Personally I think character development is fun in some ways, but then it's weirdly serious in modern SMG4. That's why the first reply says it's the downfall since many classic SMG4 fans don't like how SMG4 takes itself too seriously

The God Box actually sounds like a really interesting idea. Like, the box contains the power of gods and the box club is (they straight up just said) attempting to take over the world or something like that, and they kinda had a similarly vague introduction to the arcs new characters with the last one (introducing 1 and 2 as "psychos" that worship a god named Four) so this could indeed be the next one.
First off, these box guys are gonna be a new thing, aren’t they? Second, I have a feeling they actually might be a new story arc, considering that one of them actually has full voice acting
Coming back after watching Revelations, I'm just reminded how much of an impact joke characters can sometimes be. Even Melony was a joke character at first, but then in the evil crazy mask episode she got the fierce deity mask and that made her an interesting character that had a huge impact on the story and plot, even making Axol interesting. Anyway I'm running out of stuff to write

I love how the production quality has dramatically increased while keeping the same humor that it has had for years, seriously if you compare a vid from 4 years ago, to a video the was released a week ago the humor similarities would be crazy

It’s really good consistency on a story. Mario went to college because he succeeded on an exam (specifically maths (doubley specific because it’s an algebra exam)) for Meggy and Melony.

This is probably one of my favorite videos of this year so far. Very good balance of humor (similar to old SMG4) and plot content which can be turned into a really interesting beginning of another arc. Really liked the effort that has been put into this.
Thank you SMG4 and team. It was amazing to show how Meggy will grow to become a sports teacher and how Melony will control her powers (also wasn't expecting Bob, Boopkins and Luigi in the school in order to find their true passions int hose clubs). Also I bet SMG4 would be In the meme club learning about trends and what memes are relevant today, Saiko in a karate club because of fighting, Belle and Tari in the video game club, ROB in the sales club in order to sell corn and maybe (as a stretch that SMG3 would also take meme lessons to know what the life expectancy for a relevant meme is). 15/10 stars for the episode.

I’m gonna call it, the new arc is about summoning the God Box. You got the evil villain set up, a reason to stay in the college setting, and Mario as part of the villains. The twist is that the sacrifices won’t bring the God Box but is a ploy to get attention to the being that brought the SMG’s to bring more and/or revive Zero. Find me in 2022 if I got at least 10% correct

This is probably one of my favorite videos of this year so far. Very good balance of humor (similar to old SMG4) and plot content which can be turned into a really interesting beginning of another arc. Really liked the effort that has been put into this.
I like how it felt like an actual school theme. It was convincing and fun. Not every episode of SMG4 you can rewatch for more than just laughs.
Ngl, this is one of the most BOOOOOOORRRRRINNNNNG videos I have ever seen in SMG4.

Thank you SMG4 and team. It was amazing to show how Meggy will grow to become a sports teacher and how Melony will control her powers (also wasn't expecting Bob, Boopkins and Luigi in the school in order to find their true passions int hose clubs). Also I bet SMG4 would be In the meme club learning about trends and what memes are relevant today, Saiko in a karate club because of fighting, Belle and Tari in the video game club, ROB in the sales club in order to sell corn and maybe (as a stretch that SMG3 would also take meme lessons to know what the life expectancy for a relevant meme is). 15/10 stars for the episode.

Meggy was an asshole to her friends here. When they walked in college, she gets angry and acted like she didn't want them here, and she even rudely shushed Luigi like an asshole.
I’m gonna call it, the new arc is about summoning the God Box. You got the evil villain set up, a reason to stay in the college setting, and Mario as part of the villains. The twist is that the sacrifices won’t bring the God Box but is a ploy to get attention to the being that brought the SMG’s to bring more and/or revive Zero. Find me in 2022 if I got at least 10% correct
