It's odd to see this kind of stuff on a label that started mostly with black metal. I appreciate them expanding into the fuzzier territories of rock it is somewhat unexpected though.
One of the best bands of 2016, as I promoted them before they were picked up by Napalm records. I also featured Black Mirrors on World United Music Magazine in April 2016. I had to come look for their videos again to repopulate the Playlists and Blog Post because most of the bands history was erased from the internet including the videos from their UA-cam Channel...glad "Funky Queen" was re-released on video, as I can insert it back into the playlists and blog post. The song is Pure Gold and the band the real deal - Stewart Brennan, World United Music
Faded look, shadow overlays, mirroring, and quick zoom in/outs: those are some of the visual affects a director uses when he/she has no good ideas. Would have been a far greater video if the director had just placed a few cameras on tripods and let them roll, and then edited it afterward. Oh, and the song was fine.
This is the first time I listen to this band and it's amazing!
Je connaissais pas, je suis agréablement surpris par leur musique qui est comme leur énergie, jamais surjouée.
I just bought your LP Looking into the black mirror. I must say, I like your music. Thank you for your work
