I used to order chicken tava and cheesy bread when I did a TDY at Incirlik 15 years ago and I still crave it to this day. Every now and then I try to find it in the states with no luck. Thanks for the video

Spice mix is just Tomato paste, oregano and sumac. I spent some time in their kitchen too with a translator. Sorry for the delay but I just found this video lol.

I used to LOVE this dish when I lived there. one of my favorite places to go. We'd eat on the rooftop under the Moonlight.

how I made this, one serving:
1 fresh chicken breast cut into cubes
    12 ounces diced tomatoes
1/4 portion of a white onion (thinly sliced)
1/4 portion of a red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
    heaping handful of diced mushrooms
    6-8 ounces mozzarella
    1tbs chili paste
    1tsp crushed red pepper
    1tsp black pepper
    1tsp garlic powder
    1tsp paprika
    1tsp oregano
    1/2tsp salt
cooked at 350 for about 30min
if i missed something or you have something to add, please comment.

I'd love to go back to Incirlik just for the chicken tava at Moonlights, Mujdat's and other places.

Where was Moonlight? When I was stationed there back in the early 90's, The Red Onion and BP Restaurant were the two places to go.

Moonlight was right across from the front gate when I was there circa 1995. Mujdat's was my favorite though.

Did you ever find out what spices they use? looked like red crushed pepper but sure there was more to it then just that.
