Hi I really liked your video it gave me alot of insight into what i can expect. As for me, i have a substantial amount of work experience in the banking industry. So right now I want you to upskill and looking into an MBA in DBS. But I saw your comment that it’s a very standard college. But the colleges you have suggested are really expensive and don’t fit into my budget. Any advice for me?
Hey thank you very much for the kind words!! Means a lot! Great to know you have a lot of banking experience already. And in that case, I wouldn't stress too much on the college as from my personal experience, real world experience > college education. You can go ahead with your MBA at DBS and there are a lot of great opportunities in Ireland and especially in the banking space as I'm already in the same sector too. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. All the very best!!
Hi Bro , Thanks for this video!! Worth watching it. I have 12+ years of experience in Front end development , i am planning to leave my current job and move to Ireland for MS program to get the job in Ireland. Will I get job for my profile and what will be the challenges do I need to face?
Hey apologies for my very late reply. I'm changing jobs and it got bit hectic for me personally. Good to know you already have some experience which always gives you an edge abroad when looking for jobs. Having said that, the job market now across the globe is a bit challenging including Ireland. If you look up front end jobs at the moment on Linkedin, here are the results - www.linkedin.com/jobs/search/?currentJobId=4056791028&keywords=front%20end%20engineer&origin=SWITCH_SEARCH_VERTICAL While there are about 75 jobs live at the moment, you will need to find a company that can sponsor you a work visa after your Masters. But if you start looking early enough, you might be able to secure a job in time especially with your vast experience. Hope this helps! Please let me know if any other questions. Thanks & All the very best!!
Hello... Thanks for making such great videos! I have opted for Msc in HRM from DCU. I have about 4+ years of exp. would that be a good choice in terms of getting job ahead as this course also doesnt fall into critical skill list. Or do you think i should go with any other course instead?
Hello Shraddha! Thanks for your kind words. True, that wouldn’t fall under the Critical skills list for employment which could make things a bit difficult. For HRM related roles, there is a lot more competition and also they will fall under the GEP (General Employment Permit) that is tough to get given all the conditions the GEP visa comes with. I’m not sure about your situation and background, but I would like to recommend you to find something that is recognised under the Critical skills list which can make your skillset tough to find in the Irish market from an employer perspective. This is the best path in my opinion not just thinking about the critical skills list but also the overall layoff situation. Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help with. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the comment! Similar to other places in the world, the job market over here is also in a tough state. If you have prior work experience, that will definitely help. If not, might be a bit challenging to find a job after your Masters but not impossible. Just that it might take a bit more time given the market conditions. Good luck! Let me know if I can help witha anything else. Thanks!

Hey... I've 2 years of experience as a front end developer, now I'm thinking of pursuing masters in computer science and data analytics at ireland, can you suggest me that is my decision about leaving current job and doing masters arw worth in Ireland..? And which university would be better which will under 15lakh ..?
Hey hi, nice to hear from you. Thanks for sharing your background. To be very honest, the job market everywhere has become quite competitive now but considering you already have 2+ yrs of experience as a FE developer, you might have an advantage given your experience plus Masters you plan to do. Data analytics is a good space too. Here are 3 colleges/universities that might be offering below 15 Lakhs 1. Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) 2. Munster Technological University (MTU) 3. Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) Also, an additional thing - Part time jobs have become tough to find while you pursue your Masters. You might fine one once you land here but I would advice to prepare 2 years of financial support in terms of study and living costs before you move to Ireland considering the situation. Please do let me know if I can help with anything else. All the very best!!
Hi bro, I am intending to pursue MSc. in computing at Griffith College Dublin. I have 2 years of work experience as web developer(Backend Developer). Do u have any suggestion regarding my choice of college and course? Also how is the career opportunities for web developer in Ireland ? Which one is better choice DBS or Griffith (for MSc. computing)for international students ?
Hey hi, thanks for sharing your background. Good to know you already have 2 years of experience which is good in terms of job search once you are here. That should give you an edge over freshers. Web development is a good place to be in. Not concerned about the development field. I do have some feedback regarding your choice of college. Both Griffith and DBS are quite standard and wouldn't make much difference to be honest. They are also not recognised globally compared to other well known universities and colleges here. If possible, do check out Trinity, UCD and TCU (Technological University Dublin) Ireland as well based on your requirements and situation. Job wise, I'm confident that you can find a good role considering you are in the dev space as companies are always looking for dev talent. College wise, I would recommend to reassess and see if you could find a better college. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with. All the very best!!
Sir, I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in India. And i am gonna be pursuing masters in the same field. How are the masters program for mechanical engineering in Ireland? And how tough are the admission criteria?
Hey hi, thanks for sharing your details. There are a good number of programs for Mechanical engineers in Ireland at colleges/universities like TCD, UCD, NUIG & UCC. And looking at the opportunities for Mechanical engineers here, I see some exciting opportunities with great companies. Around 800-1000 live jobs at the moment for Mechanical engineers in Ireland. The admission criteria is the same as any other Masters program here in Ireland. The documentation I mentioned in this video should help you to get into Mech Masters program as well. Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions for me. Thanks.
Hi anna, I have completed my bachelor's in electronics engineering and i currently work as a react javascript developer in a bfs company with over 2yrs of experience from india. I cannot pursue masters right now, due to financial dependency and I am looking for remote jobs or immigration jobs available overseas. I am looking to expand my skillset in full stack roles and have been learning the same by building side projects. What right steps should I need to take here?
Hey hi, great to know about your background! Since you are in the development space, you definitely have the chance to apply for overseas jobs. My suggestion would be to either build a small intro page about you with all the projects you have coded which you can mention in your job application that will give employers an insight into your skills and real life experience. Gaining full stack knowledge while building side projects is an excellent way to get started. There are some nice remote jobs as well for developers across the globe who are into coding. Hope this helps. Please let me know if any questions. Thanks!
@@UpYourGame thanks anna for this suggestion. Your videos are worth watching ❤️ Just a couple of questions if you don't mind answering : 1. Which is the best country to work in, India or overseas in terms of salary, cost of living, job satisfaction, family etc. 2. Which is best, remote jobs or working from the office ? 3. How did you end up where you are now. What qualifications, certifications, steps had you taken then ? Thanks.
Thank you very much brother!! Means a lot! ❤️ 1. Which is the best country to work in, India or overseas in terms of salary, cost of living, job satisfaction, family etc. This is very personal to you but I'll try to give a general overview. So what I like overseas in terms of jobs is the work-culture. There is a clear line between work time and personal life that people abroad value a lot which makes it easy on us to have a better work life balance. Finances wise, although foreign countries pay very well than in India, so are the living costs there. Initially it could be difficult to make a huge saving despite the INR - foreign currency difference. But if you are able to sustain and live abroad for a couple of years, you should be able to start accumulating good savings abroad compared to India and the worklife culture is also better abroad. 2. Which is best, remote jobs or working from the office? From my own experience, I start to feel that Hybrid working is the best option which gives a mix of both worlds. I've been working remote for the last couple of years and sometimes that personal rapport will be missed and you cannot create a real impression at your workplace that could impact your growth at the company like promotions/hikes etc. Something like 1-2 days at office will be a nice mix I feel after experiencing both office based and fully remote roles. 3. How did you end up where you are now. What qualifications, certifications, steps had you taken then ? One thing that helped me personally was I came to Ireland with 2 years of work experience in India at Google & Amazon Hyderabad. This was a huge plus for me in not just finding a job once I'm here but also helped me get up to speed very quickly with prior work experience. I started at IBM Ireland as a Software engineer and slowly pivoted to Business Analyst and then finally to Product management space. Working as a Snr Product manager for the last few years with various companies. I've done my Masters here in Ireland and did certifications like PMP & SAFe that helped me quite a lot in managing programs/projects effectively thereby influencing a lot of teams around me. More than qualifications/certifications, one thing that definitely helped me grow quickly in my career is my desire to take initiatives, learn everyday and consider feedback as a gift to keep growing. No matter what if you continuously push your boundaries and try to compete with yourself on a daily basis, you will grow super quick and not just that you will learn a lot on your way. I hope this helps & all the very best!! Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with and apologies for the slight delay in my response. Had a very busy day at work :)
The market situation is not that great now as you might be aware. Not just in Ireland but across the globe. There is a very tough competition for every job now including fresher roles due to the mass layoff situation everywhere. In general Finance professionals are much sought after but would be helpful if have 1-2 yrs of work experience which can give you an edge during your job search process. UCC is also a good place to study. Please let me know if you have any other questions for me.
Heyy bro!! Don’t worry at all. You will do great. One thing that I’d like to recommend is to start looking for full time jobs well ahead of time like atleast 3-4 months before you complete your Masters with the courses you have done and any project experience you might have through your college. This way you will stand a better chance of landing a job by the time you are done with your Masters. The hiring timelines have increased quite a lot and taking around 2 months at some companies. Please make sure to create an impressive resume with your academics and skillset. Feel free to share your resume with me at upyourgame20@gmail.com and I can help review your CV. Do believe in yourself and you’ll succeed for sure. All the very best and am always here to help if you need anything. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need anything from my side. Thanks!
