I’ve had pretty good luck with Ali Express… I have come to find that electronics take a while to ship

@ObscureTech It's tough to find Blackview with Band 66.. or any Chinese budget phones for that matter. Umidigi has tons but I have enty of those. I want Ulefone, Oukitel, or Doogee

Bark goin for the ASMR unwrapping!
Heres my issue with VR. (virtual ram). SSD storage has a finite number of re-writes. Once that limit is reached, that sector of memory is essentially now dead. Depending on usage, that limit can be hit within in a year for a heavy user. Some good SSD types can handle over 100k re-writes, however, lower end SSD types can only handle a few thousand re-writes. Think about how little that actually is. Mind blowing.
Wonder how much data this thing is sending back to the motherland? lol
Responsiveness seems pretty darn good though from what you were showing.

My counterpoint is….most people get new phones every year or two. So…fugg it
I’d say it’s sending EVERYTHING to the motherland lol

@@ObscureTech I cant deal with moving everything once every 5 years, can't imagine doing it more frequently. I don't place much importance on the device though either like some people do. I use it for calls, texts, some email and occasionally ill use it for some video if i need something quick and dirty.

@meistudiony I also don’t really rely on mine a ton…but it’s one of those things like audio gear. When I’m feeling down, grab a new device

Put that Moto G 5G 2024 it's a 720p display and it's pretty good too at least from my experience.

Considered grabbing one today on a $10 “upgrade” just to get in to video. Read it’s a little sluggish at times?

G54? Oh you know what, it might be the one for me. Around 150€ for 8g/256g, with OIS camera, NFC, headphone socket, huh... and relatively lightweight compared to so many bricks of today. No microSD socket but it's not exactly hurting for space. OEM replacement parts are available for when it's up for repair and not hideously expensive.

@@ObscureTech Oh no no i looked at Blackview and was not quite impressed enough for the 170€ i'd be paying for it. I meant the Moto G54 since the OP mentioned a Moto G. My number one brand of choice would actually likely be HMD-Nokia but i'm not convinced that i'm seeing something quite for me.
