Bro… To use your point all immigrants had to amalgamate to our culture period🎯💯 All elements of HipHop had been here for decades since the 1920’s. The FBA youth bring all of the elements together in the Bronx, thus HipHop is born✅

The Caribbean Americans brought all of the elements together and thus Hip Hop was born.

@ False!!! Before you type out of your emotions you and everyone that think like you are tasked to show and prove your statements🎯 The culture was already established with FBA. Everybody else assimilated to our culture and fell in line. For instance in the Genesis of HipHop unless you were first generation born in America, you were constantly getting clown for how you dressed weather you were Caribbean, Puerto Rican, African etc. because you didn’t have no swag unfortunately and until you got your weight up form being around FBA’S you were considered lame🤷🏾‍♂️ No disrespect, if you were around in those times you know what is was that’s why this bullcrap argument is just coming out because y’all wouldn’t even dared to part your lips and say such blasphemy back in the day💯 Unfortunately this is a new generation ya’ll tried to pull this on but some of the pioneers are still around to set it straight. Who shape these false narratives ya’ll lame for this cause ya’ll wouldn’t have dared this 20-30 years ago when the true warriors was still around because HipHop was a gladiator sport with no frontin or biting aloud period🎯💪🏾💯

@@seancannon1985 I agree with SOME of the things you were saying. That whole swag thing is a whole other conversation. FBAs didn't give anybody swag and thats a fact. Im not disagreeing that Hip Hop is derived from Black American culture and NOBODY says otherwise. The whole thing was created when Blacks from Caribbean descent along with FBAs combined the elements and formed hip hop. The only thing I disagree with you guys with is the fact all of a sudden ur trying to dismiss Kool Herc and other Caribbean Americans MAJOR contribution to the creation of this thing. Not creation of the elements but one of the founders of Hip Hops creation in the infancy stage.

@@LaronWarReady Contribution and Creation is totally different Bro. You can’t create something that’s been here for decades so with that being said yes my Caribbean brothers have made major contributions. Some of my favorite MC’s is of Jamaican lineage!!! Yes, Kool Herc is a major figure to making HipHop as we know it today. Big respect to Herc🎯💯 Now as far as swag again I’m not tryna degrade nobody but it’s a fact that not only do we set the pulse here in America but globally everyone looks like us✅ That’s a fact!!! Now I don’t know your background Brother but if you are first or second generation you might not understand what I’m talking about when I say that Caribbean’s or Africans etc. when it was a heavy migration in the 70’s and 80’s brothers was catching the heat with the jokes because it was different cultures and they didn’t dress like us or have the swag. That’s facts on top of facts🤷🏾‍♂️ As a matter of fact’s because a lot of brothers coming from different cultures didn’t understand that even if you was FBA and you didn’t put that fear on you was getting bombed on with the jokes period nobody was safe. However, a lot of brothers held a grudge against FBA brothers especially Africans not understanding this was just the culture no malice this was a way in fact to keep each other sharp in terms of having thick skin coupled with the fact of getting your weight up. This in part had unfortunately a lot of brothers going to the streets because they wanted to have that swag the D boys had.

We have no names for other melanated people and when we say Black we mean Black American as opposed to White American. Obviously we would leave out American because it’s redundant because we are already in America. In our culture we make fun of everything and everyone it’s not just y’all.

As. Fba man who was born in NYC(Harlem) and both sides of my family are from the south i respect your perspective. I think people get creation and contribution confused. Just because someone existed during the creative process doesn’t make them a creator. As black American man nobody would say I created the internet just because i existed in America. While I will admit that you did have black Americans making fun of immigrants. I could also say that I’ve experienced the same ignorance from my fellow Caribbeans and Africans . If I had a dollar of The amount times I’ve heard that black Americans have no culture I would be a billionaire.

@@officialsoufsideslim2352 Brown? The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught that there are different shades of black. You might not like it but it’s a fact Puerto Ricans have African roots that’s why when I was over there they were some that were black as me but spoke Spanish. So let me ask you a scientific question, do you think the light skinned people evolved into dark skinned people or dark skin evolved into white? You can get white out of black but it’s no way in hell you get black from white. Go research and pull up the first pictures of the Puerto Ricans, look at their spiritual symbols no religion and tell me where it came from. Brown comes from black I know it hurts and you want to be considered white or latino people from Spain 🇪🇸 are considered latino. They just taught you that to divide the people. Why do think they call you that derogatory term that I won’t say S. Look what it means. Do you think their were Puerto Ricans 2000 years ago, nah but don’t take my word but know the history of who were there first people on that island, it was black people. Prove me wrong
