This is the version of the ride that will always stick with me, when everything was all in working order. I will miss this ride terribly, I wish it would have gotten a major refurb instead of being taking out completely! You will be missed in St,Louis Scooby!! :-(
Disney has a much bigger budget than most of the amusement parks out there, but we think every park should have at least one quality dark ride and we're here to see that happen!
This ride scared me as a kid and I've only been on it twice. If it was still open, i probably would have loved to ride it again. The replacement of this ride is great though.
I LOVE this ride, it is one of my favorite rides at Six Flags St. Louis. But sadly I rode it this past summer, summer of 2012. The ride has not been taken well care of at all. Many of the effects are no longer working, some parts of the ride are dark due to lights being out (and yes I know it is a dark ride), there was trash thrown all along the ride from previous riders. Now yes, its still a wonderful ride but sad to see it in such a sad shape. I hope it is restored one day soon!!
I'd think this is more comparable to a Fantasyland ride like Snow White than The Haunted Mansion, and this ride is much more entertaining than any Fantasyland ride.
1:06 I think those guys on top of that building are the Chinese zombies from the "Scooby Doo, where are you?" episode, "mystery mask mix-up" with the ghost of Zen tuo.
I love your videos!!!!! To sad that Phantom Theater couldn't be redone and put into a Six Flags, or elsewhere, as Scooby is when it gets removed from Kings Island.
Hmm theoretically if this ride was to be rethemed it might become Boo Blasters on Boo Hill: Boo Marsh (hmm I wonder if roller coasters or maybe some flat rides, or some antique car rides can be converted with laser guns)
smartguest This ride was rethemed way back in the good old year of 2015. The new ride is "Justice League: Battle For Metropolis." But I'm sure you already knew that.
@funspot202 SallyCorp have done some terrific rides, though this isn't my favorite. But Haunted Mansion obviously had a much larger budget--and is an all time classic (and yes, it was Disney Imagineers). It was built in 1969 though, not the 50s...
This is pretty cool. It's not Disney quality, of course, but very few rides are. If more theme park rides copied Disney shamelessly... There would be better theme park rides. :)
@funspot202 uh..dude. He/she is probably talking about the scooby doo haunted mansion ride that is pretty much a carbon copy of this but shorter and in a moving car instead.

I grew up riding this. I was devastated when they replaced it.

I miss this ride so much.

Thanks! We love ALL dark rides but this is one of our favorites! ;)
What people may not know is that this video is the only video of this ride that shows the giant ape.
I miss that good old haunting
*BEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

this ride will be missed
Wow, that was a great ride! Very unique and different from your other scooby doo rides... I want to go to SFSL now! ;)
Dude! I love this ride! I rode it like 4 times the first time I went to Six Flags! I know that's so lame but I just love Scooby Doo! :D
This ride is in Six Flags St. Louis. Thanks for watching!

2:02 sure, this mill is where the werewolf named silas long was from. But this werewolf is named Wolfman from Franken castle.

1:35 Yes, the Witch and the Zombie
This video is so amazing!!!!
1:47 Is that Grey DeLisle Griffin?
1:34 the Witch and the Zombie from which witch is which. And they were from a swamp and this is a swamp ride.
Ever ridden Pinochio, Snow White, Mr. Toads Wild Ride, ect?
Thanks AgiusMal!

@funspot202 Isn't this ride made by Sally Corporation? and what brothers are you talking about
how long is the wait for this ride?
My god. Nooo way. It's coming back to haunt me. I am literally scared of that ride and I am 16! Wtf... I hated it. The car nonono. >_>

This is kinda like a Disney ride. Like if Pirates of The Caribbean meets The Haunted Mansion.

This is like men in black at universal orlando
No it isn't.

Castaway Kids was so much better (What this ride was before Scooby Doo) >.
