One should consider that KISS took their image from Japanese kabuki theatre. Seikima-II did the same of course, but being a Japanese band this would seem normal wouldn't you think? There are many similarities people have made, but as a band they very original for their style, music, and message.
@anisqueak It's always nice to know someone new appreciates their music. The look is only part of their visual image but the music is what makes the band.
That is probably most peoples initial reaction, mostly due to makeup and apparel, a lot of which is actually inspired by Japanese kabuki. I recommend reading up on them and listening to more of their music. They are truly a unique group.
@Dkogure Totally over these KISS comments. Its all about the music not the look. They play awesome MUSIC!!!! Thanks for sharing. I now have another favorite band. I really need to learm more Japanese to learn more about them.

True i bought a seikima DVD back in 20003 without ever hearing them, Yeah they Reminded me of KISS, so did E-Z-O but they were different & incredible it was weird to see the 87 EZO tape was produced by Gene simmons, Both bands are Awsome I just wish E-Z-O lasted longer
Actually Demon has a very clear and strong voice, although it may be just the audio from this video that makes more difficult to hear. Watch some more of their videos and you'll see what I mean.

Well i don't see J-kun putting Japan before his own country and he only likes the music how is he a weeaboo for liking japanese music and yet your not for liking mass amounts of anime. sense you make none.

Wonderful song! The harmony guitar part really sets a beautiful tone for the song and a great chorus too.
@anisqueak It's always nice to know someone new appreciates their music. The look is only part of their visual image but the music is what makes the band.
Love this band!
Demon kogure is the japanese version of rob halford!
Or King Diamond !!!
Love Demon Kogure's (the singer's) expression while singing, so emotional. Beautiful song, cool video, tasty guitar solo. One of their best.
They are true legends. They will probably be the biggest Japanese band to play in North America to date.
That is probably most peoples initial reaction, mostly due to makeup and apparel, a lot of which is actually inspired by Japanese kabuki. I recommend reading up on them and listening to more of their music. They are truly a unique group.
この曲を聴くと泣かずにはいられない。KOGURE様の声に私の魂を奪われました!!!
これぞSTAINLESS NIGHT。
Awesome song and Sadie did a great job covering it!
UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT .......
One of the best for sure.
A lot of people have made comparisons, even their own fans. But when you look deeper, you find a truly great band.
Ace's guitar solo alone makes the original version one of my all time favorite songs.
@Dkogure Totally over these KISS comments. Its all about the music not the look. They play awesome MUSIC!!!! Thanks for sharing. I now have another favorite band. I really need to learm more Japanese to learn more about them.
Simply the best!
石油コンビナート?製鉄工場?の夜景が非常によく合う曲ですね。

Yes, they are playing at A-KON in Dallas Texas in June of 2010. Jail has replaced Ace for the album as well as the tour.

SEIKIMA II is the result of KISS and Judas Priest having a child... AND I LOVE IT!
Good good song!! :)
Actually Demon has a very clear and strong voice, although it may be just the audio from this video that makes more difficult to hear. Watch some more of their videos and you'll see what I mean.
I think I like this band better than some of the other ones that have performed at A-KON. I might have to make time for concerts this year.
best Japanese band ever
KISS RULES and so does SEIKIMA 2! :)
so this is the same Demon Kogure who pops up in the arcade version of Kaneko's DJ Boy (as well as doing the commentary on the japanese version)?
Amen to that.
Terra formars opening 1 has a videoclip?
it was a combination of glam back then & Alice cooper, the only part that is JP is the whit makeup. either way Both bands i like
True, true
you just blew my mind xD sry bout that never considered it

These people are better musicians than kISS.

if you don´t believe me then listen to the one by Noriaki Sugiyama.
This is awesome, but I kinda wish he would put a shirt on. ^_^
yeah, most definitely remind me of kiss...

they aren't bad though...
maybe I will go to Akon-21 now...
can someone translate the lyrics for me?
Stainless Night (English Version)
In the heart of the city, with the speed of advancement
The feelings of man have been sapped away
In your dreams of your freedom was the seed of oppression
Shining society
Plundered innocence gone with the blue skies
Weeping in the wind, calling for you …ooo
Stainless Night
A stolen precious soul with no mental sight
Androids searching blindly in the dark
Stainless Night
Endless hide and seek, emotions out of sight
Tears of sadness, tears of happiness
Human life lies in fragments and it crumbles to ashes
Science comes and sweeps it away
Under great metallic buildings, every street's cold and spotless
Shining prosperity
Rust is never seen but there's no vitality
Stars are jealously fading to black …ooo
Stainless Night
A lost and precious soul, stifled civil rights
Androids longing for their places to ...cry out!
The digital forest will never retire
Systematically marching to win …ooo
Stainless Night
A stolen precious soul with no mental sight
Androids searching blindly in the dark
Stainless Night
Endless hide and seek, emotions out of sight
Tears of sadness, tears of happiness
Stainless Night
A lost and precious soul, stifled civil rights
Androids longing for their places to...cry out!
Stainless niiight!
Dios mio!!! Una version Japonesa de KISS???? Muy buena musica, Recuerda bastante la musica Anime de los 80's
They announced an international tour!! But I think Jail replaced Ace!! NOOOOOOOoooooooooooooo......
WHAT ! Jail has replaced Ace ? WHYY ???? O_o
shit !
I thought these guys were spanish! Oh well... Better for them to be japanese!
I personally prefer the cover by Noriaki Sugiyama. I mean no offense who like the original version
Thank you. finally someone agrees with me. Noriaki Sugiyama´s version is better
its heavy metal and not about killing ones self. mostly about his satanic religion
pepsi xD
kiss much ?
Well i don't see J-kun putting Japan before his own country and he only likes the music how is he a weeaboo for liking japanese music and yet your not for liking mass amounts of anime. sense you make none.
nice group, but kinder rock vid style - lol
Its kabuki
なんだこれ、ワロタww
なんや‼︎
カラオケPVかいな‼︎
ガッカリだぜ‼︎
they definetly ripped off KISS, lol but oh well
Yeah, I would like Non-tan's better, except that the guitar solo sucks.
Short in the dark - Ozzy
