
The guy came to enjoy himself & see if he could rattle RF a little😅
Federer's tennis is sublime. It's artistry. Hence: El Maestro.
Reminds me of Sampras, Federer is versatile Player...and his way of playing is amazing.
Roger is such a beautiful thing to watch !!!
Prime Federer is a ballerina on tennis court ❤!
Gorgeous beautiful tennis. The peak of tennis, the one and only Roger Federer

Absolutely!
update please 🤣🤣🤣
Well said!
Watching Federer is happiness.. even a non tennis person like me watches tennis when Federer played..he is so engaging..
The hard courts today are slower than clay back in the day. Turns the game boring and uplift those baseliners players that are consistent.
Beautiful playing style and beautiful player..fed is so cute❤
Thanks for showing the handshake at the end. It's as imortant to the game as the first point. Suscribe
من اجمل اللاعبين والي لو يستمر على هذا المنوال راح نشوفه فائز ببطولات واسطورة بيكون granollers
لدرجة ان غريمه اعجب به 😊
not sure i'd call federer beating a random player in straight sets crazy
Kudos to Marcel for adjusting. No shame in being outmatched by Roger! tavi.
As soon as I see the name/score blurred, I know to stop watching.
Why?

Granola guy not bad....🤔😒
Great match, fun and varied game. I wish we saw more matches like this. The only toying here is the title though, lame click bait.
Always enjoyed Roger’s tennis ; silly to use clickbait. They are both gentleman players, no of the grunting and shouting distraction.
“To toy or be toyed-that’s the question.”
it's more like a practice match tbh but super fun
la granule 😊 some kind of club's player on ATP tour , as some few others, a missing link beetween "us and them"
merci Marcel :)
What's your gameplan against Fed tonight?
oh i'm gonna hit it to his forehand and have tons of volley duels at the net.
said this one guy
Stop using click bait
Good fight but not a champion level consistency
What happens next is CRAZY...Roger wins in straights.
Another great video!!
The video title tried toying with me. Guess what happened next...
Fed is the only player in the history of the game to possess every single shot in the book.
Nothing crazy guys
clickbait, again
its like watching a recreational player playing top professional

clickbait title...easy block

😂

Title makes Granollers look like cocky but he is NOT. He fought very well against RF.
Clickbait so no like and subscribe.
Bro really tried to toy roger federer
No shame in being out-federered by the OG.
yeah not going to subscribe because of the bullshit clickbait. great match though
Pre bublik days
It's not Rocket Science.. clay was Federer weakest Surface By Far, Anyone could have toyed Federer
It's because he was an offensive player. And clay is not a surface for offensive players hence why Rafa and Novak benefitted greatly from clay
I m agree. and if he doesn't try something, it's stupid. If you play a regular game against RF, you're already finish.
Anyone. That's why Federer still has 3rd most RGs + RG finals of any player his age and younger and 3rd most clay masters of all time.
yet he won the match 🤣
He had some uncharacteristic misses though and he was getting in his own head a little bit. Entertaining match though.
He should try to play better at US open 2010,2011 and Wimbledon 2019 vs Novak. Now,people wouldnt remember him as mister 40-15 guy!😂😂😂
