A real drummer tunes his own drums for the application they are playing for!
The drummer can MOST definitely tune his own drums! The job of a technician is to make sure everything is straight then the musician can make their own tweaks.

I've seen Chris Dave on two occasions, he very meticulous about his setup and sound. Both times I've seen him he tuned his entire kit minus the bass drum.

From the look and sound 99.9% sure it’s a Remo Powerstroke 77 Coated…. Sometimes big time drummers get stuff customized from companies
