The thing about your aokiji point is that Aokiji wasn’t at a disadvantage against Akainu. Their fruits simply cancelled each other out. Aokiji doesn’t have the ice fruit. He has the Hie hie no mi, which translates to cold or chilly. He has the Cold cold fruit. Meaning he can manipulate the temperature of things, making them colder. Aokiji and Akainu’s fruits likely cancel each other out both by cooling magma and melting ice.
Kinda weird since it sounds like ice in Spanish, and most his named attacks are named after ice. And he's a logia, so temperature alone is not really an element or substance.
The Gotosei are clearly writen to be significantly bigger threats then anything we have seen previously. Warcury is clearly implied to have haki well above what we have seen from any other character (barring joyboy). Let alone them being summoned by saturn seems to imply that they have limitations to what they are able to do (in the summoning range) and they are still immortal as far as we can tell ignoring that. Only one of their own attacks reflected back at them did any damage. None of the admirals other then maybe fujitora? have any way to displace them far enough away from the summoning range like mars and none of the admirals have been shown to have haki feats anywhere near enough to damage them as even luffys was completely outclassed
I agree, I always thought the narrative was heavily implying that the Gorosei are simply on a different level. Just looks at the way they casually disrespect and dismiss Akainu in Dressrossa.

No they wouldn’t lol. The admirals have trash durability whilst Warcury is tanking attacks that damaged Kaido. Kizaru literally got one shotted by luffy’s attacks and we know for a fact luffy was holding back since if he fought kizaru the way he fought Kaido it would’ve been over way sooner

1:33 nah we aint moving on, blud said enough to discredit the rest. the gorosei are imortal so as long as they are relevant to the admirals (which they are) then they win by default. the only way the gorosei lose is if someone like a yonko or joy boy fights them and gaps them in strength. the argument for kizaru is also pretty weak since saturn is also reacting to the same gear 5 luffy that tagged kizaru (kaido himself is slower than kizaru but kizaru sure as hell aint beating kaido.).

Kizaru is a bum that speed blitzed by Shanks, one shotted by Luffy normal g5 attack twice
Fuji is much better with his supreme blade but anyway it doesn't help too much
Aramaki is Kizaru+(with not supreme blade) and Fuji lvl with supreme
Aokidji and Akainu are comparable in power but regeneration makes it a humiliation
@@Ap7-b4k Saturn wasn’t confirmed to hurt warcury. The giants were behind luffy at the time and they could just be guessing that warcury was “blown to bits” by the explosion. Nothing indicates he took damage.
Nusjuro cannot “one slice any admiral.” Nothing supports that.
Kizaru getting speed blitzed by shanks isn’t canon and the one statement that few people use to try to prove that is way too broad to be viable.
It took all of luffy’s time limit and his FP just to “one shot” a nerfed kizaru.

Mars did damage Luffy with flames, but it’s not like the admirals don’t have AP like that on their side as well. Akainus DF simply being superior to fire, bodying the most AP out of any DF including all DF’s shown in egghead, and akainu logically (through narrative, portrayel and statements) likely being able to also dmg g5 luffy makes it so that akainu has outright superior AP anyway. It can also be argued that the luffy that mars hurt was worn out anyway.
The only things the gorosei have are regeneration and warcurys durability.
The gorosei lack the speed to even hit the admirals too.
If they couldn’t regenerate, the admirals would make quick work of every member of the gorosei except warcury, and then they all just jump warcury in the end. This works especially because you can make a case that akainus AP is over luffy’s, meaning warcury being able to tank an attack from Luffy doesn’t mean he can do the same to akainus punch.
Mind you, this is even being a bit generous since realistically, warcury only tanked an unnamed attack from g5, which means his durability isn’t even as impressive as I was making it out to be. Akainu should be enough for him without regeneration meanwhile the other admirals are enough for the other gorosei without regen.
The only thing that carries the gorosei in fights is regen. That’s the reason why the gorosei can technically beat all yonko and admirals in the story right now.
Luffy literally couldve used advance conquerors and future sight anytime he wanted but chose not to. The fight lasted that long because Luffy was held back by oda like oda says he always holds muffy back@jikey173

When did Saturn make Warcury regenerate? If you're talking about the bombs Saturn used at Luffy, it was never shown that he was damaged by it. Only his silhouette was shown after the explosion, not him actually getting damaged/regenerating.
@@Meatfruit It's told as him Regenerating and likely the reason why Luffy called out all of them can Regenerate as all the ones he's seen showed the ability Saturn obviously, Warcury, and uh... That Worm that got chopped by the Giants. The only time Warcury is damaged outside of that is Emeth! Breaking a whole tusk which I'm pretty sure is regenerated before they get BRF'D away most likely because Saturn couldn't keep the Summoning he started.
I also don't think it's the Silhouettes as Luffy mentions they are Immortal and they likely would still be able to see them in the fire also writing/drawing wise what's the point of that.
If they wanted to convey that did no damage they could have put smoke there instead of a fire like pannel or just put Saturn in the Fire and Warcury in smoke or many other ideas.
The Silhouettes also aren't drawn as clear and Luffy would likely have a more clear idea of seeing them within the story and if Warcury could be damaged he would just focus on him more instead of them all sort of being like the same and him later on blasting one of them off.
@@zelz3011 I think the silhouettes are just a stylistic choice because a similar thing happened when we saw them transform for the first time and when they arrived in egghead. It wouldn't make sense if Saturn has massively more attack power than every other gorosei.

1st: It could still be inferior to the possible abilities held by the other Gorosei such as the one with the sword and the full power of Warcury as we've seen Saturn's Beast Form and Hybrid Form. (I didn't even realize the full spider was their beast form). Where as with Warcury, Ju Peter, and Marcus Mars we've only seen their Beast Forms Awakened and not their Hybrid Forms or say if they have anything like how Kaido has his like Flame Bagua.
2: Poison. We also know that Poison they had normally in their legs can burn a tree and probably negs things due to some acid like or heat properties so when that explodes in a possible stronger attack yeah it could really do some damage.
3: It could be an aspect of their devil fruit and the weird abilities the Elders have Saturn is based on the Gyuki/Ushi-Oni and they are known to spit poison and have like incurable illnesses (Which I have theories on) Maybe one way this aspect is shown is with maybe the idea that they might be able to spread illness or just destruction that far outscales their own durability. Or there is more to the attack.
I just don't see why Luffy on the pannel when like trying to flee would say they're immortal and why Warcury would be there.
I also feel like if that's the case as a writing Decision Oda did good to show they can also regenerate to give this trait to effectively all the Elders we see without having Luffy Harm their crazy durability by having it be something else.

The gorosei are obviously written to be bigger threats than the admirals. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fanboy and is actively arguing against the creator himself. Warcury alone destroys them. The admirals serve them not the other way round
Gorosei are just as strong as Emperors and Admirals and there is only one thing that keeps them apart is their regenerative capabilities which is practically a cheat code even against the more strongest opponent.

In my opinion magellan is stronger than the yonko commanders considering how none of the impel escapees even wanted to attempt to take him down. Unfortunately he did get defeated at impel down offscreen but a bunch of the level 6 escapees but i bet he took a lot of them out before he got dropped.
Oda is saving the admirals awakenings for the final arc. Kizaru, Akainu, Green bull and Aokiji would drastically change the environment and bodies with their awakening. Can’t wait for this.
Awakening might cripple the regen factor of the gorosei too

So much bum arguments. The admirals outscale them in almost anything the only thing mentioned here was hax due to IMU controlling them and letting them be immortal. That’s quite pathetic since you could bring anyone against them and anyone would eventually lose including Mihawk Shanks Dragon or BB. It’s a plot hole but the attempt to make it look like Admirals would be standing no chance while anyone would do the same since they can regen is quite pathetic.
Akainu high diffs all the Gorosei in a 1v1
Gorosei quite literally have no good AP feats, like at all. Name me one character that was of significant strength that they managed to seriously damage, hell, name me ANY character they managed to damage. That’s not to mention the reduction amount of anti feats they all had, I can straight up mention 10 of them in this arc alone.
Warcury was able to damage emeth, mars was also able to destroy the barrier, and even if there ap is not that high they still win with there regent so it doesn't matter
So here is a question if you throw a gorosi in a volcano hole and hold him there does the magma burn him to the point there is nothing to regen or does he regen faster than the magma

They fought Sanji Luffy Zoro pacifista Gear 5 Bonney they have had more fighting panels than Garp Dragon Shanks and Mihawk

Say it with me: "The Gorosei are regen merchants! " I know it's part of their kit, but they get their ass handed without it. There will be some sort of way to get past their regen. And once it's gone there ain't gonna be able to compete. Someday they will have to die somehow.

@@hyliantendo Why? I recognize that their regen is part of what makes them strong and immortal at the moment. But at some point, we will find out how to get past that. And once we do I don't think they are that impressive combat-wise. But this could change because we haven't seen all of their hybrid forms yet.

Magellan solos the gorosi
The admirals demolish and it isn’t close. The gorosei’s stats all suck except for warcury’s dura specifically. Meanwhile kizaru, without the use of haki, brought a holding back G5 luffy to his limit alone. Meanwhile it took 3 gorosei to do the same. He’s right, it isn’t fair, but the result is the exact opposite. In a 1v1 between these titles, the admirals > the gorosei. All of them can BFR except ARGUABLY Greenbull, but he can restrain them endlessly and continue draining their nutrients.
Bro the point is that they cannot be killed, even if the admirals beat them too many times they'll just come back, the gorosei would ultimately win the end

They can’t survive in the water, and BFR is a valid win con, and Ryokygyu’s stamina can last as long as they can regenerate so he just holds them down forever.

We literally don’t see this. Warcury jumped after the ship and emmet punched him back onto land. Never even touched the ocean. Same with Saturn, never even touches the ocean. They were still boarding the ships when they attacked, they were quite literally at most 20ft away from land, and the gorosei are individually like 30ft long. They just got knocked back onto land. They all have awakened zoan smoke and venusjuro has a hybrid form, and they all have human and awakened forms. Ur just using head cannon, every sign points to DF.
