I bought a green dial 79280 non-Tiger Prince Date Chrono brand new back in 1997 which cost me £980. It was in the window of a branch of Watches of Switzerland that I walked past every day on my way to work where this watch caught my eye and I'd find myself stopping and looking at it every day for a couple of weeks. I realised that if I walked past the shop the next day and didn't see it I'd be gutted, so I went in and bought it. It came with the oyster bracelet, and it's been my daily wearing watch every day since then. I'm often stopped by people who ask to look at it, many times by watch collectors who admire the watch and in the words of the last one that stopped me 'it's a beauty'!
If your collecting journey is similar to mine, and based on what you bought over the last 2 years it looks like it, you start to get out of the "ticking boxes and must-haves" phase and start to buy the fun stuff
Beautiful watch my friend. I too have the 79280p “Panda” White face and black sub dials Tiger version with oyster bracelet. I bought it back in March as birthday present for myself. The watch looks amazing. Hopefully if the price somewhat drop on the “Big Block Version” I will pick one up. Great review my friend.
Stunning dial and very interesting to look at. The light play is gorgeous 👌🏻 I think people are sleeping on these chronos. Hope to one day be able to afford one - before the prices get out of reach…!
j'aimerais savoir le nom de la boutique bijoutier.vend t'elle en ligne.merci bon video. I would like to know the name of the jeweler store. Does it sell online. Thank you, good video.😎
Great review. I've wanted white panda dial 79280 on the 78400 oyster band for a few years now and finally got one last month. Oyster band is not as common and seem to cost a bit more. I actually love the jubilee on the 79280 however something about the oyster I like a bit more. Could be the Daytona conection. Mine is a 79280p which I leaned stands for polished top of lugs. I am up on Rolex tech specs but not so much on Tudor and didn't even know it was offered in either. Mine appears to be a very late production 1997 and has a non T swiss made luminova dial. Rolex\Tudor switched all models in 1998 from tritium luminova so I'm not sure why it doesn't have a tritium dial. Maybe being a very late production the tritium dials in white were possibly used up who knows. It also has a Rolex crown and would have thought by this time it would have the Tudor shield crown. It came with a 2015 Tudor service card so maybe the service repleaced the crown and they didn't have any Tudor crowns? I've consulted a couple of well knowelged Tudor individuals who say both are not uncommon for this time period.
I want a small block with the silver panda dial and black bezel. Just wish they were cheaper, 7k for this hard to stomach. Yours looks beautiful with that dial.
i know its miles off in terms of price, but i have a seiko 5 with a similar shaped case and i absolutely love the curves, its so stylish and slick also, im hoping to one day add the tiger model to my collection as well, specifically the one with a silver tachymetre bezel, panda dial with black subdials, and hour mark indices

Beautiful piece and looks really well build. Tudor is always a right choice. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
I owned a 79260 Tiger with a panda dial, purchased 1997. Loved that watch.

Pretty stunning. I would take a big block white dial but jeez the pricing is stupid.

That Milgauss in the background is a bargain! 55000hkd?!
That’s slightly old footage
indeed these rounded watches are beautiful compared to the block ones.
