as an italian, my parents wouldn’t let me go anywhere and wouldn’t let me have my phone for two months even tho i barely did anything, they threatened to throw a garbage can at me, they yelled at me for an hour once, and forced me to stay locked in the car for a certain amount of time (don’t remember how long)
