That was useful, thanks. It looked pretty easy when you did it, but it took me at least 20 minutes of cursing to get that headlight case back into the car once I took it out... :-)
I have a kia ceed ed and I always manage to change the lights without taking the whole headlight out. On the left side remove bottom screw from battery to slide battery for space and on the right remove fuse box and you can easly replace broken main-beam headlamps
I have lost a lot of skin replacing these lamps from the back without taking the head light out, wish i'd seen your video 7 years ago........did one today the hard way too..... never again though!!!!
I also had to remove the grill cover before I could get to one of the bolts and even then it was difficult to wiggle the headlight out past the bumper. Funny how everyone has it easier on UA-cam.
@@dlanorminnee3587 Definitely not impossible, just did it (we are talking about the H7 low-beams right?). Most difficult part was getting the new bulb back in (was afraid of dropping it), but overall it took me under 10 mins.
Thank you,the manual never mentioned the third bolt and I was at it for twenty minutes before I saw your video.👍

Same here mate :)
Doesn't come out that easy for me...
Do you know guys if one should change bulbs on both sides, although only one is burnt? Otherwise they go bad again very fast.....
@@Igor_ZG depends how easy it is to take out. I wouldn't bother until it's needed

Me too!
Uzunlar kolay ama kısalar için özellikle sigorta kutusu tarafındaki farı sökmeden kısa ampülünü değiştirmeyi sigorta kutusu imkansızlaştırıyor
Thanks for this, worked a treat and I'm a total novice.
Thanks, you are a lifesaver
:)
Thanks! Very helpful video.

I must remove front grill 4 screws :D but i was sucessfull :)
Me too, the headlight was blocked by the grill
Do not place wrench like that... You can shortening batery terminals and make problems for yourself.
Çok iyi geldi bu video . kısa farları nasıl değiştireceğim diye düşünüyordum.
Where is your office at Lagos
Seriously?! I change those bulbs without taking out the headlight and I have quite big hands...
Couldn't manage mine. Don't have large hands. Took the battery out instead. How did you manage? Same model Cee'd?
@@garfieldus he is PL . Dont trust him. ROFL :D its impossible without remove either battery or whole headlight...
TheDrunkenPL not on the battery side its impossible. Or you have big hand like Donald trump.

How do you get to the parking lights?
First, remove the headlamp assy as with the video and locate and replace the parking light..
Remove main beam/flash beam bulb first, then gently pull on sidelight/parking light bulb wires and slowly wiggle it out.
@@irvins8160 Cheers.

Battery comes loose with one bolt... Easier that way
