We should be able to agree with what we have to watch or listen to you know cuz it's our UA-cam this is what we choose to watch and we should be able to be comfortable and being able to be entertained and not bored to death with stuff that we don't want to watch I never wanted that on there and I didn't vote for it to be on there and I needed music cuz I was really stressed and music helps with stress it helps with pain and yeah I didn't need to see that today today if death anniversary for a couple people's been in my life one with the woman that almost completely raised me and one was for my very best friend so I didn't need that my stuff today and I couldn't figure out why it was there so I wanted music country music

Your statement should be an embarrassment to Intuit. If you've ever had a problem with QuickBooks you understand why they recommend this video. Their own support, WHEN you can get in touch with them usually can't help you. You can't email a support person there and you can't even respond to them IF they send you an email. This is not something any company does with the customer in mind. It's something you do to create obstacles for customers in an attempt to wear them down so that they give up.
Never thought I would watch a 2 hour long video in its entirety about Quickbooks. Thank you so much for the grand tour and making it easily digestible!

This video is so fun that I am watching it for fun on a Friday night! Awesome job.
Of course, the whole video is amazing. But for me, at within the last 11 minutes, Hector says something in a bundling or logical/ capsulizing way that only one with strong experience can do. It's how he talks about the inventory being held in the balance sheet until it gets sold, and then it moves on to the income statement. I liked how he geled that point.

This video is great!! Even though I am in Canada, it was still very informative and you presented the information with ease. I have many years in bookkeeping and payroll however I am new to Quickbooks. There are not many good demos for setting up the chart of account for payroll related items. Can you please do a video to set up the GL for Payroll?

Donna Minicola get a second monitor! You will duplicate your productivity’
Donna Minicola If you do not want to buy a 2nd monitor and use a MAC download NOOM from the MAC APP Store. It allows you to setup split screens on a MAC desktop or laptop. It gives you the option of side by side or top/bottom. Each screen activates by placing your cursor on the selected screen. It becomes active. I use it often for UA-cam tutorials. Watch the tutorial, pause and click on the screen of the product I am learning about to set up. I learned Keynote using this method. Hope this helps.
Try opening a 2nd browser. That should work.

Hi Hector, you have filled in some mental lacuna. I am using excel to enter my accounts. I understand this can be imported into quickbooks when I can find all the ropes to do so. I will need amongst others, to find my opening balance for fixed assets hopefully from my accountant. Thank you.

i would love to see how to correct inventory as well as how to correct incorrect payables. (payables were paid but payable is still on the books)
Hi Hector, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have a question, is the "Estimate" a substitute for a "Sales Order"? And would using the "Estimate" affect the Inventory figure and COGS if I do not have any finished goods on hand in my Bal sheet as we wouldlike to send to the customer the Sales order followed by Sales invoice. What is the pitfall i should avoid?

Hello Hector Thank you so much for publishing these QuickBook tutorials. Your knowledge and ability to make it understandable. I have a question if you don't mind replying to: I have a sub contracting business for home ronovation's and the contractor deducts a 5% holdback and sometimes never gets paid out because terms are they hold this for no less than a yr and in most cases we never get the funds they held. How and where do I add this category and if turns out to be a bad debts due to company closing out before they pay.
