If you really want to have a great time, process a few tons of honey and invite a few of your good friends to help you do it. That's exactly what happens in this video, and we got the job done in less than 6 hours. I hope you enjoy the video as much as we did making it. God's peace to all. Mr. Ed - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Those harvested boxes at the end of the video are like Christmas to the bees! You can hear how excited they are.
Another great harvest and another great video. Thanks Mr. Ed.
They’re not excited they’re pissed off that all their honey was stolen
@@Astronurd nah bro, you can't stand in the middle of a bunch of pissed off bees like Mr. Ed is doing. You can tell by the pitch of the sound that those are happy bees!
Those bees excited to find honey to rob. As for them being pissed off, I will disagree. The bees didn't have all their honey stolen. Mr. Ed wouldn't do that to those bees. He left them with enough groceries to get thru the winter.
Wow, that is a great group of people helping out with the honey processing!! Its amazing every time I watch how easy it is to wash down everything with just water. After all the hard work, in the end, your bee's get a fest from the box's outside. Giving back to the bee's for all there work making that honey for the Abbey. God Bless!!
What a great day! Thank you for letting me participate.
I enjoy seeing you all together. Sad i live so far away.
Mandy hands make light work… God Bless u all 🐝🙏🏼
You even had Dirt Rooster there helping. 😆
Thank God for great friends because there is nothing fun looking about all that when it's cleanup time. But that crowd is the difference. Enjoyed it
👏👏👏👏👍👍👋🙏 HEAVENLY BLESSED HONEY
💐JOBS WITH YOUR SWEET HONEY PRODUCE & YOUR
CONSIENCIOUS TEAM!!!!! 👋☦🇬🇷
First class honey haus!
The bees certainly did a wonderful job for again this year! God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Jeff! I mean, Mr. Ed, that is, haha! Today is the feast day of a Franciscan Beekeper, Bl. Solanus Casey. July 30th. You should celebrate some way. Eat some honey at least, ok! Haha! We love you guys. Is the monastery you help a Benedictine one?
God bless you! 🌻🐝🕯
St. Joseph Abbey is a Benedictine monastery. Thank you for your blessings and for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Back a few years I decided to process frames in a new way without making a mess. Took much more time than my old way. I now just make the mess but made cleaning it up easier.......
Man what a fun video. Mike and Julio were hilarious. Glad I got to meet The Bug Farmer, Julio and Mumphead. Thanks for letting me come this time.
Always excited when I see you working, I have started my bee farm. I believe one day I will need your assistance on the machines. From Ghana, God bless you.
I wish you all the best for your future endeavors, and I will gladly give you guidance on your journey. God's peace Fati.
Mr. Ed
Bug Farmer sent me over. Looking forward to more content.👍
I wish the lids of the honey extractor would be LOWERED to prevent possible personal HARM. Please be be careful.
Oh my money would have been on rooster for being the one who cries first
🤣🤣
God bless !
The cleanup was a lot easier (looking) than I expected, I figured you'd be using high pressure hot water, instead you've just got what looks like a run of the mill garden hose and cold water.
Very interesting watch.
Like I said, easy as can be, and all the washed out honey is flushed from the building and winds up on the ground where the bees will then eat it. Thanks for watching, and I hope to hear from you again on more of my bee wrangling adventures. God's peace Joe.
Mr. Ed
Mr. Ed and Busy BEE'S Factory ! Really great the way you show the process you guys remove your honey for the Abby BEEsness !! ♥️♥️🙏🙏🐝🐝🐝
Awesome to see you guys coming together to extract honey for the Abbey in the name of the Lord. Thank you for sharing.
You guy's always look like you're having fun! Love your videos!
Every adventure is a blessing and we look forward to sharing them with all who care to partake. Thank you very much for watching and following along. Until the next one, God's peace Gary.
Mr. Ed
11:54 I’m crying already. ;)
I sure hope everybody got a jar of honey for their hard work. I mean, spending the day with you is fun and all, but I would want some honey. Lol
AMEN and what a deal. Fine crew but missing old pal Ralph but all is well! The last was like when my old 5-string picker had his 200+ hives above his house and all you saw and heard from the road was bees and very loud humms. Gods Peace to ALL and Happy Weekend TOO!
Yayyy! I was hoping for a honey video from you! I saw the short and thought maybe you weren't going to do a longer video this year! So excited to see all the fun! Thanks for sharing all the un-bee-lieveable goodness! Much love! 💛
Happy Birthday Ms. Patty!
LOL. . At 1:18 Mike is like no no no. . Great Crew. Bug Farmer, Mike Barry and others. If I was closer I'd offer a hand as well. Speaks volumes to see that many come to help out and get everything harvested.
How blessed you are to have such good friends who are willing to help you harvest all of this honey.
My goodness you have a team there to help god bless every one
Amazing! Wish I was there to help! -Lauren "Rookie Wrangler"
There's always next year. Thanks for watching. God's peace Lauren.
Mr. Ed
Thanks for a great video.... I have been missing your group's contagious laughter
I absolutely love these honey videos, I wish I could partake in the hobby but unfortunately I am allergic to bees. Support your local honey producers!
So sorry to hear about you being allergic to stings, so many folks are. Still, you can follow along with my adventures without any worries. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my over 450 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video almost every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Zane.
Mr. Ed
that guy screaming when he picked up the bucket was HILARIOUS!! I actually laughed out loud.....too funny!!! good job all of you!!
Happy Bees, Happy People, Happy God watching as his creations work together as he intended.
Always good to see everyone happy!
If you could package the smell of that room, at this point, you'd have another product to sell in the gift shop. It must be heavenly!
Two weeks later and it smells the exact same. God's peace Hans.
Mr. Ed
at the end that is the sound of some happy bees.
Great friends are such a Blessing.
God bless you and the work you do my brother, with love Matt from Battletown Kentucky
Hey Jeff, that was a great video, I sure want to come and visit you someday and help out too. I'm sure I'll fit in with a bunch of characters like yourselves. My plan is to go back to India in late October and I'll be there for about 2 months. While there I'm going to try and go up to the saffron fields of Kashmir and get honey right from the area. Yes, of course I'll give a some of it. God bless you and all your work.
You'd bee more than welcome to help with the extracting and join in on the fun. I'm always looking for the honey you send, it's the best of the best. Safe travels and God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
4200 Lbs. Wow. You are one tough dude hauling those deep boxes full of honey. Stainless Palace in full swing and a nice crew. That uncapper/tank is glorious! Congrats Jeff, quite a haul for the Abby.
I like all your videos but processing the honey are my favorite!
Amazing family work 👌💪🤗
We are all friends who donate our time and energy for the benefit of the monks here at Saint Joseph Abbey. It's a great place. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr.Ed
Happy Happy People
Wow, that'll be a significant amount of folding green to be spent on more good works..
JUST LOVE THAT GOD GIVEN GOODNESS "THANKYOU JESUS".
Thanks for showing the cleanup! Much less complicated then I imagined!
You all work fast when you get together, fun as always
Simply Beeautiful!!! God bless you brother and your team!!!
You all just fill my heart with joy.
Whoo! And I thought my 25 Gal was a lot. Deeps sure do get heavy when full of honey.
Congrats. Looks like the Abby will be well stocked.
Good morning
Equipment working well. Great people. Nice harvest. Blessings for sure. God bless. Thanks for the video.
Amazing team. God bless you❤️ Greetings from Poland
Can't wait to watch it all 🧡🧡🧡🧡
lots of hard work but all worth it good job great group
I was an English tutor for many years. Scraping has only one P, and what you wrote is to scrap the wax. Or maybe you ARE scrapping the wax you scraped off the floor. It is a grammatical rule. But being a Yankee and originally from the north, that English teacher in my just cannot stay quiet. GBY.
"that English teacher in my" ??? The demon Muphry is strong again today ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muphry%27s_law )
Tku. Hard work, but exciting.
17:50 the best part of the extraction videos...
Looks like a great time!
It really was, great friends and fellowship. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
THANK YOU JESUS!!! Thank you to everyone there too. Thanks Jeff and Charlie, I enjoyed all of it.
You make me smile, thanks.
Thank you for showing all the work that is envolved in the clean up!
Mrs Patty is so sweet
Mona is a beautiful lady. You have a lovely fiancee'. Hope you two last forever. God bless you and the crew. Now send me a jar of honey. Ha Ha. You would have a whole new side business, cottage industry? if you sent everyone who wants it honey from the Abbey. That is a more local thing. But I loved every drop of this pure liquid gold.
Can’t you get the bees to clean up the mess for you, haha!
Only on the outside of the honey house, they like to poop everywhere so they are not invited inside. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
That was lovely. God bless you all!
Salam.
So glad you did the clean up its the biggest job sometimes
I thought y’all bought a capping spinner last year . I guess y’all spin the cappings after placing in barrels? Would it be less time consuming to just pump the honey capping mix directly into the spinner ? It’s just a thought. I haven’t been able to pull any honey this year yet . It’s been just way to hot and humid for me , a CAD patient. Then this past week I have been down with a double ear infection. A bummer. I’m praying the good lord will help the bees ward off any hive beetles until I can get the supers pulled. Prince George, Virginia.
Next weeks video shows the honey/wax separator cleaning up all our wax. Stay tuned. I give an explanation as to why it is not used during the uncapping process. God's peace Christian.
Mr. Ed
I noticed Randy didn't stay around for clean up...LOL
Glad i did not start typing! I was going to say you should run the wash on a surface ,to recycle the sugar water .
Awesome job 👍👍👍👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
What a joyful bunch!!
What a fantastic crew you had this time! I really love that you use only water for clean up and that it all washes outside for the bees to take up whatever they can use from the leftovers. AND, what a magical thing to see the 100's of thousands of bees all there cleaning up the boxes for you so they can be used again. That sound at the end was music to my ears. Sounded like you were in the middle of a swarming hive!
I really admire your system and that you do natural bee keeping. I firmly believe that this method is a must to save our precious bees from complete collapse. That, and the establishment of hives of bees that are NATIVE to the areas they reside. All this transporting of hives all over the country from hot humid to even hotter dry desert-like conditions, etc. is such a shock to these hives. Native bees evolve to be hearty and survive the weather, pests, etc. in the area they're from. We need to start keeping them put and establishing healthy wild bee colonies all over the country to seed our dispersed, regional apiaries rather than trucking them all over the place...
God bless you all for what you do in service of the bees and for the spreading of Love, and for sharing it with the world!
It's like the dream team coming together, never a dull moment!
Thanks Mr. Ed , this is a good video to watch ! Have a great day !
You show such joy for what you do. It's why I watch all your videos. I can see that you take it seriously and that you find real joy in it. That's a whole mess of honey!
It goes to show how well you have engineered the honey hut. As the amount of honey has increased over the years, I can't imagine how this would have gone without that design!
Yay! I always wanted to see a little bit about how you clean up after processing--you may have shown it before, but this is the first time I've seen it. I'm guessing you're using warm water? OH WOW! I just caught sight of your heat boards in front of the garage doors! Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? We get a LOT of heat coming into our garage in the afternoon, and since it's attached to the house, it kinda heats up the house a little bit, too. But Ima grab some of those! Learn something new every day. (subject change) You've been talking about scaling back your bees so they're more manageable, how's that going? Are you hitting your target, or you still need to scale back a bit more? And is this the last flow of the season, or do you have one more later on in the fall?
Cold water is all I use, warm or hot starts melting the wax cappings making clean up even more difficult. We dropped down to about 150 hives which is where I want to bee. Next Spring I will be selling bees once again. We have one more minor flow in the fall, our goldenrod. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Y'all are a whole bunch of great people. Your videos and friendship are truly what lifes about. Watching this makes me want to live closer to be part of that! God bless!
Love the sense of teamwork and camaraderie - keep the videos coming cos Im watching !!
The Trough in the Floor draining outside is absolute BRILLIANCE!!! I am surprised when you said it was cold water, it cleaned everything up so well. I actually thought it was hot water. Thank you for showing the clean up, very appreciated. Many hands make light work. Exceeding Abundant Blessing to everyone! Great job!!!
Good work 👍 from kullu manali Hp ❤️
4:52 A new meaning to “ a ‘deep’ “ lol.
It's too bad that the DIRT ROOSTER didn't stay that long, because HE'S GOOD COMPANY for ALL OF YOU. :)
I dropped a like for world famous mike Barry
Good morning.
Thank you for sharing this…it is so relaxing!!
Very inspiring, thank you!
We really had a great honey crop this year, a real blessing from God. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video. I appreciate it tremendously. And in case you did not know, I post a new video every Friday, and I would hope you could check some of those out or a few of the 500 that I have already posted. Until the next one, God's peace Tyler.
Mr. Ed
I always love your videos. Looks like the Lord gave you a great harvest in exchange for your love and care for your bees. He is so good! God bless!
I’m thrilled with 100+ lbs for my first year but hope someday to step things up to that higher level
1 excellent frame with 8 lbs of honey. $12 or more per pound, makes that one frame worth $100, give or take (retail).
I see Dirt Rooster in the house too 😊😊
What a blessing to have so many people to help.
I always love watching this process. This is what it is all about. Take care and God Bless you and the gang. Tim
The roosta just wandering in circles, made me laugh!!! That's one big crop of honey Jeff! 🍯
This was real nice I enjoyed this processing plant harvesting. Haven't reach that stage yet but in a few more years this will be my goal here in St. Lucia.
I sincerely hope you will reach your goal as well. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Hello Mr Ed, que satisfação ver o trabalho que essas abelhas dão, e a união dessa família e amigos, parabéns, que DEUS abençoe a todos. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
Its absolutely amazing to watch you and your friends process so many frames, the phrase a well oiled machine comes to mind. I find it remarkable that there is so little waste, even the water from the drains has a use. The closing of you and the bees was beautiful reminder man and nature working together . God bless
Sacré équipe amitié les apiculteurs 🐝
Awesome video Impressive work!! I see no link for merch. You need to sell a tee shirt that says, "I work for honey!"
With all the things I do here at St. Joseph Abbey, there really is no time for me to sell merchandise, but I thank you for inquiring and for taking the time to watch the video. Also, I hope you will check out more of my over 500 bee wrangling/ bee rescue adventure videos and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video almost every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Curt.
Mr. Ed
I had a great time.
Thanks for beeing there Joey, you were a great help as were they all. God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
It’s great to see you all like a big family
