Stayed in La Pinta 2019, it’s a beautiful complex & we had an apartment facing the pool, we were self catering so ate outside, much better atmosphere in Sunset Bay, thanks Kevin great video xxx 👏👍👏

We stayed here 3 weeks ago on a half board plus basis. The plus is that you get a drink with your evening meal each night and worked out at around 2 euro extra per day. Could not fault the hotel or the staff in anyway. It is fantastic for families and very much centred around families with activities and a mini disco each night. The food was great with a big choice buffet style and in our week there we had 5 themed nights. There is a staircase from the grounds that brings you straight out to the beach front for guests only to use. Great location too with everything close by. Across from the hotel is a little walkway that takes you up to where you get the free bus to Siam Mall or the service busses that go all over.

Hi Andrew, can i ask what the evening entertainment is like? was it on till late? is it any good for kids (except the mini disco). Thank you :)

@@carlybacon8315 After the kids club there was a bit of a break then the entertainment came on. We saw a Flamenco group and a few vocalists and they were on until around 10 ish. There are also loads of places around it with entertainment on. The hotel has all sorts on for kids during the day and age specific. The restaurant staff are brilliant with the kids and they had their own food section too.

We have stayed here a few years ago with a 2 year old. Just rebooked for July with an almost 6 and a 1 year old. Apartment set up was perfect for families. Food was so so and not great but we aren’t mega fussy and wouldn’t starve. We tend to try and enjoy a nice lunch out instead some days. It breaks the day up and when we went with our 2 year old he would always have a nap then so we would take him a sandwich or something. I’m thinking this time the kids will be ready for a little shade break at lunch so could be a good idea again. They’ll also be too tired to go anywhere out of an evening most likely so I’m not too worried about the food - the accommodation and facilities for kids was perfect for a family. We also had a sea view room which we’ve never had before and it was just lovely!!! Paid to have the same again this time as only £100 extra for the week.
Just can’t wait. We were supposed to be on holiday April 2020 which obviously got cancelled!

I think the breakfasts are a hit or a miss, there is a lot of low quality food ones but there are a lot of good ones, I think if your having bacon and sausages every morning you will be disappointed a lot, the Spanish don't do UK bacon and sometimes the little hotdogs style sausage 😞I remember my first time in Tenerife about 7 years ago we stayed at the playa Olid apartments and they made fresh omelets and if you went over to the salad bar and got the nice Spanish ham they would cook it up with some grated cheese that and a bit toast and tea 😋
