Thank you for taking the time to do this
Debating on getting a drone with either 2.4ghz elrs or 915mhz what is the difference in responsiveness? Is it very noticeable for your stick imputs?
I don't notice, but I'm not a racer, I'm a pretty casual/slow flyer. I'm flying digital so there would be some latency from that as well, but I don't notice that either. There is more selection for the 2.4ghz as it is more common. The 900mhz is still easy to get, lots of options on aliexpress, just not as much as 2.4ghz.
What happened with the second flight? Didn't look like a failsafe still in high 90s LQ and only -88dbm?
So based on your results 2.4 vs 900 didnt have much difference in range?
I didn't really notice any, but it was clear line of sight for the flights. I would like to try again in an area with obstacles in the way of the signal as I still think 900mhz gives a more robust link. Maybe I would notice a difference with more distance too.
@@reileymckerracher9181 I'm more interested in obstacles than distance. As in flying through dense trees close to the ground.
I’m just getting my feet wet with ELRS and was wondering if, what’s the difference between the RP1 ELRS 2.4 and the RP3 ELRS 2.4. Does one have more range?
@@dronepilot260rc i dont think theres much of a different in performance, except for the diversity models. wouldnt call my self noob but im no "know it all"
Thanks for summing it all up in the table at the end. I was having a hard time keeping track of all the variables between tests
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you found it useful!
