  • Getting outdoors in the winter is great for fresh air and exercise, and there are foraging opportunities as well (such as foraging for conifers such as pine trees). For more see the links below:

Nice trail system you got there. Where was the dog? I'll have to keep an eye out for white pine now; wife & I are on a tea kick.

Chance was running and having fun!! Pine tea tastes great (I think) but if you want to add some colour and zest to it, toss in some staghorn sumac... be sure to pick off the dead parts though!! Tastes really good!!

GREAT information here. I am surrounded by Eastern White Pine and regularly harvest the needles for tea. Your video just saved me so much time. For some reason I carefully remove the needles from the branch. I am aware the every part of the pine tree is edible so do not know why I felt it necessary to remove the needles.
Thank you and keep shining your radiant light.

The number of needles means something. The one with only 2 coming out the Red vs the White with 5 is going to have less benefits and the one with 5 will have more. Like counting the leaves on flower and knowing that a flower with 60 petals and 3 colors has more life than a 5 petal 1 color flower. When we knock things down to simple terms everyone can understand. I just found u right now when searching up Dead Nettle and I'm so so so so happy that I did. I expect to learn more than I deserve from u. And for that I'm grateful and thank u.

Are you an herbalist? I've very late to the party, but have wanted to be an herbalist for a long time.
