- Naruto Storm Connections dropped about a month ago and I decided to cover it here on the channel for the first time, my thoughts and opinions may not be yours so don't cause me to discourage you if you feel you want to try the game out. I agree with every word you said. I always have been a huge fan of Storm game series and when I heard that the new game is in development I got so hyped, if only I knew what a huge disappointment was in store for me in the future, this is literally my worst purchase of 2023 year. I don’t think that any patches will fix the problems the game has, cause there is too much work to do.

Tbh I’ve given up on anime games being more than a 6/10. So I just play for enjoyment and that tends to make it better. And connections is lazy in lots of places but matchmaking is at least quicker for me. However the spammers do make the game unbearable at times 😭
If 50 percent of this nonsense gets patched online everything could change...but I do not see that happening.
That character select theme from Storm 2 you used in the background at the beginning is legendary.

one of the things this game did right is the pvp. Although you are heavily right on characters being broken the new charka system and mechanics are really good bru
There is actually 100+ characters, excluding the repeats. Naruto and Sage mode Naruto are two different characters with separate combos, so those count towards 100+ characters, but things like Sakura and adult Sakura who have THE SAME COMBOS AND ULTIMATE+ jutsu, and they’re in two different slots, is stupid, and connections is a money grab, I just disagree with you on saying Naruto and sage mode Naruto are in two different slots to deceive the public. That’s not true at all, there is well over 130+ characters in storm connections(with different combos) and yes I counted
They maybe different characters according to the game but they are technically the same character. Naruto is naruto no matter what mode he's in. I dont understand why hes in a different slot when all you need is one slot for Nauto as a character that gives you different drop boxes that display different naruto modes you can choose from (sage mode, karuma link, 6 paths, etc.) For example, if you want to play as naruto awakened in storm 1, he was in only one slot but you were given a drop box that gives you the ability to choose which naruto you want play as, Normal or awakened. I hope now you can see why i stated why this is a bit deceptive, at least generally speaking.
Don’t forget the itachi’s one from the war and Akatsuki and they got the same combos like huh 😂💀
My issue is the Auto.Regen Chakra,that alone breaks the game they took out the thrill of obtaining an maintaining chakra, the A.R.Chakra should have been part of the awakening an only then just my thoughts 🤔

@@Carlisle-mn3fv I have been playing the storm series since I was 8 years old when Storm 1 released in 2008. I'm sorry but that is not true. Auto chakra regen? Thats a completely new thing that is only in Connections and it's destroying the game unfortunately smh 🤦🏽♂️Dont get chakra charging confused with Auto Chakra regen, its two completely different things.
@@unashamedyt799 go replay the older games BOZO it’s there just at a slower rate. It’s always been in the game but was slightly increased due to players having the option of two jutsu. Are you dumb?
@@Carlisle-mn3fvPlease tell me how this makes the game any better. The whole point is that the rate of chakra regen is way faster which will enable spam gameplay which breaks the game. Two justus is the real problem, its not even chakra regen tbh. If your trying to defend an objectively bad game then i wounder whos the dumb one. I don't play online but I enjoy the story mode completely from every storm game there is 🎉
My god. I love this game. The mechanics, original story, character customization returning, new characters meaning new jutsus and new everything. (The only modes I hate are history and pvp I'm never playing pvp)

Revolution and generations did their own unique thing. They also didnt lie and present those games as what they're not. They were fun games for what they were. Connections, on the other hand, was clearly a money hoarding idea thought up by someone comparable to the devil. This uninspired trash heap of a game legit could kill the entire series.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with this game. The voice acting is different but I'm not picky about that. I was so excited when I got this game and I love it! I've played through the story mode and I honestly enjoyed it. I don't regret preordering this game.

@@unashamedyt799 i can understand why they don't and I know everyone has their open opinion about it which is fine! Personally I just try to look past the bad stuff they say about it mostly because I love Naruto as an anime. I understand that the multiple combos can annoy people and it does annoy me to some extent but then again I also love a challenge since I always play with the hardest difficulty.
Going back to old storm games I can’t been asking for the ability to use more than one jutsu like in the anime sasuke can do both fire ball jutsu and chidori. And now u can I been asking for that simple detail and now we got it and more customization like that of a game like my hero ones justice 2. That was given to me.
This game NEEDS patches upon patches… Only then can it be ARGUED upon would this game be worth it ON SALE

It feels like they were rushing just to put something out for the anniversary but even then if they would have just copied over some of the things they did before it wouldn't have ended up as bad

Changing things that werent broken, giving us a zero effort History mode, making a special story mode with no playable characters or playable open world, thats how it ended up like this unfortunately

I'm pretty sure it only exists because they was force to update the Naruto games and don't have update ready for shib strikers every year company's are mostly force to pay to keep there license and they probably don't have much money since Naruto Storm don't make any money since 2018 lol and it 86 characters

I've been playing the older storm games and the one issue that I have are with the QTE's in storm 1 and 2. I have such a hard time with those QTE's and they suck cause I lose all my progress cause of them!
little tip: you can literally just mash every button and spin the analog stick...that´s how I always got all stars in those games
@ScientologyHunter2 I don't feel like I can do that, though cause if I button mash the wrong way, that's a fail. Idk if it's different on consoles than on PC, but in storm 1, I feel like you have to get it perfect, and I consistently die to those long button prompts.
