Haha thank you! I agree completely. Did my first driveway shovel of the year and did NOT love it. We really lucked out with the conditions on this trip, couldn’t have asked for more!
Beautiful photos. My wife and I drove down from Denver the first week of Oct. for our annual San Juan fall trip. We stayed in Ouray this year. It had snowed shortly before we got there so I got snow on the mountains for my shots. But we had blue skies while we were there so no moodiness from cloudy skies. Still a great trip overall..
Ah! That sounds beautiful. I bet you were there the weekend before us. If you were, I bet you had glorious fall color. A lot of the groves in that area seemed to be just past peak when we went through. That’s the challenge with fall. So many variables to contend with. Glad you got the shots and enjoyed your time out there!
YO! Now that image at 5:35 is something special. One of your best ever! Well done man... you gotta let me know next time you head out on these outings - you're always nailing the perfect moments!
Thank you! It only seems like I time it right because you don’t see all the times I get it 100% wrong haha. Far more misses than successes for sure. This is the first fall trip I’ve had where everything lined up.
I love the color version. Because that's kinda what fall is all about - photographically, right? But, i really like black and white landscape images. So, I'm a bit undecided but I might lean just a bit more toward the color version. Great video and images. Looking forward to the next installment.
Thank you, Terry! I agree with both sentiments. It feels “wrong” not to have the color but I just love black and white snow capped peaks. Thank you for watching and sharing your feedback, I appreciate it!
I agree & say, hang up one of each or swap them from time to time. I really like the color but when I looked at the B&W version my eye was drawn to some of the darker parts of the print that weren't noticed at first glance looking at the color & think it draws you to look deeper into the photo. Just before you mentioned the peak showing in-between the clouds, I said out loud, he was rite! Very nice work. Hope you brought Joe some breakfast or a shot & a beer, he deserves it. Great vid & looking toward to the next.
Haha thank you, Thomas. Glad I finally got something right! I didn’t get him breakfast or a shot but I did find a pretty epic waterfall location you’ll see in a couple of videos that I think redeemed myself.
Roman, in my next video you’ll see why I didn’t show the transparency. I made a horrible error in development and ruined several shoots worth of slides. It was absolutely heart breaking. This videos transparencies were the ones I was most excited for. I’ll explain more next weeks video. That’s why there haven’t been more film videos lately. I shot several videos and had to scrap them because I destroyed the film
Great shots!!! A trip for the ages.
Some may even say it was
“Mystical”
Great images!! It is difficult to decide which pano is better, color or B&W. Both are amazing. You are the Pano King of UA-cam.
Thank you, David! That’s quite a compliment. Definitely not one I deserve but one I will keep working towards!
Wonderful light out there! Not looking forward to the snow, but sure is pretty. Just have to locate my shovel! lol Wonderful images! Bruce and Otis

Great scenery! But would be nice to see 4x5 transparency sheet (Provia or Velvia) also. It's going to be really interesting.
