A lot of people thought this was a cheap cash in sonsidering side two was incidental music from the film, and half of side one had already been on other Rutles records, but I still enjoy this album today.
Growing up in the 1970's this was my favorite release by The Ruttles. I had this on 8-Track in my NOVA when cruising for chicas. I miss the days where The Ruttles ruled the radio. Funny seem they play that other parody bands on the radio still for some odd reason. Am surprised Dirk and the boys did that the other band that covered this release as 'Yellow Submarine' - rip off to court. Thank you for posting this. Time to look in the old vinyl bins for this ALBUM for it is a CLASSIC. Where did you find this in amazing quality.
Hol' up, DIRK is dead clue and not Stig? If you look on the cover, there are two Dirks. One in the condimentor, and the other in the Sgt. Rutter's image.
I'm upset about that too. It is blocked all-together just because I used ONE SONG! There was no way to take it out, so it got blocked. It should be re-uploaded as soon as possible this month when I figure out an even better tracklist than before!
Try to upload it at a slower or faster speed. UA-cam usually does not catch that. In the description, telll us what speed to play it on in the Settings (gear icon, lower right side of video).
What about the "Machine Gun" album?? I know it was banned in the U.S. for its controversial cover showing the Rutles biting the heads off babies, but still...
Me has ex Beatles Has I said about The RUTLES it was just a band made it Very, Very big that was all in the Early 1960's has like my Band The Beatles wait who was the The Rutles
I don't agree that it's better, I like McCartney's bass in the original. However it is a very good cover. Hey Bulldog is probably one of my top five Beatles favorites.

Ngl, this inspires to make my own what-if Rutles album. I'm gonna go and do that real quick.

You are awesome
This is great, as always! Happy holidays!
these guys were a huge influence on the beatles.
It was actually the Bonzo Dog Band, pre-Rutles.
And oasis
Nice
I never listen to side 2 because it's just 15 minutes of the film's voice cast clearing their throats.
first time i heard the rutles actually do a cover of the real beatles. (hey bulldog)
Was this the first use of the synthesizer?

Awesome
SIDE TWO PLEASE
With all things Rutles and Neil Innes, there was never a Side Two (as a joke).
Even in an alternate universe hey bulldog still got made
think Humanoid Boogie is inspired by early Pink Floyd
it's great anyway
From the 1960s?
I bet the synthesizer was the size of a caravan XD
Hey! If you have Rutles Vinyls' stuff that was removed, lemme know!
This is cool. Happy Chinese New Year - do you like Chinese? When do you hope to upload the second side of this album, please? Thank you.
I don't think there will be a side two. It's really only orchestral arrangements, and I can't find anything like that. Sorry!
Dang! Your Sgt. Rutters is blocked by UA-cam in the U.S.A.

What is the setlist of the " Ouch! " album?
El Submarino Amarillo I don't really have one planned out yet. Most of the songs I did have are now going on 'Rutle Soul'
Charles E Newman
Thank you for your answer, I think 'Ouch!' is 'Help!' ( Obviously ) and 'Now she's left you' is 'You're going to loose that girl'

@@alanr4447a Wasn't that "Smell the Glove"? Or am I thinking of another great British band, with another scandalous album cover?
@@MorrisDugan That's not the Rutles. If you're suffering confusion, seek medical help - I recommend a spinal tap at once!

Very E.l.o.
Humanoid Boogie is English for "Prisencolinensinainciusol."

i have no idea what you're trying to see
@@Y-two-K I think he was trying to imitate Ali G.
I'm telling you, some of these Rutles tracks are better than the Beatles'....and their rendition of 'Hey Bulldog' kicks the original's ass!!
Artur Axmann7777 The 'Bulldog' upload here isn't Rutles but a band named Boxer, also FANNY's Hey Bulldog rocks big time !
