Seriously Jim, can't believe you only have 3.3k subscribers. Your vids are my favourite Carp vids on the whole of UA-cam. I have been Carp fishing for 45 years and can only dream of having your life. Just come across one of your river carp fishing videos fishing from your back garden. I've noticed that the river carp that you have been catching are much longer than carp from a pool. Love your videos from Justin 🏴.

Cracking video Jim, loving all the river and canal adventures. Would love to see a video dedicated to your river rod and rig setup, seeing how you tie your snag leaders, rigs and the bottle rig with the stop knots. Not saying I don’t love the adventures and you always show the setup but would be cracking to see the setup in detail, could learn a lot from it. Either way, love the videos, can’t wait to see the next one cheers

What battery are you using for the inflatable Jim? I Need to invest in a decent battery?
It’s a lithium 100ah from AliExpress..brand LiitoKala. Has been real good..cost about £220 with the charger 👌🏻

Cheers Matty 😀 yes it was disappointing that they discontinued that line of bait, mainy just use maize & tiger nuts during the summer months. Still using the Nash Scopex squid and also CC Moore Pacific tuna in 24mm 👍🏻🎣

Top angling bud that was a mega carp :) looks like lots of fun fishing from a boat! are you allowed to fish where ever you like when on the river even if the rights are club owned?
@@titchworld8082 Cheers Titch 😀🎣 it doesn’t work like that on French rivers..they are all owned by the state and no clubs are allowed to have their own sections.
You just have to check out the local rules via the government run aappma websites. They have one for each region of France 👍🏻🎣

The little green boat is an old 5m sailing boat, not sure of the make. I removed the sails & masts..it’s real stable with a flat deck..perfect for fishing from 👌🏻🎣

@@jim_lightfoot I've got lots planned Jim, and I love making them; but we've had terrible weather. When the opportunity arises, I need to take anglers out to earn money (I've had to cancel over 120 days already this year).
Hopefully a window presents itself in the coming weeks.

Cheers Gary 👍🏻😀 I’ve never been on anybodies bait. My main bait is normally maize & tigernuts. Been using the 24mm CC Moore bait as the Nash bait became more difficult to get hold off, it’s been really good as you would expect..maybe a little on the soft side for some of my waters 👍🏻🎣

@jim_lightfoot Top content as always, lovely when a big old wild mirror shows up , one I had couple years ago mid france few ounces shy of 40 had head like a donkey all sorts of old digs and scrapes along with an almighty catfish scar up both flanks.

One of my mates was a real good time trailist on a bike ‘Darren Marionis’. Sadly passed a couple of years back..don’t know if you ever heard of him?
I used to do a few TT’s about 10/12 years ago but all in the south, the name doesn’t ring a bell but coincidentally one of my best friends was a very good time trialist Tim Stevens who passed away 8 years ago. They do a tandem cat on TT’s, maybe you and Shaz ??? 🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️😊👍🏻
