Eres muy amable. Gracias. Me alegro de que hayas disfrutado el vídeo. Just in case this did not translate - You are very kind. Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks for your comment. I hope I am getting better with the editing - I think I am. I paint hydrangeas quite often - a more recent one might be better for you. Try this one. ua-cam.com/video/n6lTC0A0DC4/v-deo.html Best, CarolAnn.
Thank you for your comment. I have recently stopped using music as it is too difficult to manage correctly. Please see my latest videos. Thanks again. CarolAnn.
The video presentation was great! However, I found the music to be a poor choice and too loud. It grabbed my attention when I wanted to give my full attention to the tutorial.
I know what you mean. I do like the music myself, but my editing very likely was the problem - the music is not supposed to drown out my voice. I hope I m getting better at editing my videos. Thanks for your comment. Best regards, CarolAnn.
I enjoyed the beautiful tutorial. The music however is too loud and makes it difficult to concentrate on the teacher’s words. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Hello, this painting is beautiful!!!! Love your technique. Do you thin your paint with water or medium? I don’t think you let dry between layers but why do my Petals loose their definition? Thank you so much for sharing❤
You are very welcome. I'm glad you got something from it. If your petals loose definition I believe it might be because you have too much water in the paint or that the paint is too thin to start with. I have recently done a painting where I thickened my paint with acrylic paste. If you are using bottled acrylics these can be quite thin and a little paste might go a long way to thickening up the paint. To be honest, I have used cornstarch for this before now. It adds body to the paint. Hope this helps. Best, CarolAnn.
Thank you very much for your reply. I’m painting on leather binder. I use mostly golden or liquitex paint. I’m sure I added too much water. I assumed you were too. Sorry. I just love your style. I’m still not sure which I like best 😂😂😂. So fun. Thanks again, Patti
Thank you for your comment. I think I have improved with my editing these days. I will say there was not a great choice of music on the program I used to edit that video. I hope you will try a newer video and let me know what you think. Best, CarolAnn.
I think I am getting better with editing - music helps when I have nothing to say - I hope I'm improving. Thanks for your comment. Best Regards, CarolAnn.
To be honest I can't remember what I painted this one in but I think it might have been water mixable oil. These days I paint in acrylic - my more recent paintings. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Best, CarolAnn.
Lovely video. Perhaps a few soft classical pieces as background to address the other comments. Your voice is beautiful enough and the tutorial is excellent!! I can't wait to attempt your technique of painting my favorite flower.
Beautiful hydrangea painting. The left side of the video is in the shadow to much so it makes it difficult to see the painting. Would love to see close up of the brush strokes to help understand how brush is being manipulated to make the flower. Thanks for the video & sharing your talents😊❤
Thank you so much 😀 I think I am getting better at editing in my more recent video. Thank you for your very nice comment. I do appreciate that. Best, CarolAnn.
I just love your painting because after I watched I went back to my by then wiped out canvas and started. You are such an inspiration and I love your style. Thank you dear, sweet lady, God bless. (Jan. 16/22).
I don't actually aim to teach - simply share my painting experience. There is no metallic paint and so I think what you might see is French Ultramarine mixed with Raw Umber which gives a grey color. I mostly use medium sized paint brushes - hardly ever small and often Flats 1/4 to 3/4 inch. I think I used a philbert brush for the petals about a 1/4 inch across. My brushes are so old the sizing numbers have worn off. Hope this helps.
@@CarolAnnsArt Thank you Carol, I edited my post above after I watched your video again. I see your brush is old but that's what gives the painting character. It's lovely and I wouldn't say simple, again thanks.
Hi Belle, There are about 180+ that I have put up over the years. I don't know why you are not seeing them - and I am not good at finding my way around websites. I depend on my kids to help me with modern technology. Good luck.
Music is annoying. Too loud. Would just like to hear you. Painting beautiful.
Thanks for your feedback. I hope to improve my editing as I make more videos. Thanks for the painting compliment. Much appreciated.
Put the music just softer
WOOW: ¡¡LUMINOSO Y CREMOSITO!! WOOOW.

love your techniques. Your painting is beautiful!
Thank you. That is very kind of you.
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
I get it! I wish we had help on all the stuff that takes us away from actually creating ... like lighting and marketing and selling and such ❤️
I need six employees although that would be a pain
Exceellent

excellent ideas for technique. Thank you. Subscribed!
Welcome! Thank you. I appreciate your comment.
Love this
Thanks. I appreciate your comment.
Gorgeous
How kind of you. Thank you for the comment. Best, CarolAnn.
Love your work, what kind of brushes do you use. 😊
Thank you. To be honest, cheap ones. I get them from Michaels. I use long handled ones so that you don't see the back of my hand when I paint.
Bit of a struggle to hear your voice over the music.
Thanks for your comment. I hope I am getting better with the editing - I think I am. I paint hydrangeas quite often - a more recent one might be better for you. Try this one. ua-cam.com/video/n6lTC0A0DC4/v-deo.html Best, CarolAnn.
I learned a few things but wishedthe painting had better lighting. I had trouble seeing it as well as I needed to
I'm glad my sharing helped you - and I'm experimenting with lighting - got myself a clip on light but it throws shadows so still looking.

Lovely. Easy to follow. Music too loud though.
Thanks for the 'Lovely". Sorry about the music - I am getting better at editing:) I hope.
Yes, music is to loud. Love your lesson
Thank you.
Please lower the music
Can't understand.you.

The music is too distracting 1:11
Thank you for the comment. I think I am getting better at editing.
Rock concert in background eliminated any hope of hearing anything of interest
Thanks for feedback. Have turned down the music in more recent video - Getting better at video editing.
You are so talented…do you ever paint these on a black canvas?..thank you for sharing with us
Thank you for your nice comment. No I don't use black canvas - it just does not appeal to me somehow.
The video presentation was great! However, I found the music to be a poor choice and too loud. It grabbed my attention when I wanted to give my full attention to the tutorial.

@@CarolAnnsArt I love the painting… and the music!
No music please!
Sorry you don't like the music. I like the music but am turning it lower in more recent videos. Thanks for your comment.
Just Beautiful! Would like try it. Thank you for sharing! 💜
Thank you! 😊 Much appreciated.
The background music is entirely unnecessary and is incredibly annoying. Your painting is lovely. Ditch the music, please!
I had thought about it as there really isn't much good music available. Thanks for your comment
I enjoyed the beautiful tutorial. The music however is too loud and makes it difficult to concentrate on the teacher’s words. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you for your comment. I think I am getting better at editing videos.
Beautiful. I love the way you explain and demonstrate. Would you please let us know what brushes you are using.
Thank you. So kind of you. I mostly paint with 3/4 inch or 1/2 inch flats and I use a liner brush for fine lines and a round - largish for petals.
Beautiful painting but please ditch the music. It interferes with what you are saying.
Thanks for your input - I have done exactly that in my more recent videos - ditched the music. Thanks again. CarolAnn.
This is amazing. Thanks for it and what a beautiful soundtrack!
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it.

The music is louder than your voice of instruction. Further, the type of music you have chosen is actually distracting!!!!

What medium did you paint with.?
I used acrylic paint for this one. @@luharris-burr9913
