one of my old 'friends' who im not friends with anymore - for unrelated reasons - had the same attitude towards fanfics, except she was so much more judgy about it. she wrote original stuff, i write original stuff and fanfics. she got SO pissy with me over me writing fanfics it isnt even funny. half the people that say fanfics are bad are like tubbo, who havent had a good interaction with fics, and the other half are her, who are judgy as shit because they think theyre better than fanfiction. fucks sake, 50 shades was a fanfic. so many mainstream books are fanfics its not even funny how many people try shitting on them.
