So cute! We got to see a wom-butt, lol! Ooo, Hayley and Bertie, yay! I adore Bertie! He looks just like Elsa! Eeek! A tarantuala! Im arachnophobic. I wouldnt come within 15 yards of it! And snakes? Just as scary. I give them a VERY wide berth!
Hugo sure does love his watermelon! The smaller tortoises looked like they were eating brains, pol! I think tree kangaroos are so neat!
Im coming to Sydney in a couple months. I want to pat Bertie, Olaf and Elsa! And Irene! The whole family!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🐨

G'day @ecclestonsangel a visit to ARP is AWESOME!, I was born at Gosford & went many times to the old site when I was a kid & the new site is even better. I love the fact that they post to YT & Facebook as I live down the South Coast now making it a 4hr trip each way so can't visit as often as I would like.
Not only is it a great day where you get to interact with many of the residents but you can learn so much at the talks they do with the help of staff during the day.

@@shaneeslick ohhh! That sounds really wonderful! Tim runs a great place, no doubt. I adore all the Elsa videos! I can't wait to meet her! I'm starting in Sydney, then heading north to Tuckurimba and Lismore, and Byron Bay, too. I was considering Bondi, but I'm terrified of jellyfish, so......not too sure I want to chance it. Then I'll head up to Brissie, and the Gold Coast, then head south to Hamilton, near Melbourne, as well as Adelaide and points west in SA. I'm seriously considering heading west to Rottnest, so I can be mobbed by quokkas, lol! I plan to spend a fortnight in New Zealand, too. I'm staying for three months, so I can see what I want to see at my own pace.(I'm physically handicapped, so it's rather difficult to get around) I wanted to go up to Alice Springs and check out Brolga's kangaroo sanctuary, but people keep telling me that NT is really dangerous, so now, I'm not sure.
I can't wait to come to your beautiful country! Our countries have a lot in common- we're friendly, we live in huge countries, we have states, we're bordered on both sides by oceans, and we share an ocean boundary- the Pacific. I live on the East Coast of the US, so I frolic in the Atlantic. I like the Atlantic better than the Pacific. It's more wild. You can get some good waves in the Atlantic! I can't surf worth beans, but I can boogieboard!

@@ecclestonsangel I too Boogieboard (Can't do a surfboard either🙄) as I also have disabilities due to a head injury in the past, while I can walk I shake similar to Parkinson's plus have ballance issues making me awkward on uneven ground.
There are all the "😱ALL the Animals want to kill you!" comments but really from coming from Aussies it is just our sense of humour, but when serious like Croc Tours that only applies to STOOPID people who do not listen to the guides, read the signs or have any respect for the Animals.
All the Best for your Holiday, as there are so many things to see & do from the Exciting to the Tranqil I am sure you will have a Wonderful time.

@@shaneeslick my brother was nearly killed in a motorcycle qccident a couple of decades ago or so, and suffered a deep cerebral hematoma. They couldn't do surgery, because it was too deep in his brain, so they had to wait for the swelling to come down. Amazingly, his brain rerouted itself around the injury, and he regained his intelligence. He will always walk with a limp, though, but you'd never know he'd been so close to death.
I was hit by a car nearly twenty years ago. It damaged my spine and destroyed my equilibrium. Uneven surfaces will make me fall. I have no sense of balance any more. Half the time, I stagger so much I look like I'm drunk! You get used to it after awhile.
I'd very much like to go see Brolga's sanctuary up in Alice Springs. I want to see Roger's statue, and I want to see his son, Monte, who runs the mob now. I think kangaroos are adorable. I love koalas the most. And yes, I know about the Drop Bear, so they can't scare me with that. My bff runs a wild koala sanctuary in Tuckurimba. She can't wait for me to get there! I just know I'm gonna have a blast!

@@ecclestonsangel Yeah 🦘🦘🥰 are AWESOME! especially the 2 headed ones, at ARP they roam free so like the Koalas you will be able to pat & feed them.
I feel for you & your brother, my head injury was from being kicked in the head with Steel Capped Boots, it fractured my skull, eye socket & cheek in many places as well as causing inner ear damage, I understand some days it is a real battle to do what you want & how emotional it can be learning to live with, but yeah we need to keep doing our best to make our lives the best they can be.
Ps 2 headed Kangaroos is what I call the mums with joeys, 😲The look on peoples faces when I ask if they have seen one 😂.
