What an absolutely wonderful ride Dark has been. After this video, I dug deep for a few days into all the information I had so far missed, as well as possible theories. I ended up making a video about this a while back on the channel, which you can obviously (re)watch should you like to hear some of my final thoughts having been able to let the ride fully sink in! ua-cam.com/video/FJZC0liRPL0/v-deo.html . Thank you all for having joined me on this amazing journey!

I still believe that Marek and Sonja are Martha and Jonas from the original World. 'Marek' is very similar to 'Martha' and if you shuffle the letters of Sonja, you'll get Jonas.
Martha and Jonas seeing each other as children intertwined them, so they were always “a perfect match” it was never Jonas and his original Martha. It was always the Martha from world two. Because they were the key to the puzzles.
I like how Claudia saved herself as well. She exists in the origin world, even though it doesn’t say whether she is still alive or not. Claudia for the win.

Right from season 1, Jonas literally gave away how the series would end. "How do you bring someone back from the dead? You find them when they were alive."
@23:00 at this point Martha had just seen Jonas die in her arms and Jonas had just seen Martha die in his arms... Now they are standing with each other moments later. crazy

Since seeing Dark, I have been on the outlook for these shows that spiral down and down in their mystery, and keep constantly challenging your understanding of what everything is. And I have found two of those: Severance, and Silo. They scratched this same itch, and are as exceptional in quality. No doubt you would have an absolute blast watching these, especially Severance.
On rewatches you'll notice Wöller (Eye-patch guy/missing arm guy) gives Ulrich funny looks when he catches him cheating with Hannah and then on her with Charlotte (in Martha's world). He also mentions to Inspector Clausen whilst driving him how Hannah is "very pretty". It all makes sense because he likes her in all 3 worlds, and ends up with her in the origin world possibly because her head wasn't turned by Mikkel/Ulrich.
Great reaction bro.. With you it felt real with all the confusions 😂 Some of the other reactors were too intelligent and guessed things before which takes the fun out of it.. I could relate to your reactions more 😬 what an amazing masterpiece Dark is.. I have alrdy rewatched it 5 times
Did you just call me stupid? Haha nah it's all good man! Super glad to hear it. I think it helped that I strayed away from thinking too much about theories inbetween watching episodes. I just gave my thoughts and did some on the spot predicting, but I never allowed myself too much time inbetween recording sessions to think everything through because that would maybe have given me the opportunity to see some things coming. I also basically binged the last season in two days I think lol. Thanks for having joined me on the journey man! :)

Dark has so many sides to it. So many levels. You can always discover new angles. I like that it's science fiction driven by human desire. It's philosophical and poetic.

Bartosz got a pretty raw deal in the loop worlds. I wonder if he exists in the origin world and had it better. It's possible, since he's not a time baby: Aleksander coming to Winden had nothing to do with time travelers. And although Regina might not have been in the woods to find him, he still could have survived his injuries (how bad could they have really been if a teenager patched them up with a home med kit?), met Regina, and had Bartosz. It's pure speculation, but I'd like to imagine that happened, since Aleks+Regina is basically the only really wholesome relationship in the show.
@@neezduts69420 I addressed those points. Yes, Regina probably wouldn't have been in the woods at the time, but Boris still could have survived. Or maybe she was in the woods anyway, because she was just going for a walk. It's pure speculation either way. The point is, time travel isn't required for them to have met and had Bartosz. He's not a "time baby" the way all the descendants of Silja, the original time baby, are.
this show... man o man. I came across it by reading a comment on a random Netflix upload stating that "DARK" was the best series they had seen and it had several replies vouching the exact same. without watching any trailers, I immediately checked if it was still on Netflix at the time and I just sat and watched over a 3/4 day period. my mind was absolutely blown as to how good the writing, music and just overall storytelling were throughout. fucking love this show and it will forever remain the best piece of sci-fi art I have witnessed. it was a HUGE shame this team couldn't get the last 2 seasons they had planned out for "1899" which was also written really well.
What only a few people get, that they changed nothing. Martha and Jonas prevent Tannhäuser from building the time machine, so the two worlds will never exist, so Martha and Jonas will never exist, so they can't prevent Tannhäuser from building the time machine. They only added something new to the cycle. All will happen like it always did. Thats the problem with time paradoxa.
First, it's Tannhaus, not Tannhäuser. Second: we literally saw that it worked and Tannhaus never lost his family, therefore never built the time machine. We saw in the end (I assume in 2019 or 2020) there are only people present who were not part of the knot, which means the knot is indeed broken. Maybe that is the true paradox, that the knot essentially destroyed itself, causing it to never have existed in the first place, yet still was able to do it. If the writers intendet for the knot to still be going on, they would have actually shown that somehow, but they have not. So this is just a theory in your mind, that has no evidence in the show itself.
You missed the point. Martha and Jonas never existed because Marek and Sonja never died. The entire show that we saw, beyond the moments in the origin world, existed outside of space of time, in the blink of an instant. They're basically Schroedinger's Adam and Eve.
Elizabeth and Charlotte brought Baby-Charlotte to Tannhaus in order to prevent him from inventing time travel in the two alternative worlds. So he had someone to care for after the death of his family. There will still be something left from Jonas & Martha because Marek & Sonja saw them and maybe even tell original Charlotte about the night her father had an encounter with two "angels". The guy in the picture with Claudia & Regina was Bernd Doppler.
The thing with Tannhaus isn't really correct. Charlotte was brought to him because it was a bootstrapped event that needed to happen as part of Adam's plan to keep the timeline consistent up until the point that he could, as he believed, kill Alt-Martha and "the origin". Adam was the one sending people back in 2053, and we know that he wasn't aware of the origin world.

@@rahulprakaash3350 The connections you're trying to make don't make sense to me. Characters aren't "reborn" in the alternate world, their alternate versions simply exist in parallel with the other. Two separate lines running next to each other, not one after the other. Just because you saw Jonas' world first in the show doesn't mean it's the "original" world and that Alt-Martha's world and characters are somehow secondary to it in any real sense. Katharina was holding onto Mikkel because neither could understand what was happening during the apocalypse and they were simply comforting each other in their unease and fear.
@@Greyscale11 Netflix Dark also have a similar concept as Donnie Dunko, because in both Hero is a chosen one both are on time travel. Both have a living receiver and dead receiver, in Donnie Dunko It is Gretchen and Frank and in Dark it was Mikkel ghost who traveled back in time and haunt hero in dream and Martha Ghost who haunted both Jonas and afterlife of Martha (alternate Martha) similarly Frank did in Donnie Dunko. In Dark Mikkel soul who was haunting Jonas so that he will find a hint how to do those things which was according to Mikkel was Gods plan and also Mikkel came in dream of Jonas when he was suppose to go to past for rescuing Mikkel so that Noah kidnap Jonas similarly in Donnie Dunko Frank Haunts Donnie so that he can guide Donnie for Gods plan. Both have concept that alternate universe created and after Apocalypse everyone have a deja vu that this already happened because they have experience that in alternate universe, that universe destroyed and they came to original universe feels like that was a dream, in both there is a concept that Someone deciding who will be the Living received and dead receiver and how will they manipulate each other to reach a Goal of Doing the Apocalypse and for re establishment of real World in which everyone will come to life again, so in Donnie Dunko it is shown that God is choosing who will do what for the greater goal and in Dark also Many times it was said that God have a plan for us.
In the picture in the real world at house party in the end you see Regina with Claudia and Bernd Doppler who is the real father of Regina. Tronte was from the origin knot , if Regina was his daughter she would not live. Bernd Doppler and Claudia live also in the origin world. Greetings from Germany❤PS: it also means that Claudia not even had an affair with Tronte but also with Bernd Doppler when he was her Boss at the nuclear plant in Adams world.

I'm reposting my comment here to avoid spoilers for people : Episode 2x06, to me, is the best episode of the show. I've been passionate about this show when it was airing and still am, I'm using it when teaching tragedy/fate, Oedipus story to my students. This show is a huge masterclass of writing, directing, acting... The visuals are phenomenal, the songs chosen for each episode sound like they could have been written for the show, the cast is extraordinary (I was particularly blown away by the different actors playing the same characters at different ages, they REALLY looked like the child version or elder version of the same character, 95% of the times, movies and shows screw that...). I was so passionate and invested in this show at the time I was greatly disappointed by season 3 and the ending, as I spent one year or more speculating, imagining different endings. The premise of the multiverse that was teased in the season 2 finale was wasted. I'm a big fan of the TV show Fringe, it's a wonderful show who played with multiverses and different versions of the protagonists... wonderfully. So, I was disappointed by what Dark did with the alternate versions of the characters, most of them were underwhelming. Aaaaaand, well... As a saccharine romantic, I would have brought back the original Martha, prevent Adam to kill her in the last episode, before the inevitable Great Reset, to give a proper ending to Jonas and Martha. The fact they ended Jonas and Martha with Martha's alternate version and tied it up with that cheap Interstellar scene... It still pisses me x) Even if Jonas and alternate Martha are Adam and Eve / the origin of all these characters and mess... But the fact is I'm still talking about the show in my class, just like Breaking Bad, after all these years... :)
I understand, I'm a romantic at heart and the story of Adam and Eve/Jonas and Martha really tugs at my heartstrings. I think having Adam travel to before he shoots Martha would have changed too much and a lot of the rest of the show would have to change - how it would look would be fun to speculate on though...
I think the ending was another Schroedinger's Cat scenerio that was part of the loop, after Tannhaus turned his machine on in the future. Plenty of clues to support this. And it's likely Jonas and Martha were created from Marek and Sonja. Sonja is an anagram for Jonas and MARek TannHAus spells Martha. And it's definitely implied that Jonas will be reborn into the Origin world, which means Martha should be around somewhere. Because... Of that unbreakable bond they formed when all three worlds were connected. 😉

They went for the "happy ending" by violating the established principles of time travel in their show; understandable, and somewhat like a "fairy tale", but perhaps a bit unsatisfying. Personally I'd've preferred it if they'd maintained the internal consistency of the time travel as perfect causal loops, in that sense they'd simply spawn a new branch of the origin world where Jonas and Martha save Marek and Sonja, but then continue to live. The Adam and Eva branches would still also exist, as would the original branch where Marek and Sonja dies. Note how there isn't actually ultimately any "looping" despite all the talk about it, because individually characters just live out their lives, even if they jump back and forth between times and worlds to meet differently aged and alternate versions of themselves along the way. Sure, future events cause past events, but if you arrange it as a tree of timelines it doesn't actually ever loop, it still just branches. So in my headcanon the actions of Tannhaus in the primary branch of the origin world (where Marek and Sonja die) does create a lot of suffering by spawning the Adam and Eva branches and all the cruelty and pain in them, but at least manages to both cause a new branch of the origin world (sadly not one he himself personally will ever get to enjoy) where Marek and Sonja remain alive and his alternate self there presumably never is sufficiently motivated to make any time-branching machine, as well as cause the existence of a young pair of Jonas and Martha that can live out their lives in the alternate branch they end up in, having not really experienced that much pain and suffering themselves at that point (and technically they still have the machine, but it's unclear if they have enough fuel to keep using it, or knowledge to make more or maintain it, or even the will to use it).
I don't think they necessarily broke the established rules. They explained it with the Schroedinger's explanation in 3x7 - the world's both existed and didn't exist all at the same time, therefore Jonas and Martha both existed and didn't exist at the same time. I actually think your scenario is more fairytale, as you actually have a happier ending for Jonas and Martha 😅 But yes, I think what we saw at the end was a branching off of the origin world where Tannhaus never felt the need to create a time machine. It's worth remembering that, as per what Claudia says to Adam, Tannhaus technically destroyed his own world to create the split - so there is no branch beyond that moment (at least for our established Winden characters)
@@sVieira151: They did break the rules. The reference to superposition doesn't change anything at all, both worlds still exist, and one is in fact necessary for the other to occur. The problem is exactly what I outlined, namely that they're failing to understand that even branches of timelines still only go forward, and that the "loop" is only causal. The characters only ever actually experience their own lives once, even if they interact with themselves along the way. You can call the scenario I outlined a "fairy tale" all you like, but fact remains that it's the only outcome that's actually consistent with the rules they set up, i.e. not a plot hole. I was just suggesting how they could have had a somewhat happy ending even in not deviating from their own plot. And yes, the last timeline we see is indeed a separate one from the one where Tannhaus makes the machine. That one is indeed destroyed (and this is the cause for the branching of the timeline to the Adam and the Eva timelines very early on, likely in the 1800s at some point). I already made that clear above.
Yeah definitely! I think I already started to realize during this episode why certain character's couldn't be part of the origin world, but I definitely realize the full scope of everything by now.
"Original" H.G. Tannhaus "destroyed and split his world", according to Claudia. If it is destroyed and split, where does this third world come from and how are they able to travel to that destroyed and split original world.. and who picked up the triquetra for the first time in any of the "new worlds", someone else knew?

Because the Origin World existed up until 1986, when Tannhaus activates the machine. If the Origin World would stop to exist at all, there wouldn't be no machine to trigger the opening of the passage in Adam's World, therefore it needs to exist until it doesn't need to anymore (from 1986 going forward). Jonas and Martha convenientely needed to travel in 1971, so the Origin World still exists in that time, that's why they can travel there. As for the Triquetra symbol, we learned from Adam's World that H.G Tannhaus' ancestors had a secret cult/society, "Sic Mundus Creatus Est", already way back around the early 19th century, because the Old Tannhaus' father wanted to bring back to life his wife and believed time travel could be the solution. The cult picked the Triquetra symbol from the Emerald Tablet (from which they also took the "Sic Mundus Creatus Est" name for the cult), we can see they were chronologically the first ones to adopt it because the Old Tannhaus' staff had the symbol carved on it as well as the cult's name, in 1888. Now, in the Origin World, they of course never actually managed to invent time travel, because they had no intervetion of time travellers from the future. So the cult just ceased to exist when its last member, the Old Tannhaus, passed away. (I think that's also why H.G. Tannhaus could be the only one who could invent time travel in the Origin World, because he had the ancestors' "knowledge" plus way more modern tech to actually invent it, added to a very huge motivation to do it, aka bringing his family back from the unalived). But in Adam's World, time travellers actually manifested in 1888 (And that's the farthest point in time going backwards they will ever go, meaning that history before 1888 was exactly the same in the closed loop worlds as well as in the Origin World), and their new cult "Sic Mundus" effectively took over the old one, as well as the Triquetra Symbol. Of course, being a closed loop, now the use of the Triquetra Symbol after this moment, will effectively have no chronological order in both worlds. We've seen that Eva's World pretty much straight up copied a lot of things from Adam's World, because it was fated they would be counterparts of each other. We can also assume that the Tannhaus' "Sic Mundus Creatus Est" cult existed in Eva's World too, in the 19th century, but Eva's travellers either never travelled that far in time or they did and just took over in a different way. I say this because we can see that the Erit Lux cult is being active in 21st century (2019 up until 2052) and presumably in the late 20th century too (1986, cause Helge is still doing the kidnapping thing). So Eva either just created a counterpart to Adam's Sic Mundus cult because she knew it was her fate to do it, or actually took over the old Sic Mundus Creatus Est cult as well and rebranded it entirely, new name and new symbol (The staff of Hermes), because she already knew that Adam took over his version of the cult as well and kept the name and symbol instead. However, her son, The Unknown, actually writes a notebook that has a Triquetra symbol on the cover, so in some way the symbol is also in that world.
@@ClassyJoker My question was more or less: where did the third reality come from all of a sudden? A: Because the Origin World existed up until 1986, when Tannhaus activates the machine. If the Origin World would stop to exist at all, there wouldn't be no machine to trigger the opening of the passage in Adam's World. Wha? ;) The original world *split* (as is explicitly said in the series) in 1986, but then it is not needed anymore in it's original form, at least not for what you are implying. It's like saying that you cannot exist after your parents' death, because there is noone to give birth to you, but they already did what they had to do, the milk has been spilled. :P Thus their existance has nothing to do with you anymore, but that is a rather wrong example, because the original world did not stop existing, it split ITSELF, it changed itself, it evolved, of course it did not stop existing (energy cannot vanish nor be created out of nothing, well, energy within a universe does not have to be governed by the same laws as the universe itself, but no one knows). At the end you learn that the reality actually became a system of quantum entangled reality(ies?) in a superposition of three. Second of all, there were no time machines in both of the "new worlds", those were created there out of/based on a paradox, so nothing is needed to create anything in those new realities, or both of them are needed fot that, but the original reality was not involved. Adam did not know it existed, he wanted to destroy both realities into a black hole or whatever, he wanted to make it stop, kind of like Magento in the Age of Apocalypse. Third of all, original Tannenhaus did not build a time machine, he created a machine which created the superposition, which is excplicitly stated in the series by the all knowing narrator. New world's Tannenhauses build time machines in both new worlds based on a paradox - already existing time travel. Let me ask the question differently, is there anything except for the triquetra that suggests the third world in the first two seasons?
@@ClassyJoker In the second part you lost yourself (and I do not blame you). :P "Now, in the Origin World, they of course never actually managed to invent time travel (..) " versus just a line later "(..) I think that's also why H.G. Tannhaus could be the only one who could invent time travel in the Origin World, because he had the ancestors' "knowledge" (..)" Putting aside the contradiction. Original Tannenhaus did not create time machine, period. Most likely OG T. had no chance, with or without his grandfather who actually accomplished nothing. Time travel was created through a paradox. I would argue that it was quantum mechanics that helped him, the technology Tannenhaus created himself, kind of, took him some time. "And that's the farthest point in time going backwards they will ever go.." Not exactly, theoretically they could go further back and forth, they had no means, the passage did not exist nor did the machines at that time. "..meaning that history before 1888 was exactly the same in the closed loop worlds as well as in the Origin World.." I wouldn't go that far. We do not know, if there were differences they had no big influence on the main events, bnuit I would not go that far. Just to be sure we are on the same page, the passage came to be from a paradox, just as all the time machines. The only way to get out of the sutuation was that it was not a loop, but space-time (time more than space) was in a shape of a slinky, but the next "loop" on it is slightly, unnoticably different from the last one, with unbelievable amount of loops that would explain how Claudia got to where she was supposed to... yes, imho supposed to. :D There is something in theoretical physics called chronology protection conjecture proposed by Hawking (as well as an amateur movie based on that idea v=vrRiFZ9rGtg). It states that the reality itself has a natural (built in) mechanism to prevent time travel. You can interpret a lot of Dark in that way, the reality itself was against the time travel so this "preventing mechanism" triggered and ended the time travel by slowly but surely creating possibility that created last version of Claudia. :) A lot of "convinient" parts can be explained using it, including that Tannenhaus rescued his son by creating the time travel, which he himself had no idea of at the end. Kind of a another superposition, he both created the time travel and did not. The hint at the end also kind of shows that time works in mysterious ways in the series.. almost infinite amount of loops took just a few seconds in the original world. Again let me rephrase my question, where did the tablet come from? Who was the very first?
@@rahulprakaash3350 I would disagree with almost everything. There is no such thing as quantum immortality concept in physics, that's first of all. Pure fantasy based on missunderstandings or just pure fantasy very loosely based on some quantum phenomenons, nothing more. Immortality. Fools' errand. You are made of atoms, all atoms decay, may take long time but eventually everything you are made of will cease to exists in the current form, bah, black holes will disapear one day, nothing seems to be everlasting, inluding the dynamic Universe (as far as we understand it, the Universe cannot exists in a static state). There are quantum experiments done with life subjects (few cells), like double slit experiment, all life subjects turn out dead as a nail coffin on the other side. 100%. Now, there is absolutely no indication in all of the series about reincarantion. Katherina, Peter, Adam, Eve, Tannenhaus and all original characters are born in all of the worlds, (except for Tanenhaus' son, which is there but as a kind of mirror reflection - Martha and Jonas - Sonja). Both new worlds are connected, you can say that all three are one since the "triquetra reality" came to be by splitting one original reality, kind of superposition, that can explain the entaglments of memories/feelings without going off the rational road, but still it's just kind of, sort of, maybe somehow. :)
One of the most beautiful thing in this show is that tannhaus actually was able to save his son through his invention though indirectly
Dark series also shown reincarnation as a quantum Immortality concept, Katherina died in first world and reborns in second World, she then died in second World during apocalypse but her soul remembers her suffering during the lost of Mikkel that's why she was hugging Mikkel during apocalypse, Peter died in first world and reborns in second World, that's why he was feeling like he have met Jonas, when Jonas first time came to his world, because he have given him therapy, Martha have also born in second World that's why she was saying that when I met you Jonas I felt I met you before, Magnus Does all time travel thing with Jonas and reborns in second World and that's why he was satisfied during Apocalypse of second World because he have done so much work so his soul was satisfied. Similarly Francisca also done so much work and reborns in second second World and she was not having voice because she disrespected her sister who can't speak and her soul was also satisfied during Apocalypse of second World. but Jonas born again in his own universe but in Scrodinger cat theory, quantum immortality, that's why he never born in second World because he was always present in his world, his soul never gone their to reborn. But they all reborn in third world through different parents and reunited. The paradise.
yes it may possible that quantum immortality concept of quantum physics can exist in real we just don't know that we are immortal and we will be become our Ulternate version of Scrodinger cat experiment, as Jonas felt something when he first read the letter of Martha, because he knows then only that The lines he said to real Martha can't be known by the Martha of other world. So it may be all version of all characters were past and future life of each other. And that is why he became Adam from Jonas.
There is also a hint given in episode 5 of season 2 that in staring scene Middle Jonas dreamed where he is with Teenage Martha on bed and then suddenly Martha belly Ejects black liquid and that was their son, the origin, he was shocked because Adult jonas never goes to Martha for intercourse on bed , but because in true sense he goes to Martha world and died and reincarnated in alternate version.
I still believe that Marek and Sonja are Martha and Jonas from the original World. 'Marek' is very similar to 'Martha' and if you shuffle the letters of Sonja, you'll get Jonas.
Especially when you remember his name is MARek TAnnhaus
The guy on the picture is Bern Dopler, the headguy of the plant, who gave Claudia his job. He's the father or Regina

Everything was so well done in this show! The casting, the acting, the story. It was all brilliant
When you look carefully the original world was shot in another format of picture.

I put Mr. Robot up there too!
From is really a wild trip too.
Severance is amazing I'm dying for season 2
Thanks for these recommendations!
With you it felt real with all the confusions 😂
Some of the other reactors were too intelligent and guessed things before which takes the fun out of it..
Im so happy Peter came back. He was honest to god the most wholesome character

I had to rewatch the entire series just to catch things I may have missed. Made a lot more sense after I finished.

In the origin world Boris/aleks never met Regina so Bartosz would never be born
Speaking of which Regina was the one who patched up Aleks wounds so he probably bled to death

1899 is a great show but it leaves you on a bit of a cliffhanger waiting for season 2, which is never going to come
What a journey man, loved watching you react to it!
I'm reposting my comment here to avoid spoilers for people :
Episode 2x06, to me, is the best episode of the show.
Need an offshoot romcom of reborn Jonas and Martha getting together
awesome show! one in a lifetime master piece! thanks for your reaction!
You should give 1899 a try. It has an ending whis is a conclusion but with a possibility of a season 2.
I actually think your scenario is more fairytale, as you actually have a happier ending for Jonas and Martha 😅
But yes, I think what we saw at the end was a branching off of the origin world where Tannhaus never felt the need to create a time machine. It's worth remembering that, as per what Claudia says to Adam, Tannhaus technically destroyed his own world to create the split - so there is no branch beyond that moment (at least for our established Winden characters)
@@sVieira151:
They did break the rules.
1899 next 😊
Thanks for the wonderful journey together.
Greetings, from Athens, Greece.
Do you understand why there is no Ulrich in the origin world ?
Yeah definitely! I think I already started to realize during this episode why certain character's couldn't be part of the origin world, but I definitely realize the full scope of everything by now.
@@RobinoyoReacts The finale scene was all the people not born through time travel.

My question was more or less: where did the third reality come from all of a sudden?
A: Because the Origin World existed up until 1986, when Tannhaus activates the machine. If the Origin World would stop to exist at all, there wouldn't be no machine to trigger the opening of the passage in Adam's World.
Wha? ;)
The original world *split* (as is explicitly said in the series) in 1986, but then it is not needed anymore in it's original form, at least not for what you are implying.
It's like saying that you cannot exist after your parents' death, because there is noone to give birth to you, but they already did what they had to do, the milk has been spilled. :P
Thus their existance has nothing to do with you anymore, but that is a rather wrong example, because the original world did not stop existing, it split ITSELF, it changed itself, it evolved, of course it did not stop existing (energy cannot vanish nor be created out of nothing, well, energy within a universe does not have to be governed by the same laws as the universe itself, but no one knows).

In the second part you lost yourself (and I do not blame you). :P
"Now, in the Origin World, they of course never actually managed to invent time travel (..) "
versus just a line later
"(..) I think that's also why H.G. Tannhaus could be the only one who could invent time travel in the Origin World, because he had the ancestors' "knowledge" (..)"
Putting aside the contradiction.
"And that's the farthest point in time going backwards they will ever go.."
Not exactly, theoretically they could go further back and forth, they had no means, the passage did not exist nor did the machines at that time.
"..meaning that history before 1888 was exactly the same in the closed loop worlds as well as in the Origin World.."
I wouldn't go that far.
There is something in theoretical physics called chronology protection conjecture proposed by Hawking (as well as an amateur movie based on that idea v=vrRiFZ9rGtg). It states that the reality itself has a natural (built in) mechanism to prevent time travel. You can interpret a lot of Dark in that way, the reality itself was against the time travel so this "preventing mechanism" triggered and ended the time travel by slowly but surely creating possibility that created last version of Claudia. :)
A lot of "convinient" parts can be explained using it, including that Tannenhaus rescued his son by creating the time travel, which he himself had no idea of at the end.
Kind of a another superposition, he both created the time travel and did not.
The hint at the end also kind of shows that time works in mysterious ways in the series.. almost infinite amount of loops took just a few seconds in the original world.
Again let me rephrase my question, where did the tablet come from? Who was the very first?
@@rahulprakaash3350
I would disagree with almost everything.
Also, how is it always about saving Martha? I mean look at Batman v. Superman!😂
