Thanks for showing the latency difference between the two (or the gap as said in the video). That for me was a big deciding factor, as I tried sculpting in Zbrush before on a smaller X-PEN, which wasn't the best. Thank you! :)

When you replace the screen protector, put the protector onto the tablet before removing the adhesive, tape it to one of the long edges of the tablet so the tape acts like a hinge. Then you lift the screen protector and slowly remove the backing that protects the adhesive while putting the protector down. Don't remove all the protective backing at once, peel it as the screen protector goes down. Removing the backing slowly like this helps eliminate bubbles.
An extra step that will make it even easier is to tape something firm like a ruler along the edges of the screen to act as a guide.

thank you for the review. The Warranty don't bother me much because I am in EU Space, so it's always 24 months. No matter what they say or not. And also the xp pen Artist 22 and 16 show in may reviews some weird jitter in the digitizer. This is not acceptable, even for this price. It may be that they fixed this in the firmware in the meantime but now i work with the huion 22 in zbrush and substance, and it feels very smooth and native as input. The time will show how durable the pen display from huion will be.

Could I ask if etched anti-glare glass can have similar drawing experience as the matte screen protector? I mean If etched glass could provide similar paper-texture drawing experience like the matte protector does ? I don’t want to feel like drawing on the normal glass screen. Some people reported that etched glass is still too smooth for them, and not as good as matte screen protector. Hopefully could receive some comment from you ! Thanks !

    • @teohontech7141

The matte screen protector feels very similar to the matte glass. I won't be able to tell which is which in a blind test.
So the main difference comes down to how durable the surface is. If you draw with a heavy hand, likes to use more pressure while drawing, the glass is less likely or won't scratch.

for maths teaching and Note making (writing preference but Not Drawing ) which will be best?
Actually, I have also watched your previous videos where I find that many devices are doing better like Tab S7, IPad pro, and display pen tablets are also good and I don.t have any portability issues cause I have to keep my device at my desk all the time and work.

So, which device should I go for the best long-time note-making experience. plz, suggest me.

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc 3 роки тому +5

For writing, such pen displays usually have noticeable input lag, so you're going to see the line trail behind the cursor while writing. This input lag is more noticeable compared to writing on a tablet, e.g. Samsung Galaxy tablets or iPads.
When writing, you want to write fast so input lag is an issue. When drawing, people don't draw that fast so input lag is not much of an issue.
All pen displays have input lag.
I recommend getting a tablet rather than pen display for note taking. Not sure what you mean by maths teaching? Streaming video for students? If so definitely research some streaming apps that allow you to capture your screen. Samsung will be better because the cursor is visible.

Also, what about the drivers? I've been using XP pen (non displays) for a while and I used to have Huion (non display too), it seemed like XP pen makes better/much stable drivers than Huion. is Huion Kamvas 22 plus still a good buy in 2024? note that I also have both of Xppen 16 pro (2gen) and Huion 16 pro 2.5k in consideration

Kamvas 22 Plus is still a good buy simply because the display quality is really good.
The difference between that 22 vs the 16-inch is just the size. So it depends on which size you're more comfortable with, and maybe how much table space you have. If you're using the display as main display, it may be better to get a larger display.

Huion Kamvas has driver issues. Disconnecting and not detecting table. You have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to recognize the table. Then if you turn your PC and reboot it will not recognize the unit.

Very helpful, but I am still trying to decide if is better to have a Huion Kamvas 22 of US$550 (newest model) or buy the Wacom Cintiq S16, I know are 4 inches difference but from my perspective, I don't want neither want a huge tablet, the bigger the hardest to draw if you draw small you don't put pressure on your shoulder and elbow, small drawing precision is on the wrist then is like you go medium start using the elbow and go big you end using your whole arm what I dot want, a small line can be drawn fast with absolute precision the bigger the line the harder to make it right, then from my perspective probably the perfect tablet size is the 16 inches, now I don't buy tablets every month when you think on a tablet is like will last several years then a US$100 isn't a big difference in long term because I believe a Wacom will last more time taking in count is better quality product, I will not say Huion didn't improved they really improved a lot in the last couple of years, in the other hand windows makes of all tablets owners a nightmare with every single STUPID actualization and in particular the Huion drivers are messed up with every single windows update what I don't see to often with wacom drivers, I really would like to know if wacom products are really a difference are really as good or are simply a luxury

I’ve had that model of XP-Pen for about 2 years and it just died on me. XP-Pen has not been terribly helpful and they’re taking forever to get back to me.
I can’t say much for there customer support. :-/
    I’m looking at Huion now.
