I really like how much easier the story is to understand in this game without giving too much away at the same time, compared to other souls especially dark souls and elden ring didn't have to watch shit tons of lore videos to get what was happening it all pretty much made sense half the time in elden ring or dark souls idk why I'm doing something or fighting bosses besides the cool loot

@AscendedKaard trust me when I say this game is an absolute masterpiece and deserved the win. As tough as it is, the story, combat, and visuals are still some of FromSoftware’s best!! I still boot it up every so often just to get that rush of beating a boss!!
Please I need this in Japanese, the only other video on YT is only cutscenes without boss fights. The English version just doesn't compete with Japans immersion.
The only part about this game that sucks is that it’s so good that the letdown you inevitably get when the combat finally clicks for you, you finish the game and then realize there’s no DLC or sequel …. Not even kidding it kind of ruined gaming for me

The best thing about the genichiro fight was using his lighting against him... seems like you were scared to use the lightning technique
