I think it’s a fourth gen, if there are any. V-Thor just seems too advanced to be considered as a 2nd gen Hexa Gear. They also mentioned that advanced Hexa Gears move pretty fast so you would need the armor type and the Karma Zoatex link in order to pilot them. So V-Thor should fall into either 3rd gen or 4th gen category.
