Definitely put up a fence and gate with an alarm. Put her swim lessons ASAP she is old enough now for learning to float. Love how everything is looking in the new house and Fall is my favorite time of year.
Highly recommend in ground pool fence with safety lock. It’s about 5ft tall. Keeps kids and dogs out. The in ground ones are more sturdy especially when it gets windy
Highly recommend ISR (infant swimming resource) swim lessons. They start them as babies. We did it for both of our boys starting at 6 mths and it was the best money ever spent. Some instructors will even come to your home to do the lessons. Also a pool fence around the pool.
ISR for Ivey, safety cover for the pool during the off-season, and they make an alarm that goes off when something disturbs the pool. It's incredibly loud from what I've been told.
You guys are so cute getting all dressed up fancy for date night!!! 😊 Your new place is absolutely beautiful 😍
I would definitely put ivy in swim lessons sooner than later because it’s way easier for them to learn the younger they are! Even if it’s only by a year
There’s an alert system for the pool that sends an alert if the water is disturbed. Look into it! Also, turn on door chimes for doors so you know when they are opening for when she gets a little taller and can turn the knob.
Most definitely put up a fence around the pool! Also….I would put door locks (up high) with alarms on all doors that lead outside. Oh….and I would start Ivy in swim lesson right now. The sooner the better! We started our kids in swim lessons when they were about six months old. I wanted the peace of mind that they knew how to float. As they got older I had the peace of mind that they knew how to swim. My youngest loved swimming so much that he was on the swim team for years at school. He’s 20 now lol. Decorations look very pretty. You will find that every year you will change up what you do here and there. I still do and I’ve been in this house for 14 years lol.
Ivey's personality 😄 I cannot!
She is hilarious 😂
Definitely a fence and pool alarm. Swim lessons for sure! Love you guys ❤️❤️
I have to wear a diaper when I watch your videos. because they are hard to stop laughing. ya'll are the high light of my day.
Loving Devin’s new glasses
Y’all make me so happy to watch 🥰
Definitely put a fence around the pool. House is looking great!
Just a little tip: get a mat for under the blackstone so the grease doesn’t stain the concrete. We learned the hard way. 😊
hi from Seattle!! So cool you guys are building a pool too, can’t wait to see it
Ivey is an angel from Heaven❤️❤️❤️
Agreed 😩
Hunter: The mantle looks weird.
Devin: I did that on purpose.
Hunter: It looks greaaaattt!!
There are infant swim lessons! Super popular down here in Florida, since a lot of people have pools. Also they make tall pool fences that go around the border, or like the tight netted ones that span the top. Hope that helps! I prefer the tall gate ones for the practicality of it. The net ones still make me nervous!
Pool alarms, fence, isr lessons 100% & also no puddle jumpers. I didn’t know that until we started isr
love y’all the most!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I took a momma/child swimming class at the YMCA when she was one year old. She loves water as an adult now
The pool enclosure that The East Fam has! You see a bit of it in their sons first birthday video!
The house turned out so perfff 🥹 and the poool 🤩🤩🤩
There are some gorgeous velvet blackout curtains on Amazon that look perfect with that style. They’re good quality and totally black out.
Awesome!!
Put high deadbolts on all the doors!
Look into ISR swimming classes for Ivey! And get a 5ft fence with an alarm!!
Y’all have the best personalities!
Love your channel 😊
I would put a fence around the pool
Put a gate around the pool! You can either have one professionally. Or you can get a gate off Amazon
Highly suggest a pool fence and definitely swim lessons. Another safety back up is I made the kids I nanny wear a life vest anytime we were out back by the pool.
Y’all make me want a wife already. Hopeless romantic here 22 yr old straight male that watches, keep spreading y’all light and ur honestly the luckiest man she makes me yearn for true love😭😭
get a big fence to go around ur pool one that u can take down when ivy get bigfer and able to swim;)
I swear your videos go by too fast😩😩 I seriously love watching your videos🥰♥️
Thanks so much 🥰🥰 we plan to hopefully get consistent on 2 vids a week
Ivey is hilarious hahah
People make gates to put around there pool. For example the labrant fam has that for there kids.
ISR put Ivey in it best possible thing for learning to swim
They have pool gates yall can get installed
Where did you get your nightstands?!
What color is your kitchen cabinets?
Swimming lessons are great, the younger they start to learn...the better. Mt grandkids started at 4 and 6 months.
🥰💓
Glasses info, please!! ♥️
My exact thoughts.
Yes!
Look up Amber Emily Smith and her story. She recommends ISR swim lessons, in ground fencing with two locks, and more. Drowning is the number one cause of death for kids under 4.
Just an idea but I would do ISR swim lessons they are much different and can save a babies life.
Also alarms on doors and fence. They make some pretty nice fencing to go around.
Do you ever buy used furniture or DIY type things not just new.
Fence is needed by code
Kaci and casie
Mr Kate is coming ?
Hiiii

Start swimming lessons with Ivy asap!
Hunter has a very effeminate voice ALWAYS! What is going on?!
