When I decided to make Eagle 1 and it kinda' took off, I was a bit worried that the YT algorithm and, like, 'my brand,' would be locked into only making Helldivers 2 songs, sort of like how it's hard for cover artists to break out of that sphere and such, so every time someone who doesn't play Helldivers 2 says that they found my music, that's really good to hear because it means that I have a broader appeal.

I have a quick update regarding Spotify: I signed up with a distributor and will be on Spotify no earlier than June 14th, but will probably be on other platforms earlier. Remastered versions of all 4 of my Helldivers songs will be uploaded to UA-cam Music, probably not under this account, but an official artist account of the same name. Even if you've seen the original versions, listen to the remastered ones when they're up because their audio quality makes these last 4 sound terrible by comparison (who's a fancy bitch, now? Me. I'm the fancy bitch, now. That's who).
And disclaimer: I'm brand new to all of this, so if I'm wrong about any of this, I'm sorry. 🤍

Idk other to put this than I feel like I was running a Lvl 4 mission by myself as a Lvl 7, and then 3 other Lvl 80s drop in and drag me into a Lvl 9 Helldive; I don't know what I'm doing or why it's working, but everyone keeps telling me to keep doing whatever it is I'm doing and I haven't died yet, so I might as well keep going.

This one was a lot different from my previous Helldivers songs, being much closer to all the songs I uploaded before Eagle 1, so that's really good to know. I'll see about making more dubstep/edm/synth/trance songs in the future. ^_^

Personally, I don't like it as much as Eagle 1, but I do think it's the first song I've released since that is a worthy follow-up. Not that I didn't like my others, but I've never recalled heard anything quite like it before. So, for the sound, my inspiration was as follows: "What if I said 'capybara' like 40x in a row as fast as I can?"
And it all spiraled out of control from there.
If you liked the way this one sounds, check out my pre-Eagle 1 releases because they're much more similar to this one. Tisiphone and Ma Chérie, especially, but Horseplay, too, while you're in there. 😉

I finished the first draft of this song at 4am earlier this week, and at 4am, I have notoriously shit-taste, so I sent it to my friends, asking, "Is this shit? It's okay if it's shit. You can tell me if it's shit," immediately followed by, "It's definitely shit. It must be shit. You are supposed to tell me it's shit. There's no way anyone else could possibly like this." 😅
Anyway, I'm glad that the Anxiety Gremlin was squashed by the Fuck-it-we-ball Demon because, yeah, this one goes so hard, and it's the first one I've released since Eagle 1 that felt like a worthy successor.

I signed with a distributor yesterday and they said that it'll be at least 5 business days before it's on Spotify (June 14th). It is likely to appear on every other platform (UA-cam Music, iTunes, and many more) before it's on Spotify. As soon as I know it's up, on YTM and Spotify, I'll put it in a community post and on a pinned comment in whichever video I release around that time. The release album, Dive! Dive!
